Hi everyone,I'm encountering an issue when I download a PDF from a Google Slides file that contains PNG graphics created in Adobe Illustrator. The images often show up with blurry or blackish edges, and the colors appear brighter than expected (see below for an example). From what I understand, this might be related to how Google Slides exports to PDF, but I’m wondering if I might also be missing something in my Illustrator color management settings.Here’s what I’ve noticed:The problem seems to occur mainly when viewing the PDF in Apple Preview, where the colors appear too bright or with a blackish edge.When I open the same PDF in Google Chrome or Adobe Acrobat, the images display normally, though the colors are still slightly brighter. At least, the PNGs and the colors added within Google Slides remain consistent.Here’s what I’ve tried so far:Tested different PPI settings (75, 150, and 300) for the PNGs when downloading the file at 1920x1080 px resolution.Resized the images to 980x540

Is there an easy way to save the screenshot and do the process whose link I wrote? When I want to do it as an action, it does not save the operations selected from the menu, such as "Delete All Artboards", to the action. Hello, I want my artboard details on excel sheet like name, size, colour code, thumbnail of artboard. is there any way to do this in a single click. Please let me know. 

Just recently my rulers are not behaving. I have them shown, but when I pull a ruler onto the artboard-there it stays! I can not move again or delete it. It just plops there and stays! Every time I look up ruler problems online for help it keeps bringing me to "show the ruler tool" I know how to show it, I just can not get it to behave:(. Very frustrating, please help! Thank you

I created these wavy lines and want to fill in the segments using the shape builder tool. To create the wavy lines, I made a straight line > Effect > Distort and Transform > Zig Zag. I then made an Art Brush using that wavy line, thus allowing me to apply it to an elipse.  When I try to use the Shape Builder Tool to fill in the spaces with color, it fills in the spaces but straightens the lines out and creates these really bizarre line paths. I have no idea why.

Forgive me, I am very new to designing for print collateral. I am making designs to be printed on 3.7" x 3.7" coasters. However, I can't image working on a roughly 4" x 4" workboard would yield clear results. For anyone that has successfully designed coasters, what specs/dimensions did you work in?

Imagine you have filesmain.jsxutils.jsxIn "main.jsx" you specify #target, #targetengine directives so some of your variables could be persistent and use #include to get your utils functions so you could use them later. And... Here you go, your values are not persistent. They become persistent only if you get rid of #include statement. Is it intended behaviour? How do i make #targetengine work and keep my variables at next script run with #include directive? Unfortunately i can't serialize my values to string and save it later so session is my only option.Example code below:--- main.jsx --- #target illustrator #targetengine "session001" #include 'utils.jsx'; if (isNaN(foo)) var foo = 0; foo += 2; alert(foo); --- utils.jsx --- var bar = null;      

Cuando intento abrir Illustrator se queda en la ventana de carga. Es la ultima actualizacion y la maquina que tengo es un MacBook Pro del 2023. Lo desinstale y reinstale y sigue igual. Lo mismo me pasa con Photoshop. Alguien sabe que sucede.

Bonjour, Je possède un GPU AMD Radeon Pro WX3200 Graphics et tous les drivers ont été installés et mis à jours. J'ai configuré dans mes paramètres graphiques Windows d'utiliser Illustrator en performances élevées. Mais au lancement, c'est toujours ma Intel (native) qui se lançait. J'ai donc désactivé ma carte graphique Intel. Malheureusement, voici l'erreur de GPU présente sur Illustrator. Je ne comprends pas ...

Hello.I'm not sure how I caused this or why Adobe isn't changing the color of the object in the layers panel. Further why Adobe is allowing this to happen? How can I prevent this from happening in the future?I'm assuming I used the eye dropper to change the blue letters to white. In my design process the artwork was first created with the blue color. I'm including the Appearance and Layers panel in my screen shot.This print job resulted in a print error and the need to reprint the job. The blue color is what was printed when the white should have been printed.Thank you for your assistance. 

Depuis l'installation des dernières mises à jours (et celà fait plusieurs jours) les applications Photoshop, Illustrator et In Design ainsi que les appli Béta, ne répondent plus lors de l'ouverture. Pourquoi depuis tout ce temps il n'y a pas un mise à jour de faite ? Y'a t'il une solution ? (J'ai déjà essayé de passer sur la version antérieure mais rien n'y fait).Merci

Does anyone know how to explain why the colors appear broken in the color palette and the color picker is OK???

I'm stumped by this, which I assume is a bug. I have an AI file with 60+ artboards of logos in RGB using the same RGB swatches. I am exporting them with 'Export for screens' as PNG, JPG, SVG and PDF files. They are all meant to be in RGB and the PNG, JPG and SVG files are all fine. When I use 'Export for screens', all the files are in RGB EXCEPT the logos with a white (transparent) background; those files are CMYK files. Here's a screenshot of the color settings in the PDF preset I'm using.  Any ideas how I can prevent the CMYK?

Anyone have any thoughts on why Illustrator keeps locking up on me.  I have to re-start in order to continue working only to have it happen again.  

Hola, tengo una duda, ¿Porqué Illustrator me cambia los colores?Por ejemplo, creo mi archivo y realizo mi arte, le coloco el color #ed1a3b a ciertos elementos, pero a los dias cuando vuelvo a ingresar al documento el color cambia a #d9003b o cualquier otro 😢Tambien me sucede con los objetos inteligentes de Photoshop, al pasarlos de un programa a otro esta todo bien, pero a los dias, el objeto cambia de color automaticamente... tengo que estar revisando constantemente porque lo cambia sin razon alguna.  Le tengo asignado el perfil de color RGB 1998, trabajo en una alienware M15 R2, tambien he visto ese problema en mi macbook pro. 

 

This seems to be a recurring discussion for years now, but the last conversations I could find were from a couple years ago. I'm hoping to reopen it with more insights.  I've been using illustrator for a few years now, and have never run into this issue until today. I design magazine ads, which freqently require a 300dpi JPEG.  Today, an editor let me know the files i sent were 72dpi, adn asked for me to resend them. I thought, this is strange... I could have sworn I remembered creating the file and exporting it at 300? So I went back to check and sure enough, I did.Replicating my steps:I create a new CMYK file at 300dpi. Confirmed that the hero imaged placed in the file is in fact 300 dpi alsoFile>Export AsSelected JPEG, Use Artbords, then I get the following screen where I choose CMYK 300ppiI click "OK" and when I go to check the file, it's blurry, and Preview is reading it as a 72dpi image. What is actually going on here? And what is the solution for

I am saving these files to a folder called "Exports" at the destination shown. But every time I go back to save again, Illustrator changes the path back to the parent folder (where the AI file itself is saved). Illustrator 28.5macOS 14.5  

I've spent a while creating my product labels, and the main font is Bebas Neue Regular. All of the labels are saved as an AI file and i print directly from AI. But a couple of days back that particular font is missing from every document? Its in the thumb nail, and if i open the doc in PS it prints ok. Theres not even palce holders or a substitute font in AI If i check the fonts, it shows up but it is blank on the right where it has the favourite star etc. Checking in the fonts file in windows, it is still installed. Ive tried to restart AI. I've reinstalled AI, but no change. Im on a pc using Window 10, and AI is on CC Thank you

Hi all! I'm going crazy here, my Illustrator keeps on glitching, tools not working and I don't know how to solve. I already quit the app so many times, close all other programs while using it, restart the mac, uninstalled and downoalded the program but the same keeps happening. The cloud storage is 1% full so i really have no idea of what can be happening.
