when i open the illustrator file get closed with the notification (save the changes to the adobe illustraror document "file name" before quitting? This issue occurred twice in a row, so I considered uninstalling Illustrator and reinstalling it through Creative Cloud. But when I tried to open the Creative Cloud app, it kept loading endlessly and never started, after long time i get a notification i have attched the both Ilustraro and Creative Cloud notification. 

Bonjour,c'est la première fois que j'écris ici, je suis à bout de ressource avec mon problème...Donc, je sélectionne un objet (ou texte) dans un calque, je copie, je sélectionne autre (ou nouveau) calque et quand je fais coller, illustrator colle un nouvel objet dans le même calque d'origine.J'ai même essayé de coller dans un nouveau projet, même résultat, il colle l'objet avec le calque d'origine qui vient du projet original.J'ai désinstallé et réinstallé Illustrator et toujours le même problème.Quelqu'un a déjà vue ça?J'attends de vos nouvelles, merci pour votre temps.

When working with the Wacom pen in Illustrator, the vertical scroll bar often ‘hooks onto the pen’ and can no longer be left. You can only scroll.   You then have to try to quit the programme somehow, after a restart the work works again for a short time.   The problem is known: https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator-discussions/side-scroll-bar-not-stopping-when-supposed-to/m-p/14103647 As a solution, it was suggested to deactivate ‘Wacom’ in ‘Preferences’ under ‘Devices’. This works to the extent that the problem has disappeared - however, the pressure settings are then no longer available for the brushes.   Therefore it is not a solution. 😒   Would be great if the bug could be fixed! 🤠   Illlustrator 28.6 Windows 11 Pro Windows 11 Pro Wacom Intuos Pro L, Pro Pen 2, driver 6.4.6.2 (latest)

Hola tengo semanas de locura, al querer compartir proyectos con links al abrirlo en laptops o pc no hay problema pero en dispositivos moviles no cargan todas la mesas o si es una sola muy amplia no se visualizan, alguien tedra la solución? 

I tried to use the free version of the Pantone Connect which we all know is no good, so I had no option but to pay and upgrade.  Adobe is still showing the free plug in, how do I swap it for the paid one that should have all the good stuff.  How do I get it going in Illustrator....I am in a tight work timeline and do not have loads of time for tutorials and digging around  Thank  you for your help getting me up to speed with this!

Hallo zusammenFür meinen Kunden haben ich vor ein paar Jahren mehrere Bücher (im InDesign) mit sehr vielen verknüpften Illustrationen aus Illustrator erstellt. Damals wollte der Kunde mit drei Pantonefarben plus Schwarz arbeiten. Heute, für die Nachdrucke, soll alles in CMYK aufbereitet werden.Im InDesign ist es ja kein Problem ein Farbe zu ersetzen. Im Illustrator ist das mega komplitziert. Eventuell bin ich mit meinem Wissen irgendwo stecken geblieben und jemand von euch, kann mir einen einfachen Weg aufzeigen?Hier nochmal die «Situation»: Jede der drei Pantonefarben soll neu einem bestimmten CMYK-Wert zugewiesen werden, alle eingefärbten Flächen in den Illustrationen sollen dann den neuen CMYK-Wert bekommen. how to create round corners / edges of an image in illustrator ?I have googled a lot but everywhere I find round corners of a shape by going to "Choose Effect > Stylize > Round Corners."But I DO NOT want round corners of a shape, I have a image (jpeg), how to cut the corners and make them round ?please help

Hello,  I recently started running into an issue with the newer versions of Illustrator regarding window size when using fullscreen.  Firstly, I will describe my monitor setup.  I have three monitors.  My left most monitor is a 2k Vertical setup Monitor, the center is a 4k Landscape monitor, and the right most monitor is a HD Cintique tablet. When making the window fullscreen on my main display (the center most 4k Monitor), or rather maximized to fill the monitor (not the fullscreen feature in-app) the right side of the window extends well beyond the monitor bounds.  It does not extend into the display on the cintique, but rather is unviewable what-so-ever.  Upon trying to drag the window away to make it small again, the window shoots out across all three monitors, extending down bellow my taskbar, completely out of view, and out of bounds of my mouse.  No matter what I do, the program will not properly display the full program on my 4K moni

Hi there, I have been working on a file and recently reopened. It appeared to place something in without anything being dragged onto the screen. I had hit stop on the progress bar to which it had then reverted the entire file back to it's original version. Is there anyway to revert to the previous worked on version? I have tried to revert, undo etc. but have not had any luck. All the best,J

I have been trying for three days to resolve this issue. I have a font downloaded and installed on my computer that I'm using in an Illustrator file. When I go to save it as a PDF, everything works except the letter i for this specific font (Playfair Display). I have re-installed the font several times, updated both Illustrator and Adobe and searched for why just one specific letter in the font family won't load to no avail. suddenly, I can't move objects with the selection tool. I can use arrow keys. I can move only if I drag from the center point. very annoying!I've tried restarting, rebooting, turning various view settings on and off (outline, edges, corner widget), pasted and drawn elements, a wireless and a wired mouse.currently i'm testing by opening a new 500 x 500px document, drawing a red rectangle, selecting the Selection tool, and trying to drag the rectangle. it's the only Illustrator file open, so there's it's about as simple as it gets.i'm using Windows 10, Illustrator 23.0.1 64bit with massive 256GB RAM (so it's probably not memory related).

