Text on path isn't showing on the assets when I export them! Im using "export as" so I can change the res settings and transparency. It might be the font? As different fonts seem to work better.The only way I can get it to work is if I select the path (that has the type on it) with the type tool and then export.. Screenshots below.

I pretty sure that people never get this .. annoying jagged line when using Ai (except for newbie who accidentaly turn Pixel preview ON)so.... what happened in Ai CC 2020 ? did brainiac in Adobe had seizure or what ? when does ... Ai need some anti Aliasing ???or is it just a mock in the face? like, "go buy latest VGA you poor!, we gonna force you to upgrade since we add an anti aliasing layer when running Ai, you can turn it off, but you will get some Jagged Edge! muahahahaha!" ...  please disagree with me, i want to hear from a person who have tons of gold, so he/she never had a problem with a hardware upgrade, so this problem is not their problem at a

Hi, I wonder if it is possible to compare dielines and show the differences between them. Let´s say that we have a file with a Dieline but it is updated with a new one. How to compare both and show the differences between them? Thank you! 

I have a logo that I ultimatly need rendered properly in a PDF to send for proofing. It has a overprint effect in it but I can't figure out a way to export it as a tif or jpg with a simulated overprint. What I have tried:Export as tif and export as jpg (from Illustrator CS5). Neither export has a simulate overprint option, and both export with a big green blob on top of everything (the green blob is the shape that is overprinting)Save as PDF, press ready, defaults to view of green blob (not simulated overprinting)Save as PDF, change to PDF 1.3, in advanced flattening I set overprint to preserve, and high resolution. Same result as above.In a PDF I can turn on the overprint preview, but I can't make that a default (as far as I know). Additionally, I am sending this to a client, I don't want to have to tell him "Oh, and by the way, here are the 10 steps to simulating overprinting in PDFs!"Also I have tried to import from PDF to Photoshop and there is no option for simulated overprint the

Hello,How may i fix this? when i zoom out of a picture, it becomes stripped out like the image attached. If zoomed up close, it is fine.

Hi all , is it possible to convert RasterItem to placedItem in illustrator? Using script.i have rasterise the placedItem manually but when I check it through the script It shows the typename as placedItem.

Features in my software are German, so maybe some translations are not exactly what they are named in English...The issue:I want to distort objects to isometric perspective. I want NO embossed lines, no material, no pixelation. Therefore, I apply the effect 3D rotate (classic).When doing, Illustrator creates a clipping mask, so that some parts of the object are not visible. I can't edit this clipping mask without expanding appearance. This leaves me with not being able to edit the undistorted object. Expanding appearance is a workaround but not suitable. This problem occurs with every kind of object (image, text, vector graphics).  THis method worked before, so what happende here and how can I fix this?Using 3D and Materials is not an option since this rasterizes the object and affects the colours

Hi Illustrator Community, I've been using Illustrator for years and recently switched to the Beta version, which initially resolved a long-standing issue I had with the program. The problem was with the canvas movement on touchpad. In the official Illustrator release, the canvas would crash when trying to move it without pressing SPACE and dragging. The Beta version fixed this, and it's been the main reason I preferred using it. However, after updating to version 28.7 today, the issue has returned. The canvas movement is glitchy again, making it feel like I'm using an old computer. I'm on a macOS M1 2020 with 8GB RAM. This bug is incredibly frustrating and disrupts my workflow. I am a photographer i am trying to print a brochure with examples of my work however when the printer sent the file over for a proof check I could see the colours were off. I provided the file to them in PDF format (the file was made in canva which naturally creates an RGB PDF and you can't covert). I understand the gamut is more limited with CMYK which is why my files are looking this way now.  They have advised me to convert the images to CMYK by comparing their version of the brochure to my original RGB images and altering each one as needed. How do i go about doing this? Is my best bet to get into Illustrator and manually tweak each of the images and then add them back into the PDF? Should I just find another printer who can help with this more?   Many thanks 

I am trying to export two 20ft wide x 4ft tall banners for a festival. Illustrator won't export the files as the correct size! It is exporting them very very small and will look extremely fuzzy when printed.  I have one other banner 10ft wide x 4ft tall that I will also need to export. I haven't tried yet but I imagine I'll just run into the same issue. These files were created by someone else a year ago, I was just uploading some of the information on them. Obviously these files were used to successfully create and print these banners in the past. I do not understand how to make them work now. Please help, I need to order these banners today. How can I export them as the correct side?

How do I hide this annoying width/height box that appears when resizing an object?

Hi all, I need to change the opacity on my Illustrator images (some elements need to be semi-transparent). When I export my files as ai/PDF they appear great when I open them. However, if I paste those ai/PDFs to ppt or Word documents, they become pixelated and blurry after saving. Is there a solution? Please help! Thanks

Hi! I am using Adobe Illustrator 28.5 version on Macbook. I am recently facing an issue with the scroller's performance. The scroller is not working smoothly like it used to. It takes me multiple scrolls to scroll through a single artboard. It doesn't work the same how it does on Photoshop. I am unable to fix this issue.

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a way to save a PDF file with color information, specifically to write separation color names instead of the standard color bar. The typical trim and marks provide a color bar, but I need to add the actual color names in their corresponding colors. Any help is appreciated! 

What is the best way for me to smooth out the middle so that it should be less obvious that I reflected and duplicated...?

This is what pops up when I try to open up my file. I understand that this is an issue that many other people face, but I have seen countless people sending their files to others, to see if it is a problem with just their illustrator. Could i send my file to someone, in hopes to fix it? My theory is that this error is a result of not saving the file correctly, however I couldn't retrieve it in DataRecovery.
