What is this error? How do I correct it? This is currently the bane of my existence.  I have a client file that I am trying to export to RasterLink7 to print on my Mimaki. This error pops up and I am not able to export. I have tried searching for the error and find nothing. Please help! Deadline coming up. Thank you!

Dear Experts,I meet one issue that white overprint is not working.Below element was ticked for "Overprint fill",But when I view it under Overprint preview, the element is still there.only when I click, click, click to the deepest layer, it disappear.Could you please explain how to avoid this issue?  I just want it should be invisible under overprint view for the items I ticket as overprint fill. Hi all,I’m trying to understand illustrator to learn more about the techniques.Now I have drawn a shape and I would like to put white lines only around the flower, but it comes also in the object, what i not want. I also want to remove the tip of the flower as you can see in the red circle.I have tried clipping maks, merge layers, release layer, expand layer.But this doesn’t work at all.Anyone who knows how to fix this?

Hello everyone,I’m trying to streamline my workflow in Adobe Illustrator, and I need help with a specific task. Often, I have to copy text from external sources like Etsy, which frequently comes in multiple lines (e.g., names on separate lines). When pasting this text into a text box on a A4 artboard at the bottom I have in Illustrator, it retains the line breaks, and I end up with text spanning multiple lines. I need the text to be pasted as a single line automatically, without having to manually remove line breaks each time.  See example below - I would need to copy this text, then go to illustrator and then press CTRL+V into the text box  Size 50mm / 2" - 16pcs Colour Name: John Doe  When I do this though it goes over several lines. If I try the area type tool it doesnt work   any help and guidance is graciously recieved 

Sorry for horribly worded title, I'm having a hard time putting this into words.This is what the file should look like:  But after opening in illustrator looks like this: Any ideas on how to fix it? I assume its with the blending/transparency but its just a guess.Thank you!!! :3

Illustrator will work for a couple of minutes and then just shuts down. No explanation, no error. Just quits.When you relaunch it, it claims that it has saved your file, but it is not the most current--it's 20 minutes old so a lot of changes are lost.I started saving after nearly every change and it still crashes with no errors.I have cleared my cache no help. This is happening on Windows 11, in Illustrator 2025 Beta and Illustrator 2024. Unlike the last time this happened, Photoshop is actually still working.Any suggestions?

Hi all, All my apps are the latest versions. When i use Photoshop, (in this instance im editing a text style) all missing font/s are still visible (Picture 1 attached), unless i manually edit the text, which then alerts me that there is a missing font/s in the selected layer (Picture 2 attached). However, i noticed that this doesnt happen in Illustrator. Rather it automatically changes the font OR highlights it pink when i open the file. My question - Is there anyway to enable for illustrator to behave the same way as Photoshop? Please dont ask why, i just want it to do that 🙂

Hi I tried to flow my text around a shape and used text wrap but it didn't do what I want. The text doesn't go around like what I want in the second photo (The first image is the shape and I used to wrap text). Does anybody have a solution to fix it? I also posted a video about the problem 

Hi, Hope someone can help me with this problem: Whenever I draw a rectangle i Illustrator, the symbol palette pops up, and it keeps popping up even if I OK or Cancel. I really can't use Illustrator like this. Many thanks for any help. Marc

hi i curved text and place between the uncurved text  as a ancord object and link in step 1 , but my question is that when i place cursor before accounts in step 2 and hit space the ancord object is not moving forward , how we can move ancord objects within text frame, like flow with text...    thanks in advance

I've been trying to save all kinds of PDF files but the same error appears: "This is an illustrator file that was saved without pdf content"I already check the "Create PDF Compatible File"

I have issues with my Illustrator that suddenly won't open any files, it's just freezing. Now whenever I opened AI, it also freezes, can't even choose any files to open. Tried to restart my mac, and re-install the AI, nothing happens. Also tried to contact customer support via chat but no response at all.

