Questions

I'm stuck!!! I can save adobe stock previews from the library. Once I do that and I go to import and pick it from my saved preview choices it will pop up a download box and download.And that is where it stops. The art board is blank. I've checked the layers. Nothing. Am I missing something? a step? I just purchased an iPad Pro with the M1 chip if that makes a diffference. I'm such a rookie too.   

I recently bought ipad Pro 11. What ever, I use Hand or Ipencil.Everything on screen works fine, but if I need to choose some tool from the tools with flyout option,I click/touch them, they disappear with in a sec. I can manage to be very quick to select from few tools like pencil, rectangle, etc. But its nearly impossible to select our desired color with in a second. The app is up-to-date, I tried to uninstall and install again. Not working.Ipad version: 15.1adobe illustrator version: 2.0.2

I know how to find the length of the line in the desktop version (doc info window), but I use the IPad tablet version. Is it possible to do it? Thx!

Hi everyone I'm new to the iPad illustrator I design dirt bike graphics on my iMac I make my template a clipping mask and draw into it trying to do it on my iPad and struggling making the mask ok it's just clicking in to draw 

Hello!I'm currently working on an artwork with about 100 layers on Illustrator on the Ipad which I need to export as individual png files with transparent layers.Do you have any tips on the best way to do this?At the moment I am creating individual artboards one by one, re-sizing them to fit the image and then doing an export by Export As > PNG > Background: transparent but this process is painfully slow.There has to be an easier way to do this. Maybe I need to export the AI file to Photoshop and Export all layers as PNG or something similar?Please help me and my sanity! lolThanks!

How do I create curved text in adobe illustrator on my iPad 

Hi All,  Does anyone know if illustrator on iPad can open multiple files at the same time for copy and paste like desktop ? Your help is much appreciated.  Rico 

When I export an artboard I get a little square parentheses looking thing with lines in it. What is it? If I click it it changes the picture colors or quality? Will this little symbol print when I take it to fedex? I don't know how to get rid of it. 

The app crashes every few minutes and loses whatever I've done since the last auto save. What I am using:ipad 9th genzagg pro styluspaint brush tool What I've tried:update iOS (as of this morning)deleted and redownloaded the appchecked for illustrator updates

Just updated ai on my iPad Pro and I can't draw anything. I can select tools but they don't work.Really wish Adobe would focus on what's important and stop making everything shareable and stop spending money on making commercials with pop stars. These are supposed to be tools not social media sites. I paid $1000 specifically to use ai on my iPad. This is shameful. 

Hi,since a view days, the pencel tool at the mobile app is limited to 1 pt. Drawing fine filigran lines in zoom mode is no longer possible, because the thickness of 0,15 pt  etc. , like in AI desktop version, is necessary.

Hello all. Brand new iPad Pro with M1 chip fresh out of the box. In Illustrator for the iPad I can't seem to add an image layer. From the layer tab, i press + and it only adds draw layers. No option for image layer. I've been digging around in settings and permissions on the device but no luck. I've tried uninstalling the app then rebooting the iPad and reinstalling illustrator with no luck. Anybody else had this problem?

Hello,I downloaded AI from creative cloud and noticed this extra folder on my launchpad. I tried removing it and even deleted the Adobe apps to remove this, but it doesn't seem to go. Can someone help me understand what are these and how can I get rid of this.Thanks!

I recently bought ipad pro 11 2021.adobe illustrator is upto date.when ever I open an fly out menus, they dissapear within 1 sec.they stay on if I keep holding the button, but as soon as I lift the finger pufff, they are gone. Even with this I can try to select the options from 1st level of fly out menu, but not the second level options. like selecting a color is fine, but cant change the brightness.  its really frustrating. please help

I've deleted the Illustrator on the Ipad app. Rebooted. Redownloaded the app.  I've made bluetooth forget the Apple Pencil. Re-paired it. I even did a hard reboot. Options for Apple pencil are off in Settings.In the app, my pencil and my finger cannot select anything from fly out menus because they instantly disappear.  I can sometimes blindly select something and it works, but the menu instantly disappears. I can hold the pencil tool icon and the fly out appears, but I cannot select it. Layers panel works -- meaning I can click on it and it will stay open until I click again. Properties panel worksPrecision panel worksEvery other flyout menu item does not, including the color picker and smoothing.  I can still draw, can edit. On a selected shape, I can move it, duplicated it, delete it, but opacity, stroke, layer order disappear immediately. I can, however,  lock and change layer order in Layers panel. Ipad Pro 10.5 inch.   IOS.  

As per the title...very odd. No VPN etc either, and tried setting up another account in my wife's name. Same outcome. Can anyone help?

Has this happened to anyone else? The feedback screen   appeared and you can't dismiss or click outside the dialogue box. The whole app is frozen and my work is lost. Frustrating! 

The paint brush tool has a lag on my iPad Pro 12.9". If I draw down the length of the page in about 4 seconds the line drags by about 0.4". The Pencil tool has no lag. I see no problem on Fresco, Procreate or Apple Notes. Is this being reported by any other users. The iPad is a 2015 model with Apple Pencil 1. 

I seem to be missing the '+' to add my own fonts. When looking at the tutorial it says to tap on text and the arrow to drop down fonts. The next step is to tap on the + but I seem to be missing this.

I have 2 illustrator files (lets say version 1 and version 2). If I have 10 layers on version 2 that I want to send/add to version 1, is this possible (without copy/pasting in place each individual layer?)   {Renamed by MOD}

Hello community, I am relatively new to Adobe Illustrator. I have used it a bit on my MacBook Pro and am now starting to use it on my iPad Pro Version 14.2. I am experiencing a lag when I use the paintbrush tool on my iPad that I don't experience on my laptop. It won't let me start making a new mark until the last one has smoothed out, and sometimes the previous mark vanishes for a second and then returns. This happens when I use both the Apple Pencil and my finger, so I'm thinking it's an issue with Illustrator and not the pencil.  If anybody has any insight on how to fix this, I'd very much so appreicate it! This lag is making the creating process rather jarring and it's hard to maintain a flow of any sort. Thanks!

I an unable to move files out of a folder and into another one.   I can select and drag a file INTO a folder, but once it's in a folder, selecting and dragging it to try to move it OUT of the folder/into a different folder doesn't work (it highlights and moves around, but doesn't interact with the file tree).   There is also no option to move a file in any of the three-dot menus associated with a file.   Again, this is new since the most recent update, and it's INCREDIBLY frustrating.   Help?

Hi Hannah a I'm dealing with the same thing? Can you explain? So I'm taking a procreate png and the clients wants an AI. File. when I upload the ong there is a white background / also when I export as the AI I can see the white still.. am I missing something?
