I have selected multiple photos in the library module and try to apply a caption to all of them but only the ‘most’ selected gets the caption. I believe this previously worked fine. Lightroom Classic 15.3 (most recent build), camera raw 18.3. Images from Nikon Zf. I have shown the steps in the attachment.   

Would like to support desqueezing photos shot with anamorphic lenses on both LR and LR Classic.

I just updated my lightroom classic app and lost all of my photos that I have uploaded. Not all of them were saved to my hard drive. I am incredibly upset and have no clue what to do. I was paid for this photoshoot.

Description of Issue:Plugin floating dialogs created via LrDialogs.presentFloatingDialog on Windows starting in LR Classic 15.2 are forced to stay on top, overlapping content. After the dialog opens, clicking on Lightroom's main window (or any other application) no longer brings the clicked window visually to front — the floating dialog stays at the top of the z-order until explicitly dismissed. This even applies if Lightroom loses focus, for example if the user clicks the task bar to focus another application.Clicks themselves DO pass through to LR's main window (folder navigation, filmstrip selection, etc. all work), so the API's documented intent of "interact with LR's main window" is technically satisfied. Greetings,I have used Lightroom Classic and Photoshop before that for a very long time.  So for years I used my i1Pro2 meter and i1Profiler software to calibrate and generate icc profiles for my windows PC’s. I hope this is the right place to post this question on the forums.    Now I have a shiny new Asus OLED PA32UCDM ProArt monitor.  Although this is Calman factory calibrated, I am doing a “check” hardware calibration of this new monitor in wide gamut mode with a new meter and Calman software. It will write to the monitor LUT, however it does not generate an icc profile to install in windows.From my recollection, since I am using the ProPhoto colorspace in Lightroom and Photoshop, it utilizes the icc profile to translate the colorspace requested to the current state and capabilities of the monitor.After I do my hardware calibration the monitor will be very well calibrated.  But it will be running with the default installed icc that does not really know the current status of the cali

I edit a photo, go back to Library grid, open another file for editing, when I enter Develop module loupe view what appears to be a double exposure appears. Problem is resolved by quitting LR and reopening, but returns after a few additional edits. Mac M2 Mini with Graphics Processor ON; Sequoia 15.6.1 

About 1/20 times when I go from one photo to the next when scrolling in edit view by pressing the right arrow key, the photo I scroll to turns sideways. It seems like it may be applying the orientation from the previous photo to the next. I’ve also seen lags or failures to display copy/pasted edits, which feels related. I’ll copy/paste and nothing happens, then scroll to the next photo and return back to the first and the edits are visible. There seems to be something happening with scrolling that is affecting rendering and edit decisions. This is on a MacBook Pro M4 Max with Lightroom 9.3. I’ve got raw files from a Fuji X-Pro3 and a Ricoh GR IIIx loaded, and I’m applying the same preset to both, then making my edits.

I have used Lightroom Classic for nearly 20 years and have a large catalog (about 70,000 images).  As you would expect, I’ve also spent countless hours organizing the photos, editing and assigning keywords.A few months ago, I suddenly began to experience a new problem.  Suddenly, the “Exif and IPTC” fields on the right side of my screen were all blank (no keywords visible, no location info, no copyright info, etc.).  The small “spinning wheel” could be seen but it never stopped spinning.I searched these forums extensively and also many other sites.  There were recommendations that included resetting preferences, deleting the metadata helper file, and more.  Ultimately, nothing has fixed the problem.I note that deleting the metadata helper.db file does help for a short period.  In order words, if I delete it and then start Lightroom Classic, the IPTC and EXIF data reappears, however, after anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes, it disappears again and the spinning wheel returns.In addition, eve

I am trying to erase  a  line using the eraser tool I draw a line  when complete the  the line and release the mouse button the highlighted mask changes and shows other areas In the picture I draw  one stroke form the start of  the white trail to the and after i release the button the mask changes in to the below result . the problem is constantly repeated  After that I tried some random strokes in different places  I get always  the left bottom highlight   

