Why aren't the new fonts which I added working properly?

Hi everyone,I'm facing a frustrating issue with Adobe Illustrator and am hoping someone here might be able to help. Every time I reopen my Adobe Illustrator file, the opacity of many elements on the page drops unexpectedly. This doesn’t happen to every single element, but it affects a significant number, and it’s really disrupting my workflow.This is particularly concerning because it’s happening with a critical client project that has an impending deadline. Here are some details about my setup:Adobe Illustrator Version: 28.5, 2024Operating System: Macbook Pro 2023, 14InchFrequency of Issue: Every time the file is reopenedSteps Taken to Resolve: Updated software, restarted computer, Has anyone else experienced this issue? I've done this a bunch of times where I make a clipping mask over a rasterized image, then rasterizing it as a whole so it takes up less memory. But for some reason today when I try to rasterize it, it crops to the original dimensions of the image?? Using this photo as an example 1. Make a clipping Mask2. Rasterized the Masked image3. Doesn't crop to the shape of the image? This is now a full raster photo with a massive border that I have to manually crop (has to be cropped for what I'm doing at work) Any ideas? Couldn't find a way to word this online or find any answers. I've played with all the Rasterize settings too

Hello, I'm new to Illustrator and this one particulat Panel - the Artwork Recolor Panel - seems to be stuck in a horizontal sliding position, even when I restart the program and change workspace preferences (like reset to Essentials...) I can move it all the way right (see 3rd picture) and all the way to the left (over to the tool bar) but it will not "let go" (undock?) from being attached at top and bottom to the artwork screen. (I think I'm using the terms right here...) There's so much I have to learn that I'm not super stressed by this, but the negative upshot is that I can't access the saturation and hue sliders or the Advanced Options button, because they are not visible on the part of the panel that is displayed. IF however, I select the panel, then *while* I'm holding the mouse button, those items become visible (see second picture) but I can't click on them because the mouse is already in a "held-down clicked state." I'm guessing it will go away at some point wi

Hi,I have opened pngs into illustrator with the purpose of recolouring them.I have done this a million times before, selecting the different parts to recolour.  For some reason now I cannot do this.  I am convinced I accidently have some sort of setting on.  Can someone advise?Normally I would use the direct selection tool to do this, making sure the object is ungrouped.  Now the ungrouped option is greyed out.Any ideas anyone?

For the past few months since one of the recent updates in Illustrator, when I export something as a png, the image is not showing up in the preview box. All that shows is an entirely transparent window. It is actually exporting fine, but I always like to see the preview when I'm in the process of creating the png. See screenshot of a file I was working on this morning. Any ideas?

Hello, complete newbie here to illustrator and indesign.Im designing a brochure in indesign for a property we have built.  Id like to put 3 acorns on the front of the brochure - but only the outlines so if i change the colour of background page etc the middle of acorns will be same colour. I have no idea where to start. I have attached a picture of the acorns id like to recreate - ive tried using this but if i make background page blue these acorns are then in a white box on the page!

I'm doing an image trace to vectorize some photos for a client. Got all my presets right and proceeded with the trace, the issue is when I try to go in and clean up some of the edges, there are no layers to edit, no achor points or anything. I can't make the 'path' editable because it essentially is as if there is no path. But it is a vector and adjusts as a vector would when minimizing or enlarging the size. What is my issue and why won't it allow me to adjust layers/paths?

Help!Just recently if I go to document setup and try to pick a different color to simulate a colored background it no longer works. I use a Microsoft Surface laptop. My coworker has a Mac and it still functions properly for her. We are on the same version 28.5.For me I go to:Document SetupI click on the top color box and switch it to black and then check "Simulate Colored Page"When I hit ok the whole canvas turns black and I can no longer see my objects.They are still there, I just can't see them at all. If I blindly click around to select objects I can see the selection outline and I if I look in the shape properties panel I can see their fill and outline colors are still correct.IF I pick a color (ex blue, purple, red...), the background changes to that color, I can see my objects but its like the background is a filter over them because the color looks like its sitting under a semi transparent red/blue/purple object.This is a real pain as I use this feature frequently.

Latest version of Illustrator (Mac)I am a long time user of Illustrator but i have never had this issue before.When i open a file I can see the layers window, etc but not the actual file.There is no window or tab for the file, just the recent files window. I can actually double click the screen and i get an isolated view but can't see anything change but the layers window.If i close Illustrator and reopen the file it shows up fine. Not a huge issue at all but just wanted to see if someone else had this problem and whether it was related to the recent files window or something else.Since updating to 22.1 last week i have all kinds of graphics card and/or display issues. The beta 22.0.2 worked great and i should have stuck with it.Any help is appreciated.Thanks.

 Trying to add a straight line here, but adding points on the path doesn't allow me to create a new line. Every point I hover over shows me a minus sign.

Hello! We have a plagin, which working with Illustrator, version 24. How Can we get installation file?

the past 3 days I've been getting a pop up message on the top of my work space shortly after I save a file for the first time. It's happened with already started files and completely new ones. It only ever shows maybe a minute or so after saving for the first time. I tried save with a different name as the messages says, restarting illustrator and restarting my mac but its still happening. Today Illustrator froze and I had to force quit and the document recovery option didn't even pop up when relaunched like it usually does after a crash/force quit. I looked and all of the data recovery options are checked in preferences.I try to save as often as possible but it's really nerve racking to work knowing that recovery isn't even an option. any help would be much appericated!  *working on an imac 2021 in illustrator 2022

when exporting as jpeg/ png non-transparent background the image is overlapping, without color (black and white) and sheer.

I have no idea of what's happening... It doesn't even give me an error message when I try to open a file from my stock library, it just doesn't open it. When I try to import the same file from the desktop it says simply "can't open file". It's very frustrating. The video shows exactly how it happens

Boa tarde, trabalho com o illustrator a anos e nunca passei por isso e nem encontrei soluções pela internet. Aconteceu hoje.O que acontece:Ao exportar um algo em svg o arquivo final traz elementos de outro projeto, que nem esta aberto,indepentende do projeto, todos os projetos que eu abro, e que eu tento exportar o svg ele traz sempre os mesmos elementos no arquivo final..ao tentar exportá-lo pela "exportacão de ativos" a mensagem "conflito de amostras" aparecee o resultado é sempre o mesmo um arquivo com os elementos do casal na mesa e cores acima, que eu nao quero.Preciso somente do icone de exclamação..ao tentar exportar como pranchetas os icone desaparecem e somente mostra uma linha...  ja tentei copiar para um novo arquivo.. ja atualizei o illustrator..ja reiniciei o computador..reinstalei o ilustrator e nada.. toda vez q eu tento exportar um arquivo svg ele traz estes elementos juntos!! quando abro o arquivo exportado ele mostra estes elementos em outra camada.. junto c

I recently updated to illustrator v28.5 and I also have a very old version V22.1 installed.sometimes I need to open the old version, and everything was fine, up until now.In the  last few days, when I try I keep getting this screen. I also tried to open via creative cloud.The help center can't assist me   

Can someone please help me with instructions to change the text in this AI file?  I just want it to make one change -  "12U" instead of "11U".   Thank you. 

Hi, I have just made a bunch of files by resaving from an open Illustrator file, you know, saving to new file name from an already open file. The thing is that the file icon / thumbnail doesn't reflect how the new image in the file looks, the preview.Is there a way to update the file icon / thumbnail, that you see in the desktop? Cheers.
