Can't save illustrator file showing blank windows

I have a problem with Illustrator. It does not recognize the video card. I tried all the options found on the forum and on the internet, but it does not work.

I open a new document, start to create and when I do a Save As, I get the spinning beach ball for about a minute. I try to Export and get the same issue. I simply try to close and get the dialog box to save as Untitled-1 and I get the same issue. I have restarted my computer multiple times and have the latest updates to my OS and Illustrator.

I created a pattern in Illustrator, when I export as a PDF a white line appears. How can i fix it?It is important to note that this also happens with the patterns I created in the past, and there was no problem with them before, the problem appeared about a month or two ago.

When I go to map the image with a symbol, it renders completely backwards (upside down, text reversed) but what's weird is that I originally did it, it worked. It's just after opening up the file after closing and saving it (even the preview image has it correct, it just doesn't load at all. It almost seems like the surface numbers are different than they were originally too).Anyone else ever have this issue or know what could be the cause?Thanks!

I opened a PDF on illustrator and saw that I don't have the fonts present in the pdf, and I can't even find them on Google. I really need them to save me a lot of work (putting all the texts in font I own).The names are CIDFont + F1 to CIDFont + F5 (ie it has f2, f3 and f4). Eu abri um PDF no illustrator e vi que eu não tenho as fontes presentes no pdf, e ainda eu não consigo sequer achar elas de jeito nenhum no Google. Preciso muito delas para me poupar um grande trabalho (o de colocar todos os textos em fontes que eu possua).Os nomes são CIDFont+F1 até CIDFont+F5 (ou seja tem o f2, f3 e f4).

I'm having an issue where Pantone Connect is stuck in this loop that I cannot move past. It was working just fine until out of the blue this survey popped up. No answer gets me past this screen and instead I'm given an error message that says "Personal Information Update Failed". (See attached screen grab) I've closed the app, restarted the computer, turned the computer fully off then back on again. I've tried uninstalling the Pantone Connect plugin AND uninstalling Illustrator, then turning my computer off then back on again, reinstalling both and I'm still stuck here.  Has anyone else come across this issue?

I turned off my laptop and didn't save my Adobe Illustrator files, then I opened Illustrator and closed AutoSave window because I thought I had everything saved. How to recover my files now? There isn't any .aid files in DataRecovery directory, only "AIDBTemp(symbols)" folders.

hi all,ive recently installed the new illustrator update, v. 28.5, and it started crashing frequently, about every few hours, though i cant pinpoint what is making it crash.Bug?

Hola, estaría necesitando ayuda. Me pasa que al exportar en png o jpg mi mesa de trabajo el archivo queda con colores mucho más saturados que los originales. No es un problema del modo de color del documento ya que estoy trabajando en RGB. Adjunto imagenes. Si a alguien le paso y me podría ayudar se lo agrdecería muchísimo.  

Hello, I have an EPS file which looks great when I open it (in RGB). However, if I try to place it in a document the colours change, almost as if I am switching it to CMYK, which I'm not. I want to place a bunch of different EPS files using a spreadsheet but the colours are not right. I have gone through all the different colour settings but nothing seems to make any difference, I cannot get the colours to line up. Any ideas? Here the left is what I want but the right is what I am getting. ☹ Many thanks.  

The Question is I have nearly about 20 artboards where by chance the number of artboards used may differ based on file.So I need to remove all the empty artboards.

I'm looking for a Find and Change solution, can anyone help?I want to find all text that matches a specific font family / format, and then change the actual text content. In this instance, I want to find all text using the font Fira Mono Regular and delete it.I would really appreciate any help! 🙂

Hello! I really need some help. I updated my adobe illustrator and now the recolor tool is not working for any of my patterns. I open the tool and click a new swatch group but the colors on the actual pattern dont change. Can someone help me with this please? I need to recolor my artwork asap for a project! Thanks! 

Hi Folks, I'm working on a JavaScript to proofread my text in the Illustrator file. here's the scenario…1) I have a Text file (.txt) that contains all the text.2) I have Finished Illustrator file with layout, graphics, text (including and excluding the text from the Text file).3) Currently, as a QC, my manual process is like this:a) Copy the text (sentence by sentence or Paragraph by Paragraph) from the Text file and search it in the Illustrator file;b) If a text is found, then move to the second Sentence or Paragraph and so on;c) If a text is not found in the Illustrator file, then paste that Sentence or Paragraph in a new Text file, and repeat process 2, until all the text is processed. I want to accomplish the same with a JavaScript, where the script will read the text from the Text file and find it in the ai file, if found, then move to the second sentence or para, if not found then copy the not-found text in a new Text file.Here's the script I'm trying to accomplish but

Illustator 2020 is not removing tmp files from server after saving file. it doesn't remove them after closing file either. folders are getting littered with tmp files. worse, if i try to delete them, sometimes finder will crash and won't relaunch again and i'll have to restart - this might be a server issue but it wasn't an issue before 2019 and 2020. it would happen once in a while in 2019 but now it happens every time on 2020. with 2019, i used to see one tmp file for the time a file remained opened, with 2020 i'm seeing multiple tmp files for the same opened file throughout the day. i tried disabling save in backgound as that had it's own drawbacks, like i would try and save again while it wasn't done saving the previous time. why are these tmp files even being saved on the server? why don't they go in the /private/tmp folder instead? wouldn't it be faster to save the tmp file to the local scratch disk and then move it to the server once, instead of writing to the ser

I cannot see why this has happened to me now, though for years I have been able to create a jpeg on a file using a clipping mask without the hidden excess outside of the mask being included in the jpeg. Now for some reason I am having large white bleed areas around the image wanted, which then need to be cropped out in photoshop and resaved to then go back and open into illustrator to add cut paths. With using this function every day at work for in our sign business, and having years worth of files I often reuse and jpeg, this is now a very time consuming issue for me to have to go back and forth between illustrator and photoshop everytime.   I understand you can use the artboard to make as cropping edges, though all my hundreds of files are not set up to do this, even a lot of the time are not on the artboard. It worked before for years for me, so am I unsure what I have done, or what has changed for this to now be a problem.  I appreciate any help on this ple

I have tried multiple Illustrator versions on both my work desktop and laptop. Whenever I edit text and click the Character window, it freezes and closes. Has anyone else run into this issue as well? 

My team works collectively and is currently working remotely. We work out of a harddrive and a personalized online database. All Illustrator work is saved to both the online database and to the harddrive. For our quality control process I batch all of the collective ai files to PDFs (this is out of the harddrive). I've noticed (since covid/remoting) that every so often a file will pause the batching process to ask whether said file should be saved before closing. I already have the "Override Action "Save" Commands" for the Destination folder checked. My guess for this issue is that not everyone (a total of 6 people) is using the same Illustrator version. I'm posting this just in case anyone else might have a different idea of what could be causing this window to show or if you agree with my guesstimation.   Thanks so much, Sabrina

I've ported over an SVG from figma and some of the elements don't show but I can see a path of an outline where the element used to be. I've tried to move the layer above all others and still nothing is revealed. Can anyone tell me why I'm seeing both a layer and path but not the element itself?
