Hi everyone,First of all, let me explain my setup: I’m using original and updated Windows 11, Adobe Creative Suite, with a 10th-gen i9 processor, 128GB DDR4 RAM at the maximum supported speed, a 4060ti graphics card, and an Asus ProArt 27" 4K AdobeRGB monitor. I’ve already set the monitor’s color profile on Windows correctly, using a Spyder 5 Pro calibrator. I also tried using an uncalibrated profile downloaded directly from the ASUS website, but it didn’t make a difference. So, I’m ruling out any issues with the profile or general configuration. The problem is: when I import photos into Lightroom and start making adjustments, everything seems fine, and the colors are correct. However, when I export the images in sRGB, the colors appear altered—mainly becoming more vivid and saturated—and the difference is quite noticeable. I also tried enabling the soft-proofing function, which shows some differences, but it doesn’t solve the problem.I’ve made other attempts, such as setting the camera
I am using Lightroom Classic 13.5.1 on a Macbook Pro with an M2 chip, Running Sequoia 15.0. The app is using a ridiculous amount of memory, 55+GB causing a recurring error message, "your system has run out of application memory" even when all other apps are shut down. Everything else in my activity monitor is in the MB range. I have deleted all files that were causing sync errors and have repeatedly shut down and restarted both the app and the computer with no success. The only thing that I have not done is delete sync error files permanently. They are still in the deleted folder in LR online. Hoping you can help resolve this issue. I use the filmstrip when I am copying and pasting the same changes to a lot of photos and use the filmstrip to check what I have done. Sadly a few updates ago, some of the filmstrip images now show completely different colours/settings to the edited photo. Often the filmstrip changes colours'settings when I click on the main photo, and sometimes it doesn't. This does not happen for all photos just a lot of them. It's really annoying. Is it something I am doing or a bug? I keep LR Classic updated to the latest version. This never used to be a problem but started a few updates ago,. I am attempting to build a timelapse sequence from a night shoot. The images were all take at the same settings and although the aurora changes it's not enough to throw out the settings. TYIA
Hi, When I use a mask since the update I have to regenerate it every time I copy or re-view it. Is there a problem with my installation or is this a general problem? Same with delete generate
I am using Lightroom Classic 10.3I did right click on Edit In and all the tool in the sub-menu are grayed out.Anyone help me? I am very appreaciate it I was able to edit before. Thanks
I've searched the internet along with Adobe's forums; I'm curious to see if anyone else is experiencing this issue. Over the past 2 weeks, my computer has been crashing primarily when I am using LR Classic (I receive a blue screen). I am using an Alienware Aurora 16. After updating the BIOS and still receiving the error, I reached out to Dell. They sent a tech out to replace the Intel processor (13th and 14th gen were known to be faulty). Things were going great until I used LR again and, in particular, some of the LR profiles downloaded from a company called Archetype Process. I can't say for certain that LR is the culprit or simply a coincidence. [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]
I have approx 36K photos which are all in Lightroom classic on a local drive and synced via a collection into the cloud & lightroom mobile. My workflow is mainly importing directly in LR classic , but as well shooting on the mobile or import into mobile. After sync back to lightroom classic I “move” the files inside lightroom from the syc to mobile folder into a folder on the local disk and as well delete the photos in “synced photos” to remove the original from the cloud. After that I sync the collection to have a access to the file via cloud. with this workflow (have all originals local , and sync all photos into the cloud) I wonder why I have these 2 very big files: bhirsch LR 11-v13-3 Sync.lrdata with 10GB (should be my cloud sync file for the 36K photos ? )Mobile Downloads.lrdata with 5GB ( should be the file for all originals from the cloud) But as I move all files imported via could after showing up in LR classic to a local folder .. why i
When I open in LrC the menu point "Photo" - "Edit in Adobe Photoshop 24" the Photoshop will start and opens the file. However I cannot edit in PS the file, everything is blocked and I cannot choose any tools. The picture is distorted (see attachment) But everything works perfectly when I open Photoshop BEFORE opening LrC.Has anybody an idea how I can eliminate this "annoing" behaviour? The issue is not new - it occurs since years and different PS and LrC versions. Thanks for any help.Andreasmy system: Win 11 Pro latest version, 32 GB RAM, Intel I7-9700 K CPU, Nividia RTX 3060 12 GB - a change of the GPU was unseccussful for this issue
Hello, Lightroom Classic is running extremely slow after updating to the latest version on windows 10. The problem started after the 13.0 update and is still remaining after the 13.01 update. Scrolling images in Grid-view in Library is not a big issue but if you click on an image it takes about 6 minutes for the caption data to show up and instead of showing the keywords for that image it says "working...". At the same time the labels (with info like filename, file format) in the expanded cells are gone. Another problem is importing images which takes hours instead of minutes. Is there anyone else having these issues and have any idea what to do? The graphics drivers are updated, I have purged the caches and optimized the catalog. Everything was working fine before the 13.0 update. /Erik Svensson
Lightroom Clasic does not show any preview of my imported photos anymore since the Update to MAC OS Sequoia 15.0.1. Using a Macbook Pro from 2020 with Intel Core I5. Any settings I would have needed to change ? With this Bug Lightroom Classic is not usable at all !!! [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]
Lightroom Classic 12.3Windows 11NVidia GeForce GTX 1650 (driver version 531.61) (Also doesn't work with driver 528.49) I have a number of DNGs shot on my Samsung Galaxy S23, and others DNGs shot on my Samsung Galaxy S22. The DeNoise feature works on the S22 DNGs, but I can't use it on the S23 DNGs as the DeNoise button never becomes active. I am thinking there may be a camera setting that may influence this, or somehow this is a bug in Adobe DeNoise, or somehow Samsung has changed their DNGs with the S23. I don't really have a clue how to figure this out. Any explanation or suggestions?DeNoise works properly on NEF files from my Nikon camerasI have placed two sample DNGs on Dropbox.S22: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1uxg6d93if5gav0/S22_20220705_184931%20%281%29.dng?dl=0S23: https://www.dropbox.com/s/a5rcdt13jz8s4gv/S23_0230423_174343.dng?dl=0
Mac OS Sonoma 14.6.1Where is the selection button for "import subfolders" in LR 13.5.1?
