Questions

My IMac which I bought in 2018 says that I need macOS 14.6.1 or later for maximum performance. Does that mean that  all my colors in my projects will be different when printed off? Do I have to buy a new Imac?   If I buy a new Imac and upload all three of my Adobe apps ( Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign) will my projects be able to have the correct colors or do I have to scan and enter all my illustrations all over again to get my correct colors in my illustrations?

Dear all,A problem was reported, and Adobe accessed my device more than four times to resolve it. Yet every day, they tell me to wait for their call between 10 and 12, but no one ever gets back to me. As shown in the video, the settings don't work, and there's no guidance provided on how to save the file in PDF format. If anyone has faced this issue, please let me know what the solution is.For your information, I have been dealing with this issue for over four months. I tested the same file, along with another file, on a second device, and both worked perfectly without any issues or complicated workarounds to save as a PDF, contrary to what the support agent suggested. This has been going on since beggining of last year and is completely destroying my workflow. I have read just about every thread on this and none of the fixes are helping. Whenever i am working in one document and need to copy from it and into another tab it only works 10% of the time. This happens with using cut as well. Cut will make it disappear from the original (so that proves the first part works) but like previously mentioned, will paste about 10% of the time.  SVG option in Preferences > File Handling and Clipboard is off Anyviewer uninstalledApp up to date Windows up to date  I have nothing else that would be conflicting with my clipboard. I'm at my wit's end and am about to leave adobe altogether 

So, I have some text I created.. then later created the geometry for the path I want it on. Is it possible to somehow 'move' that text onto the path?

Is there a way to ungroup the elements of an imported pdf in Illustrator 6? Do you have to change the settings in Adobe Acrobat first to allow the elements to import individually rather than a group? Thank you.

- Compound shape and Adobe Javascript -> Very slow, known issue?  Hello - I've just made a small Adobe Illustrator Javascript.It worked very smoothly until I added an object with a single compound shape. When I launch the script, it works.But afterwards, it's as if the script is slowing down my machine.I thought my script was the reason (a infinite loop, ...), but after a lot of research,I thought of releasing the compound shape. When I relaunched the script, everything ran smoothly and correctly. So here's my question:Is there a known problem/issue between Adobe Javascript programming and compound shapes?  Thank you...    - Dimitri  

Hi All,how can I avoid these cuts when flattening transparency in illustrator?I'm preparing artowork for print. This specific banner is a real size so they won't enlarge it but I have gotten feedback before that these lines appear on the print.Previously they dindn't appear so I thought its a glitch in the pdf viewerI think they come from these shapes that illustrator cuts the shadows and shapes intoWhat am I doing wrong?I have different layers a tif background, some opacity gradients on top of that and other solid shapes with drop shadow.Is there another way of expanding these and flattening than selecting them all and flatten image and keep transparency?If I do each layer one by one then the visuals change a lot the images become dull and shadows change in appearance.Thanks for the help in advance! 

In illustrator v 29.6.1 I'm experiencing a bug where my font weights are visually changing automatically and i can't make them show correctly. The character window shows them as being what they should be, but they're showing and exporting incorrectly. See below, the "Commitment:" is demi-bold in the first image. While making my edits, it switches to new font wieght, almost flipping the weights... 

Hola vengo a ustedes buscando una solución a mi problema pues ya he intentado de todo incluso desinstalar el programa, antes de explicarles, especificaré mis programas:Pc: Macbook air M1Perfil de color de la computadora: SRGBIllustrator: Versión 27.6.1 (la mas nueva)Photoshop: 24.3.0 (no he actualizado) El problema es el siguiente:Los colores que muestra illustrator en todo el espacio de trabajo es desaturado en comparación al color real, que para mi el color real es el que exporto y donde dicha exportación es la misma que se ve en las diferentes pantallas. Meto al juego a photoshop ya que photoshop si me da los colores iguales en su espacio de trabajo y al exportar, aqui las evidencias: La imagen de la izquierda es como se ven las imagenes en illustrator, la imagen de la derecha es como se aprecian en photoshop y esto aplica con cualquier gráfico que yo inserte en illustrator en automático los desatura, incluso si importo a illustrator de photoshop.Ej. Olá!!Não consigo trocar a cor do meu traçado. Quando tento, ele muda a cor do preenchimento...Outrossim, as amostras de cores sumiram da tela inicial, ficando apenas essa cor da imagem anexada.Já tentei alterar no Menu de biblioteca de amostras e não deu certo. Alguém pode me ajudar, por favor?

