I am trying to fix my script, but it is just not working. I attached a before and after file of what result I am seeking. "Object on path" tool has been included in the beta version of Adobe Illustrator for a few days, but it has a very strange appearance and no matter how hard I try to understand it, I really can't.Can you explain Adobe's motivation for putting such a tool in detail?

Hi there! I created a vector graphic to use on my object.  I have it placed onto 2 objects that are "inflated" (ampersand on left is 50% inflated, circle on right is 100% inflated). My artboard is 10 inches, currently viewing it at about 60%.  I am showing my render settings as I've checked anti-aliased & also increased the raster settings to 300dpi. I cannot figure out why the graphic / symbol that has been placed is pixelated. It's fully vector of course. I'll include a screenshot of the artwork I used to make my symbol. It's just some stripes with an 85% twist warp on it.  Thank you for any help you can provide!

Hi, does anyone know how to scale the corners of squares proportionally so that they appear uniform relative to their size? I have a grid pattern with many squares that should have the same rounded corners relative to their own size. 

When using export, you can select an artboard checkbox to not include elements that bleed off the page.However when using the asset export (i want to export lots of things to different resolutions and re-export after any updates), it doesn't crop, and I can't see a setting to do that. This means exporting everything one at a time, which is a real pain. I referred to this post: https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator-discussions/export-only-what-s-inside-artboard/td-p/1217653

I have a layer in Illustrator that contains 48 sub-layers. Very simply, I want to loop the sub-layers, make each visible, export it as a PNG, then make it hidden, then move on. It works great for about half of the layers and I can't find any explanation why. Some of the sub-layers have a bunch of paths, some have a <Group> with paths, some have a named group with paths (i.e. 'logo') and some have two named groups, one hidden one visible. In any case - some that appear to have the same structre export as others that export a blank image.  The visibility error report comes up empty and the visibility report, below... suggests every layer is shown then hidden correctly....  I wish I could just export for screens and assets panel, but you can't do that using the artboard and I need all images the same dimensions, so i'm really stuck. edgewater_combo - blankedgewater_logo - exportedeverglades - exportedfeadship -  blankferretti_logo - exportedferretti - b

I don't know why my edits in illustrator to artboard is not saving my edits. I really don't know how to fix this. i save it as ai and Pdf, but the changes do not show

I am experiencing pixelation issues when saving for web.  I have tried both Adobe Illustrator CC and well as Photoshop CC.  The files look crystal clear in my workspace.  As soon as I save the file and open the design is completely pixelated.  Obviously an Adobe Illustrator file should never appear pixelated, so I'm not sure what's going on. I just spoke with Adobe support and the same issue is happening when they try to repeat it.  The person I spoke with wasn't helpful...I was told, save it another way and don't use Save for Web.  This is the workflow option I use daily and have never had an issue prior.  Any suggestions as to a fix would be appreciated.  The person I spoke with on the phone indicated that they didn't plan on assisting in fixing the problem.  I'm quite frustrated to say the least.

 Does anyone know why my drop shadows are all pixelated, I've tried dpi 300+ on export and canvas, I've also ticked anti-alias in document raster effect settings... 

I created the shortcut "Ctrl+\" for the function arrange-send to current layer in order to seperate lines faster into their respective layers. However while it does send it to the current layer that's selected, all the objects shift to the left automatically. How to solve?

Hello, I want to open a SVG file (not matter what content or objects, just one line for example), that I made in another tool, Clip Studio Paint. I can open in correctly in three other vector software products I own, but Illustrator does not open the stroke values correctly. I read this in some other internet forum threads as a problem that probably Illustrator always reads the strokes in pt, not in mm, px what else. Even if I change this in the Illustrator options for the units. My question is just: is this still the case today (I have an older version of Illustrator just before CC) ?How can I tell illustrator to read a SVG correctly? Thank you.

I want to snap this line to circle to form a tangent. I went to preview mode to enable exact snapping. But I found the line is jumping up & down to desired point of a circle, when I try to snap. What is the reason for that? & How to fix it?   Snap & Preview mode

In my practice session using the Eraser tool I can't make it work.  From Help, "To erase any object on the artboard, leave all objects unselected".  That works -- until I stop the mouse drag and let go of the button.  Then the paths and fill bounce back from invisibility instantly.  GM, using Win 7 and AI cs5.

I need to batch process close to 4,000 files. When setting up actions, I am not able to apply a specific swatch color (in this case, a swatch named "PerfCutContour") to the stroke. Am I missing something here?

I have an image that I have trimmed the artboard to only include the important part, is there a way to export that as an SVG without including the full image, just what is inside the artboard? I tried Export As and Export for Screens without including bleed but it still exported the entire image.

I have World Political Map that is in pdf format and very large in size may be because of a lot of shapes in it. I have attached it with the post. When I open it in Illustrator on my computer, it gets hanged and stops working may be because I don't have strong graphic card. I just it to be placed on artboard of size 10 feet wide and 5 feet hight. If any one can do it, I will be thankful.

I don't know how else to describe this. I want to change the box stroke to the color of the logo. How do I do it? I can only change the fill of it, not the stroke.

Hi members, I'm face the problem of repetitive resizing of logo/vector images in the T-shirt design in Adobe Illustrator file every day. PROBLEM: The logo designed for the S size T-shirt will be too small when it is printed on a 2XL T-shirt. In short, I'm working on a desktop-to-print role, I need to resize the image of the T-shirt design to adapt to various T-shirt sizes, such as S,M,L,XL, 2XL and more. Despite there is fixed template and outline size for each of the print-ready file, I need to resize each design to adapt the size MANUALLY in Illustrator.  Question: Do you all have a faster way that can adapt all sizes with 1-click instantly? Or any AI solution to recommend? Thank you.  

I'm having an issue with another employee's computer. They have downloaded the files I need them to work on. I'm having them copy and paste an object with specific color swatches from one file and paste them to a template print sheet file. The swatches show up in the file when opened, but will not copy/paste over to the template file (or any new document for that matter).The other employee is using a Windows-based PC while I'm using a Mac so I'm not sure if that could be the issue. I've tried installing the Mimaki Rasterlink cutlines plugin, re-downloading the files, and making sure they are using the same version of Illustrator that I'm using. I even loaded the swatches into their Illustrator which added the correct swatches, but when I select the colors on the object that was copied over it's not the same swatches that are in the swatch panel.  It works fine on my end, but not on their computer.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
