Is it possible to make a map in InDesign (or illustrator)? I would like to make an itinerary.

I would like to make an itinerary like the below map.
Simple but with a very clear overview. Do you guys know how I can create such a map?

I also have Adobe Illustrator if this is a better program for this.

For the map itself, Illustrator is a better tool than InDesign. You can also find vector maps on the Internet and customize then in Illustrator.

Of course, it is possible. Create text frames for the city names. Use the pen tool to create the lines and add arrowheads with the stroke panel. You could also do this with Illustrator, I even think (but I am not sure) that there are more arrowheads options in Illustrator.

Thanks for the quick answer! I would also really like to know if it is possible to create a map like the above in Illustrator or Indesign. I would like to create an itinirary for a boat-journey and it's not possible to make such a route in Google Maps.

Hope you could help me with this!

Well understood that I can add the city names and arrows myself.
I only need to collect the simple and clear map from somewhere.