Since the latest Lightroom Classic update, I’m experiencing a serious issue with importing exported JPEG files.Workflow: I work with DNG files in a shared workflow (catalog opened locally after being edited remotely). I export JPEG files (same filename as the DNG, e.g. IMG_1234.DNG → IMG_1234.jpg) into the same folder. I try to import or synchronize that folder to include the JPEGs in the catalog. Issue: Lightroom does NOT detect the JPEG files when synchronizing the folder. In the Import dialog, even when selecting “All Photographs”, the JPEGs do NOT appear. The option “Don’t import suspected duplicates” is disabled. Dragging the JPEG files directly into Lightroom also does NOT import them. The files are visible in Finder and are valid JPEGs. Additional observations: This did NOT happen in previous versions of Lightroom Classic. It happens consistently across multiple folders. Renaming the JPEG files (e.g. adding a suffix) makes them importable again. Exporting JPEGs

Since the latest Lightroom Classic update, I’m experiencing a bug when exporting files.Workflow:1. Open catalog with DNG files edited by a collaborator2. Save metadata (Cmd/Ctrl + S)3. Export JPEGs in high resolution to the same folder4. Use “Export → Format: Original” to copy those JPEGs to a new external folder (not added to catalog)Issue:In this last step, Lightroom randomly generates .acr sidecar files for some images in the destination folder.Important:- This did NOT happen before the update- Source folder does NOT contain any .acr files- It only happens when using “Format: Original”- It does NOT happen when exporting JPEG normally (low resolution or re-encoded)- It only affects some files, not allThis seems related to metadata writing or sidecar handling.System:- Lightroom Classic version: 15.3- OS: Mac 26.3.1 (25D2128)

LR V15.2 hangs in denoise after several images were processed. That suggests a memory leak or a resource starvation, deadlock or any similar issue. LR hangs than, ignores the “cancel” button. When I click on the window [x] the window closes, but LR is still non responsive. When I try to terminate it, it hangs. Using Task Manager “kill process” stops LR finally.  After a restart the previously hanging image processes fine and fast. I am using W11 Pro on a Dell Xeon workstation with 48G RAM and the LR and its cache are on a NVMe drive. When it works, the denoise (and also the AI object removal or marking) are wonderful and they clearly improve the quality of work on our photography. 

I was simply trying to remove one old folder of images that no longer existed. Shockingly, my entire catalog of photographs vanished!I need to restore from the latest backup, which was yesterday. I need guidance to do this, lest I do further damage. Help will be much appreciated!For now I am shutting LRC down until I know how to proceed.

Good morning! I'm trying to auto straighten a bunch of photos, something I haven't had issues with in the past. I select my images, select 'auto sync', go to the crop tool and hit Auto to straighten. All of my images look like they've had an adjustment made (or LR thinks they have) but if I go back into the image and hit the auto straighten, more adjustments are made. This is frustrating as this used to work, so I don't think it's my technique. Any ideas on how I can make this functional again? Anyone else having this issue? TIA.

I haven’t had any issues using LRC. Just tried to log in and get this error message  

I already subscribe to the plan Creative Cloud Pro but the 100GB of storage for Lightroom Classic is not enough. Knowing there exists a plan for 1TB storage as a stand-alone, I’d like to be able to pay a bit more on top of my plan to get that 1TB storage.I can’t simply swap my current plan for Lightroom Classic 1TB plan because then I’d lose access to the other apps I still use.What’s the solution here? The website and AI agents as well as the human support team hasn’t been able to present me a solution.

