How do I get rid of the little brush icon while editing a photo?

I love the fabulous editing tools in Lightroom Classic, being able to brush in a masked area for softly increasing or decreasing a highlighted area is beyond what I could do in Photoshop BUT, when I work on small areas there is the little 'brush icon' that shows me I am editing or 'brushing in' and area for isolation. That brush gets picked up and grabbed if I get to close to it while editing and then the entire masked area is dragged off out of alignment. Is that grabbable brush just some thing I have to work around or can it be 'dismissed' just while I am trying to bush more closely to where it is located. Screen shot shows this troublesome thing...

You can press H key to hide (or to show again ) these indicators - referred to as "edit pins". There are also options to control their display, on the Toolbar underneath the working window - press T to activate this toolbar, if it is not present).

These same methods also control display of e.g. the guidelines of a linear or radial gradient: so at times it will be useful to show such indicators - rather than only previewing the mask's result.

You can control this in the toolbar. If you don't see it, press T.

You can also press H anytime to show or hide edit pins.

Pressing Shift + H will cycle between Selected and Never.
