I had an Adobe Lightroom storage matter and a technical agent has removed all my files permanently

Hello! As I said I had a Lightroom storage issue. I was removing files for so many weeks to manage the space for new works and I always had a notification of little space to pay for more so I opened a case with the Adobe Lightroom tech team to see what was happening so the technical agent that checked the case and has suggested me to download the Adobe Remote Support program to control remotely my pc.

After an assessment he decided that the best option was to remove all the files and see if the matter continues.

At this point I told him repeatedly that I don't have any backup or copy of these files and please "Don't delete them after be very sure". He told me that everything will be ok.

I trusted him and he proceeded to remove them saying that the files will be safe at my app wich wasn't true.

After removing all the photos ( almost 800 files from 2020 to 2022) the storage matter continues with a remaining 3,9GB taking unknown space.

After that I asked how we were going to restore or recover the files again, because they weren't even at the app... At that moment something was telling me that I've lost all my last 2 years works.

 

The agent apologized countless times assuming the huge mistake he has made saying me that all the files has gone after asking me if the "Sync option" was enabled after removing them previously by himself.

 

The option was enabled. As a technical professional he should check this before all the removing process.

At first he offered me 7 days free trial, after 15 days free trial and of course this never will compensate all te time, spent money and lost money of works of the last 2 years.

 

I'm devastated. The storage matter continues and I've lost 744 files of my work for trying to solve this apparently "small thing".

He opened me a case saying me that I will receive updates or a phone call this Monday or Tuesday but it's Wednesday and I still not having any new or option for this matter. I didn't use Lightroom the last days from the last Thursday just in case.


As a client do I have any option to recover my time, my works, my money??


I hope someone qualified and with the needed empathy will check this case and help me to trust their services again.
