Navigation Arrows not working in Safari after publishing online from InDesign

Hi,

is anyone else experiencing issues when publishing online from InDesign and viewing it in Safari on a Mac? The navigation arrows are not working, clickable but nothing happens? I opened the same link in Chrome and it's working normally? Is there a Safari Bug at the moment?
Cheers,

rasmus

Hi @rasmuskaessmann ,

Thank you for reaching out. There may be a an issue in Safari causing the navigation arrows to not work. To better assist you, could you provide a sample file and link to the published online document so I can test it on my end?

In the meantime, you can try a few troubleshooting steps in Safari, such as clearing the cache and disabling any extensions that might be causing conflicts. You can also try updating Safari to the latest version, as it may have bug fixes that could resolve the issue.

Please let me know if these steps help or if you need further assistance.

Hi Rishabh,

thanks for your quick feedback on this! So i tried your troubleshooting ideas, and did find the problem! It was the "Ka-Block!" ad-block extension that was causing the problem! As soon as i disabled it and refreshed the page, the navigation arrows worked again! So thanks for your support!

One more quick question though: when activating the previews on the bottom of the page, is it somehow possible to scroll through those? There seems to be no navigation to scroll through them, other than clicking on them. But then you won't be able to reach those which are not visible on screen yet?

Best,

rasmus

Thank you for confirming the suggestions helped. Regarding your other question, would you mind sharing a screenshot of how the design looks at your end? I'll try my best to assist you with this.
