Arabic Fonts in English verison ID

Hello,

I am trying to set up a newspaper template for an Arabic client who has an English version of ID - but the bulk of the content will be typeset in Arabic by the client.

They are used to setting up the document from back to front and I can see that I can set the text boxes right to left facing but my question is::

Even after I have set up keyboard Arabic input  the downloaded Arabic fonts still come up either as boxes ( adobe Arabic system font)  or English letters are displaying with and Arabic "look"

I am thinking it may be better for them to re-install the Arabic ID version & I just design a layout with master pages and no fonts styling - they can work through that.

Is there another way?

Thanks in advance.

They need to have InDesign with Arabic support downloaded in order to control languages aspects such as text directions, dictionary, Khashidas, etc.

    Thanks Zaid,

So if that's the case, the Arabic version is already set up for right to left page set up/folio/paragraph flow?

Will they be able to use an ID template I have created for them in English version with regards to general layout - columns/images boxes etc?

    thanks in advance