Then I apply AI denoise, in LR Classic 15.3 it does it in the background which I really like, however once I apply it to let’s say 100 pictures, and start editing the ones that already editable, it is stopping at the last few images. It is toally random where it is stopping but all the AI denoise remains in a stuck position and I can’t edit those photos unless I restart LR Classic. Sometimes these are images that already have some AI denoise on them, I just don’t bother to select the ones that doesn’t have it, so I paste the settings to all. And usually it is stuck it one point of the process.It only goes through the process if I don’t start editing any other photos, just wait for the whole process to finish. Lightroom Classic version 15.3Mac OS Sequoia 15.7.5Maxed out M1 Max MacBook Pro with Apple Studio Display 5K.

I have created and saved an 88 page photo book in the Book Module.  Layout is Standard Landscape.  Paper is Standard.  At various points during the process, soft cover options were available in the dropdown menu for covers.  At several points I changed the paper and cover types to see how it would change pricing and everything worked fine.  At some point, the soft cover options disappeared and I was left with only with the two hardcover options in the dropdown menu (see screenshot).  I’ve tried restarting multiple times.  I also created a duplicate book and the issue remained the same in the duplicate.  I contacted Blurb and they confirmed that soft cover options should appear for this book based on paper, layout, and number of pages. Any suggestions?  I’ve put tens of hours into creating this book so I don’t want to do anything that would risk losing my work. Thanks!Misha

Develop Loupe View is slow to load one image to the next, particularly when try to flash back and forth between a group of sync’d images. Advancing through the sync’d images gets bogged down and won’t load images properly. This happens even after 1:1 previews have been created. I just updated Lightroom Classic and I just finished an edit. As I try to export I’m getting a dialog warning that AI Updates Required. What the heck is that all about? What am I supposed to do? I just edited the photos, and they are exactly as I want them. I don’t want anything “updating” or changing what I just spent hours editing. This is lunacy. Why am I getting this and what to do about it? Do I need to update to keep my photos as they are? Or will updating change them into something different, ruining the batch? This is terrible.  

When I start Denoise, instead of pop-u showing the progress the entire right side panel is grade out and a test says : An AI process is running on the photo. Editing is temporarily disabled.” Ok, There is a problem: A popup is the standard established way of visually indicate a process i progress. The ways this new bizarre way indicates the process is confusing. Sometimes the images flickers, making an optical indication I am Done , I click on something, but there is no response to anything because the process is in progress. Please stop the foolishness.  An example, a 45min running “dead process” on a 24 Mpix file: Even a sniping tool of Windows often hangs when Lightroom runs. The top apre aof the image shows a black background panel, which than disappears. and we cannot even make screens hot, because the entire windows hangs than hopelessly.  An example:Forever hanging, never finishing. A 20Mpix, small by present times. 

Hello, I’m facing since a few days a strange behavior with Lightroom classic. When inserting the card in my Mac, non images are displayed in the import window. Nevertheless, it’s possible to see them in the Finder (both jpeg & raw)My current configuration is Mac Studio M2 Max, Tahoe 26.3.1 & LRC 15.3 Using the same card & card reader with my Wx computer & LRC 15.2 does not bring any issue. Images are present to be imported.(I just tried to remove / install LRC on the Mac keeping the profile and it provides the same result) Any idea  ? Thanks

Lr Classic 15.0.1 macOS 26.1   Steps: 1: Enter Develop mode for Photo A 2: Click Copy... to copy settings 3: Select all settings.... but uncheck Crop 4: Go to Photo B and paste settings (if prompted select either Merge or Replace... it doesn't affect reproducibility)   Results: I see the crop was applied to Photo B even though crop was not selected when pasting. I didn't test this for other combinations of settings but perhaps others here might have other occurences of their own.

When I click on some of the masking tools such as sky or background, LR appears to start working on it, blue circle spins, but then it just stops and doesn’t mask anything. Brush masking seems to be OK. I have updated my Graphics drivers to latest version as well (NVidia GeForce 2070 Super) but this hasn’t made a difference. Sometimes, restarting LRC will sort it, other times, I have to fully reboot my PC. This has never been an issue before prior to installing latest LRC. Happens quite frequently. Thanks.