Necesito ayuda, se actualizo illustrator en mi mac y ya no me permite volver a una version anterior, podia usar hasta la version 2022, en el menu de 3 puntos ya no me da la opcion de versiones anteriores, que paso? y como podre solucionarlo? gracias 

Is this a bug of a new update or something?I can't find any way to get the rulers to move with my project artboard. They are frozen in place without any apparent option to get them in sync with the upper-left corner of the artboard - clicking and dragging from the ruler corner doesn't work, and "switch to global rulers" is disabled.Please help. Phone support was not useful since the person at the other end of the line spoke in an accent I could not understand, on a phone signal that kept cutting out. Hey Adobe: Earn your $55 a month please and provide better support. I have work to do.

Hello Community, I imported a nautical rope file from Adobe Stock and received the above error. I could still import it into Illustrator without an issue, but when I place another AI graphic inside it - it looks great onscreen, but when I export it as a JPG or PNG or try to send the AI file, ihe colors of the interior graphic  change! I tried the PS workaround & as many other things I could think of to no avail. Am I in the Twilight Zone? Even my more experienced Illustrator friend can't figure it out. It seems so simple, but... can anyone offer help on this? Thank you.

Hallo,wenn ich Ankerpunke verändere (bearbeite), mache ich das am liebsten mit der Werkzeugspitze, die man bekommt wenn man Direktauswahl A drückt.Wenn ich jetzt zB so etwas mache wie Ankerpunkt entfernen, dann bekomme ich die Werzeugspite "Füllfederhalter mit Minuszeichen". So.Und jetzt will ich aber wieder meine Werkzeugspite "Direktauswahl". Ich drücke auf A und was passiert? Nix! Die Werkzeugspitze bliebt bei "Füllfederhalter mit Minuszeichen". Das stört mich leider sehr. Was kann man machen?Vielen Dank, Roman 

Sometimes when I'm creating artwork. I enable Trimview to hide all the extra stuff but. I occasionally need to be able to show. Specific things. Even when trim view is enabled I. Would like for the ability to set a layer. That is visible during trim view. That way I can add in dimensions or notes. But still hide all the artwork stuff. Like bleed. In other things that are cluttering my file. I realize you can add a clipping mask to things and hide things more manually, but trim you is much faster. Especially when you just want to send a proof.

Does anyone know how to fix the issue of your creative cloud library going blank and staying blank after you delete an asset from it in illustrator 29.6.1?

Why is the Area calculation, when selecting an object only shown when selecting the measure tool. it should be shown in the Info Pallete any time a object is selected. also please add this infor to the document info list.

I want to type "1. " etc, to add labels to an illustration, but Illustrator keeps turning it into a numbered list and my single space after the period becomes a large gap. I can find no way to turn this off so that I can just type a single space. If I click on the numbered list button to remove the numbered list formatting, it takes the number away. Is there a way I can just have a single space after a number and a period???

Hello! This is Fatima. I produce content in Illustrator and Indesign.  I am also doing my master's degree and I am a high school teacher. So I will also use academic programs and office programs. I don't do video editing work. And I will buy a new computer. The graphics card of the computer I chose is Intel's new version Arc Graphics. I would like to get help from you on whether this graphics card supports the programs.  The features of the computer I like: 16 RAM, 1TB , Intel Arc graphics, Intel Core Ultra 7 processor 155H, Maximum Brightness: 450 nits, Color Gamut: 100% sRGB 95% Adobe RGB (typical value), 2.8K OLED Touchscreen, 14.2'' width, 120 Hz high refresh rate.

My illustrator is unbelievably slow in opening and saving file (illustrator CC2017 on windows 7). Just to open Illustrator it takes up to 5 minutes. To save a file (empty file, not a complex one) it also takes up to 5 minutes and the application going into Non Responding mode.When I remove the office printer from my Devices and printers list everything starts running smoothly and I can open and save in seconds.But of course this is not a solution, Illustrator is a graphic design software and I need to print what I design, not just stare at it on a screen.I had an adobe expert remote control my computer trying to fix the issue and all he did was make manual the printer spooler, which doesn't solve anything since when I start it the problem starts again.Is there a solution to this problem?Thanks