New problem crept up since yesterday (2/23/23): Upon opening the Import dialog, Lightroom Classic shows folders under Source but no files whatsoever, not on my harddrive, not on my external drives. Yes, there are image files in those folders but none appear. Intel Mac 2015, OS is Monterey 12.6.3. Checked Mac system preferences/Security & Privacy/Full Disk Access shows Adobe Lightroom Class has full disk access. I upgraded Lightroom Classic from 12.1 to 12.2 but the problem remains. Did an Uninstall then a re-install through the Creative Cloud app. Reboot computer and application. No joy. I can export to my drives, so it would seem that it is just the Import module that is broken.
When I am in LR Classic I cannot find the top bar with my minimize, maximize and close tabs. Any suggestions on how to get them back. We are running Win 10
Trying to import from memory card to LR. 4000 images on card from a weekend shoot. All large 45 mb files from Canon R5. Not had this issue before. Not doing anything diffently than my normal workflow. Select my folder and have Copy set as my import option as I always do but after hitting the Import icon the screen just says importing images but nothing happens. Progress bar sits at 0%. I've left it for a good hr and still nothing.
Hi i seem to have 100's of backups now on my machine as i have never delted these. Am i correct in thinking i only really need the last one? all edits previously made, colour coding and star rating tc will be catptured in that last one? Also there is a larger file that saves at the same time although it saves in a diffeent folder quite a large one i suspect i need to keep this?
After transferring lightroom to a new computer, I get and exclamation mark on the thumbnail of all my photos. When I click on the exclamation mark a confirm dialog box appears showing:“There was an unknown error while writing metadata to this photo”.And two options: Import Settings from Disk and Retry Metadata Export. If I click on “import setting from disk”.All this does is change the Metadata status from “unknown” to “Up to date” in the Metadata panel. But in doing this it also removes the info from my metadata preset with my contact information and the import preset setting and the adjustments from the develop module. If I click on “Retry metadata export”. Doing this updates the Metadata status to “Up to date”, and although it does not alter any setting, it does create an xmp sidecar file, which I don’t want. How can I remove this annoying warning on all my files without changing any of my other settings, such as develop, import presets and not have to change every folder and file in i
I want to add the year from metadata to my copyright watermark. How do insert the metadata tag to accomplish this? LR Classic 14.0 {Moved from Lightroom Cloud to Lightroom Classic Forum by Moderator}
Incorporating photos and their edits into a new catalog by using the 'export as a catalog' command after having to roll back. We have had multiple issues with LR Classic v13 - see my previous posts: Thumbnails not reflecting edits; History panel blank for photos which have been edited.https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/thumbnails-not-reflecting-edits-history-panel-blank-for-photos-which-have-been-edited/m-p/14913907/page/2#M382162 Reverting to v12.5.2 from v13.5.1 because of issues with v13https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/reverting-to-v12-5-2-from-v13-5-1-because-of-issues-with-v13/m-p/14913901 We were fortunate that we had a backup of v12, which we successfully updated to v13.5.1. As that backup was dated 30 August 2023 (none of our v13 backups worked) it did not include the last 13 months of photos and work done on them. No help received here re my second post (I do realise how busy you ar
Hi --- I am using 13.5.1 on my Mac Mini M1 with a 1 TB SSD. The available space on the drive decreased from 400 GB to 100 GB quickly. I recall having the same issue about a year ago. Possibly related to a Forced Quit of LR which created a very large backup file on the SSD. I was able to delete the backup. I realize this may not be enough info for a diagnosis. Please let me know what additional detail is needed to find a solution. Thanks!
Just updated to LRC 14.0 and wanted to test Apple DNG denoise, something I've been waiting for for so long. And immediately noticed a color shift, well visible in this screenshot (I hope). Sky in the left (original) photo has more blue tones, denoised version is more grey.
Please add Generative Fill and AI Denoise/Sharpening to LRc as soon as possible.....even as previews! I had been anticipating these, particularly the sharpening and no need for DNG file and was disappointed when I didn't see in the LRc announcements. This is GREAT!!! Can't wait.
LrC 14 introduces an option to display HDR edits with the dual monitor view. However, if the 2nd monitor does not support HDR, Lightroom will display the HDR version anyway and rely on the OS to handle it, rather than displaying the built-in SDR downconversion. This often results in substantial clipping and color shifting, and is also somewhat useless since this isn't a representation a viewer/client would ever see in most cases. Disabling HDR in library will make the 2nd monitor properly display Lightroom's SDR conversion, but now you can't view HDR in the library on your HDR-capable main monitor! Ideally, Lightroom Classic should be able to detect that HDR is only enabled on the primary monitor and display the built-in SDR conversion on the 2nd monitor view System details: Win 10 24H2, Nvidia RTX 3080 10GB, driver v565.90
