Hi everyone,I’ve been experiencing an ongoing issue with Adobe Lightroom Classic, currently on version 15.2. This problem has been happening for the last three updates, not just this latest one.After importing RAW files, the thumbnails do not appear in the Library module. The folder and total file count display correctly, but the preview area remains blank.The only workaround that consistently works is fully restarting Lightroom. Once I relaunch the program, all thumbnails appear normally.System details: Lightroom Classic version: 15.2 Computer: Apple M3 Pro Memory: 18GB RAM GPU acceleration: Set to Auto File type: RAW “Generate previews in parallel”: Enabled Storage: [internal SSD or external drive] This happens every time after import. Restarting fixes it temporarily, but having to do that after every import is not practical.Has anyone else experienced this over the last few updates?Is this a known issue with Apple Silicon machines?Is there a more permanent solution besid

In the attached raw image (and many other similar ones) shot from behind a window, there are evident reflections. The reflections removal tool in LrC leaves it essentially unaltered (only slightly darkened) while the corresponding tool in Camera Raw appears to do a fine job of cleaning it. The attached file is a jpeg rendition because the RAF file is too big.I am working on a iMac M4 running macOS Tahoe 26.4.1, LrC 15.3, Camera Raw 18.3Does anyone have an explanation for this? Does the case need to be brought to Adobe’s attention? 

I took a photograph of people riding on a bus, from the outside of the bus. As expected, there are window reflections on it. I tried to remove the reflections in LRC but it did not remove any of them. Moving the slider to -100 shows a black image, indicating LRC did not find reflections. I opened the same image in Camera Raw, and there the reflections were mostly removed. Moving the slider to -100 shows what Camera Raw detected as reflections. I don’t understand what is going on. my thumbnails are not loading.  I thought reloading lightroom classic would help 

Using LR Classic 13.2 on a MacBook Pro OS 13.6.4. When creating and exporting a web gallery, using the Classic Gallery template, and sizing the images, the sizes are increased by 100% when viewing in LR or a web browser (tried Chrome, Firefox, and Safari). So a 1000px image becomes 2000px, and noticeably softer in sharpness. However it doesn’t do this on my lower resolution monitor (2 monitor setup). I can move the browser window from monitor to monitor and see the image quality change. Why is this happening and how can I maintain the image size specified (is this html code I can modify)? Thanks!

When I want to skip through hundreds or thousands of photos in Lightroom Classic (Version 15.0.1) in the film strip I mostly get this very annoying problem: after holding the arrow key to the right or left for a few seconds it doesn't stop anymore to speed through the images though I'm no more holding the arrow key. Sometimes it's going on for "just" a couple of hundred further photos and sometimes even through thousands of photos until the very last photo in the strip. I can't even stop it.This first started three months ago when I updated on a new MacBook. On my old Macbook this never happened in years. Does someone got an Idea to fix this bug?

Recently (current install) when l import my NEF images they appear as grey pictures in both library & developer view, it has not done this previously, when l select an image the picture will appear and stay displayed until l select roughly the next 4th or 5th image then the previous one will go back to being greyed out. I have tried refresh of Windows 11 and reinstalled Lightroom classic but no change.2 screen shots from Library View and Develop View 

Hola, porque lightroom no me crea los archivos XMP de cada imagen pese a estar puesto que lo haga en las configuración? tampoco lo hace si presion CTROL + S, me crea los cuatro primeros archivos y luego se queda colgado… y aqui se queda sin hacer nada…  

I received a batch of DNG files from one of our freelance photographers that have small previews. I imported these into Lightroom with the expectation of being able to export a new batch of DNG files with full-size previews. However, all I can get is files with the same small previews. There are 2 reasons I need full size previews.1-We use Photo Mechanic for culling and ordering images before renaming and processing them through LR.2-Our DAM relies on extracting the JPEG embedded in the DNG files for downloading.   Am I missing a setting somewhere, or is there really no way to force LR to create a DNG file from scratch with a larger preview?Thanks, 

In the Send Book to Blurb function first the pages are rendered. Thereafter the upload takes place, during that second part the upload is very often stopped with this pop-up:Error appearing many timesThe pop-up shows very often, like dozens of time (100+ page book, 300+ images). The interval between messages does not seem to be fixed.This is the behavior of machine network while sending (between the errors):Data sent while continuingUnknown if this is normal…The progress bar does continue to go forward, so progress seems to happen between the errors. However, as too many errors are given no full book is uploaded currently.The screenshot is using a cable connection (from machine to router), using WIFI gives the same.This is behavior is observed in the LrC 15.3 and 15.2.1 and previously in early 2025 (LrC version unknown).Machine is Microsoft Surface, current version of Windows, ARM64; further info in attached file.

Issue summaryOn my Mac, Lightroom Classic 15.3 becomes unresponsive after some period of normal use. I have to Force Quit it. After that, Lightroom Classic can relaunch, but RAW files can no longer be opened properly. Does not import photo,s ...it shows a grey shape in the photos shape but does not import anything...