I am trying to make a 3D ball and stick model (molecules), but I can't get the angles of the sticks to look right. My file is attached. I am uploading a label design to 3D software, but I noticed these two lines around "Estate Syrah", which is visible in the png file but not on Illustrator itself. I don't have a border around the text or guides. Any ideas how I can get rid of it?

I had a problem of my Ai frequently crashed at middle of my work. I was helped by Adobe Technical Support to fix the issue. They remotely brought my computer under control & fix the issue. Now it is OK. I saw agent was going to Task Manager & deleted creative cloud files which were duplicated one. Do any one knows this method of fixing the crash issue? There are some dupicated files in Task Manager. Is there any problem to my system if I deleted these files?    

Hi, im having trouble setting up an illustrator doc that exports at the correct size so i can work with exported elements in photoshop, using CS5 for both.What i am trying to do is set up a wireframe illustrator doc for creating iphone 4 artwork, the iphone4 screen size is 640px x 960px (326ppi).So, i have set illustrator to measure units (general, stroke & type) in pixels, then created an artboard 640 x 960. If i draw a shape to fill the artboard then export it, the exported image is 2892px x 4348pxSimilarly, if i create an image in photoshop thats 640px x 960px, then open that image with illustrator, the artboard thats created for it is 141.35px x 212.025pxCan anyone suggest what might be causing this? and how i can correct it so that my pixel measurements match in both programs?thanksRichard

Bonjour,  Je cherche à faire des mock-up de bouteille de vin mais je rencontre des petit soucis de qualité.Je m'explique.J'ai une matrice de bouteille en très bonne qualité ou je n'ai pas de soucis sur ça au moment de l'export cependant mon étiquette enregistré au format PNG 929 x 929 300ppp est en excelettente qualité dans mes dossiers mais au moment ou je la glisse sur mon document illustrator elle devient flou et lors de l'enregistrement mes bouteilles ne sont pas nettes.Avez-vous une astuce à me donner pour ne pas perdre en qualité ? Merci d'avance 🙂

I have a magnifying glass - I need to be able to lower the opacity of JUST the glass (so I can more clearly see what will be underneath), without affecting the opacity of the handle.  I thought they would need to be 2 separate items to do this. I would also be happy if i could select the glass alone, and lower the opacity - is that even possible? Started in InDesign, and somehow managed to remove the glass - but couldn't find any way to "keep" the handle as well (see upload: "InDesign workings" where the glass is separate on left, but handle still has glass inside). You seem to only be able to keep what's INSIDE a shape. Not the inverse?So I moved over to Illustrator, and made a mask - thinking I could cut the glass out, and move it aside so that I would have two pieces - handle and glass ("Illustrator workings" upload shows original magnifying glass (upper left), magnifying glass with mask on top (middle), and the mask on it's own (lower right).  Please can some cl

Hi, I am trying to create an underwater lighting effect on the back of a boat. I currently have the red circle gradient but the edges of the triangle aren't as soft as I'd like. Is there way to make the sides of this smoother?

Hmmm, it is worse... Previously noted that Preview no longer opens Illustrator files (latest version of OS and AI) properly -- elements are mis-represented. But it is worse -- It is something to do with either Apple or Adobe now messing up the pdf as placing an Illustrator file in KeyNote, which always worked perfectly previously, also does not have fidelity -- elements are messed up. This is disasterous as I have talks to prepare in KeyNote and suddenly have no way to get my AI files in properly without doing something annoying like making a png (bitmap) -- it was always great that Apple Software always dealt properly and seamlessly with Illustrator files but, suddently, this is no longer so. Hopefully it will be fixe quickly!

I've done this before, years ago, and know its possible but I've forgotten how I did it.Pls see image.  This texture image is vector.  I'd like to rasterize it in illustrator, and recolor it in illustrator using swatches. Also, I need to maintain transparency of the background.  I do not have photoshop.  I do know how to edit colors-adjust colors but I'd like to be able to quickly change the color using swatches. Its driving me  nuts!

When I export a PDF from illustrator it appears as 0KB?