Move Plane to Match Object is not adequately explain, or not really explained at all in the documentation.  There is virtually zero information about it online.  When I use it, nothing happens.  I guess it is broken.  Has anyone used it?

Bonjour à la communauté,  Je recherche des tutoriels avancés pour personnaliser une typographie mais je n'en ai pas trouvé sur adobe. jai des compétences de bases mais j'aimerais passer à un autre niveau dans la personnalisation d'une typographie pour un logo pour avoir un trait plus fin puisque je n'en trouve pas dans la typographie que je souhaite. Mais je me rend compte que jai plein de choses à apprendre pour personnaliser proprement une typographie, en particulier azffiner de maniere homogene une et meme plusieurs lettres ensemble.  Dois je me tourner vers une formation payante ou ya til des tutos gratuits ? Tout conseils pour l'apprentissage en autodidacte de la creation/ modification de typo est la bienvenue.  Merci d'avance,  Louis b

Hi guys, I have to edit the menu flyers for a restaurant since a few things changed. The person who did the design sent the restaurant owners the files as AI files but unfortunately I cannot edit those files. But to keep true to the same style I need to find this one specific font because it is also used in the logo of the restaurant. But I cant find it no matter what. I even tried the Retype Method. Does anyone have any suggestions, Im in need of it!! Thanks

Hello,  for the past few weeks I have had an image alignment issue when reopening ai document Every ai file I open, the images (embedded) have all moved up and to the left. I don't know what is happening and if there is a fix, but it is in every file I open(see screen shots). The thumbnails are correct before opening, but just the ai file is doing this.  I have tried opening the files using the latest Ai, Ai Beta, on my work computer using my work adobe account, as well as my home studio computer using my personal adobe account.   Both are mac version (2024 macbook pro 16") & (2023 Mac Studio). Has this happened to anyone else? Any help would be amazing, as it is so annoying and time consuming to have to realign every image everytime I work on a file.

My files look perfect in Illustrator and when opened as PDFs in Acrobat — but once they’re printed in magazines, the colors come out dull and darker.I’ve been trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong, and I’d really appreciate any insight. I can't for the life of me figure out how to stop these insanely annoying popup 'tips' every time i select a tool i haven't used in a while. There seems to be a different way to turn these off for each product, turning some options off doesn't always work and its really starting to bug the hell out of me. In illustrator for example I've unchecked the tool tips option in preferences, but I still get these massive intrusive buggers that disrupt my workflow!I 've been using Adobe software for over a decade and i really don't need to be told how to use the crop tool.Is there a way, hacky or not, to remove all of these at once for all products??

I've noticed recently on Adobe Illustrator that I'm not able to resize an object or text box as freely as I used to. Before, I could use the Selection Tool (V) to click on the object, line up my cursor with the corner, then Shift + drag to the size I want. Now it seems like I can't resize that way anymore. I've looked around the Help articles but I'm not sure how to work around this change. I know that I can type in exact dimensions but that's not always necessary or convenient. Any help from the community would be appreciated!

Dear Adobe Illustrator Support Team,Over the past one to two weeks, I’ve started experiencing a recurring issue in Adobe Illustrator. When I reopen a saved file, the layout appears completely distorted elements are scattered across the artboard. In some cases, text boxes are separated from the text itself, appearing in entirely different positions.At first, I encountered this issue with only one file, and I assumed it might have become corrupted during the saving process. However, just yesterday I created a completely new document and a new artboard, saved it, closed Illustrator, and upon reopening it today, the same problem occurred again all elements were displaced.I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling Illustrator, hoping that would resolve the issue, but unfortunately, it persisted. Hi all, i was working last night and illustrator decided to crash, and i had not saved in quite awhile (im on mac tahoe 26.0 and illustrator 29.2.1). when i reopen, i get the recovery pop-up, but i have no idea how to access/find these files. Tutorials online say to find the .aid file in illustrator recover data in finder, and to just open that in illustrator, but that is not physcially possible. I tried copying the recovery file, and giving it an .ai file extension instead, but that wont open in illustrator either. any tips please? when i reopen the normal file (not recovered file) it just loads to my last save. I have not saved the file since adobe crashed and i lost my progress.