In LrC the date is now formatted in milliseconds (in the Dutch version dd-mm-yyyy-HH:MM:SS.msmsms) I cannot recall when this has been changed, but on 16 april this year I still had the date format in seconds on my PC. Except for the fact that it is not practical for most users, this format is neither supported in MsExcel, and thus makes the output of PlugIns like ListView difficult to use in picture data administration programs/spreadsheets.Is there a way to format the date in LrC to custom? Time goes too fast in the multimedia world of today to bother about milliseconds other than in sports.Cheers,Louis

When I’m in the develop module and clicking back and forth through photos, LRC will randomly paste the settings from a previous photo onto the next one.  Sometimes it will only change the values (exposure, WB, etc) in the basic settings on the develop panel without actually changing the photo itself.  Other times, it will change the photo as well, at which point it will say “multiple settings” in the history.  I’m only clicking through them, not applying any changes to them. I’ve also experienced it where I’ll crop one photo and then when I click to the next photo, it will show that same crop on the next photo as if I applied it when I didn’t.  When I click into the crop tool, it will show the crop but when I close the crop tool, the crop isn’t actually applied. The sync feature is not on, it happens in multiple catalogs, everything is up to date.  It’s hard to replicate and it happens randomly.  It will work for a while and then it will start glitching like this randomly.  There doesn

OM System has HR modes.  Hand held (HHHR) and tripod (THR).  HHHR uses camera movement to create a composite whereas THR is true sensor shift.  For both modes, the camera can produce a HR jpeg and a HR raw (.ORF).  It also produces a normal resolution raw tagged as .ORI.This was problematic for LrC but it appears to be resolved albeit partially.  LrC will import the jpeg, the ORF and the ORI. However, if “Copy as DNG” is specified, the normal res ORI is converted to a DGN but the HR ORF remains as an ORF.  This is strange in itself but often, not always, the thumbnail of the HR raw is tagged with “Photo is missing” and an exclamation mark.  Sometimes this crashes the app.  Attempts to read the missing file fail.

I have a reproducible issue where Lightroom Classic (15.3) does not recognize the GPU on my Mac Studio (M1 Ultra).  macOS 26.4.1 GPU shows 0.0 MB / not supported “Use GPU” is greyed out Denoise returns: “Requested adjustment is not applicable”  Important: The exact same setup works on a MacBook (same macOS, same LR version, same files). GPU is recognized and Denoise works there.  Already tried:  Reset preferences Clean reinstall Cleared Camera Raw cache Tested with single display  System reports GPU + Metal correctly (system_profiler).  → Seems Lightroom fails to detect GPU on this Mac Studio only.  Anyone seeing the same on Mac Studio?  

Adobe Lightroom Classic and Lightroom CC both freezing/turning white and showing "Not Responding" during basic use (browsing photos, editing sliders, zooming). Started on or around 28-Apr-2026. I have used Lightroom CC for 11 months, and this is the first time it has acted up this bad. sony raw files produce normaly a export file size of about 123 MB occationally 288 MB..why?the develop settings are the same also noise reduction and resolution are the sane ??? 

Everytime I quit LrC the catalog corrupts even if I do a backup. I have to go back to a previous backup from before the 15.3 upgrade to get it working again, but I loose work when this happens.Just to be clear LrC was working fine until the last update 15.3, now it corrupts the catalog every single time the progam exits, and I do a backup every single time. Once again, it was working fine before. The catlog hasn’t been moved at all. Its on the local drive. I backup everytime I exit because of the immensely fragile nature of the catalog and it seeming to corrupt if the wind changes direction.Anyone else see this? Is there a fix for this?

Hi. I’m trying to work with Lightroom Classic on two computers - a Windows PC (my main machine) and a MacBook. All my photos are stored on a Synology NAS, which I access via SMB. However, I keep separate catalogs locally on each computer.The problem is that as soon as I import into the Mac any photos that were previously imported on Windows, Lightroom on Windows becomes extremely slow to start. The next time I try to launch it, nothing happens sometimes even for up to 30 minutes. It’s a lottery, sometimes it starts in 1 minute, sometimes 15 or 30. The process appears in task manager and I can see that it heavily uses the network connection to the NAS. I can also hear the NAS drives working intensively, so Lightroom is clearly reading a lot of data.Why is this happening and how can I fix that? Why is it a problem if catalogs are separate and only source files are shared?It also has trouble reading and writing metadata to TIFF files. Sometimes it shows that metadata has been changed and

 I have tried to restore 2 different backups.It start the first time , but does not show picture when I change folder. Stays stuck when getting out saying He must save ;XMPs but I didn’t touch any picture.Refuse to restart with same problem as shown.Tried the script for permissions without success.Reports send to Adobe.Picture and XMPs visible in Bridge and Camera raw.

I believe it could be helpful and not too difficult for Adobe smart guys to create.
