D'avance merci.

JL Giraud

Google translation: drag drop does not work in Lightroom's library module (classic). Hello, Since iMac's internal hard drive is almost full, I try to transfer my photo files to a NAS. I have read and watched a lot of tutorials that strongly recommend when you want to transfer photo files to do it from the Lightroom library module by dragging and dropping rather than doing it from the Finder (or explorer for windows ). But the drag and drop in the library module Lightroom does not work at home: the folder returns to its original location and nothing happens (no message that I try a prohibited action or anything else)! I do not see where this problem can come from? Be a buyer of any suggestion. Thanks in advance. JL Giraud

Though many do advise to use LR to move folders, those with the most experience know that there are infrequent but persistent reports that LR loses files when moving large numbers of folders and photos.  It is safer and faster to move folders using Finder or Explorer.  See this authoritative article for details: https://www.lightroomqueen.com/move-photos-another-hard-drive-leaving-catalog/
