Hallo!Ich habe rund 50 Dia-Magazine/1000 Dia-Fotos "halbwegs" professionell (Nikon Z6 + Micro-Nikkor - JJC Diavorsatz) aus den 80er-Jahren digitalisiert. 90% der Dias wurden mit Kodachrome 64, einige mit Ektachrome 100/200 fotografiert.Der Kodachrome 64 hatte den Ruf, extrem scharf, aber auch sehr "hart" zu sein. Das merkt man auch in LrC. Die digitalisierten Dias wirken in LrC zwar sehr scharf, aber vor allem in den dunklen Bildbereichen keinerlei Zeichnung und Details und alles sehr kalt. Dunkle Hemden/Jacken, braune Haare usw. sind nahezu schwarz. Viele Fotos wirken, als ob sie mit Blitz aufgenommen wurden.Im Internet habe ich LrC-Presets gefunden, die aus "normalen" digitalen Fotos den "Kodachrome"-Effekt erzeugen.Meine Frage: Gibt es auch Presets/Filter für LrC, die aus Kodachrome-Fotos ausgewogene Fotos erzeugen, die eher dem heutigen Standard entsprechen. Der automatische Weißabgleich in LrC liefert bei den Kodachrome Fotos keine zufriedenstellenden Ergebnisse.Vielen Dank im Vor

- After a shoot my assistant copies all JPG duplicates of the shoot to her computer.- I copy all the RAW versions to my computer which has LrC installed.My assistant goes through JPG versions and selects good shots. She cannot open RAW files in her computer, only JPG. Then she copies the selected JPG files and gives me. I take it to to my computer which has LrC. Is there a way to cull the RAW files of the selection to import to LrC? She used to convert all RAW to DNG so that she can see and select in her computer but trying to avoid that step.

I used to be able to select one or more 'rejected' photos and right click or hit the delete button and get a pop up asking if I also wanted to delete from disk.  No longer for the past few months.  I'm not in any collections.  I'm in the file folder.  Hitting Ctrl-Backspace only removes from LR.  The file still exists on the external hard drive. Running LR Classic 13.2 on s PC Lightroom Classic version: 13.2 [ 202402141005-bf1aeb84 ]Operating system: Windows 11 - Home Premium EditionVersion: 11.0.22621Built-in memory: 16169.4 MB

I have to re-load Light room 5 as my previosu Mac died and when I tried to reload from Adobe I found the installer was no longer avaialable.  Any thoughts???

I got this problem.I am using Lightroom Classic since years, now I have the last version 13.1 on MackBook Pro M1 14" MacOS Sonoma 14.4.1I have a Canon Pro 2100 PlotterMy problem is when I try to print from Lightroom Print ModuleIn the Lightroom Print module I change the Print Settings (on the left side next to the Page Setup)> Printer Setting > Printer Options:Quality & Media:Media Type: I set the right media paper loaded on plotterPaper Source: roll or cut sheet (the one is loaded)Print Quality: highestclick OK, then Save But if I go back into Printer Settings, Everything just go back to default options.the only way to print correct so far, was to save to a new preset ... but it works ony for that specific print, then everything just go back to default.If I print from Photoshop, at the moment, 2 was correctI have to use the Canon Print software, but i notice that print directly from lightroom classic, straight from the RAW file, is a little bit better cosindering

I used to be able to select a missing photo and find it (using the menu option if I recall correctly or clicking on the missing photo indicator).  Clicking on the missing photo indicator no longer works.  I tried the menu item "Find all missing photos" which brought up like 12K of photos.  Still nothing works trying to 'find' it so LR recognizes it.  I feel like Adobe is making changes to functions that worked in the past but don't work now. Running LR Classic 13.2 on a PCLightroom Classic version: 13.2 [ 202402141005-bf1aeb84 ]Operating system: Windows 11 - Home Premium EditionVersion: 11.0.22621Built-in memory: 16169.4 MB

I have noticed that LRC on macOS has started automatically replacing the photo date/time ("Metadata Date") to the current date/time as I edit, crop, add GPS or keyword. Most are JPEG but not all. This is just since the latest version of LRC 13.2. These are scans of older photos so I'm evendtually adding metadata and new dates but LR changing the dates everytime I add a keyword is making a mess. I have been doing this for years so I know this is not typical, possibly a bug? Here is a screenshot of a photo and metadata as it was after I scanned it but before I added a keyword with the "Metadata Date 1/6/24" which is the date it was imported.Here it is after, with the new "Metadata Date 5/7/24".  I did not change the date. LR instantly replaced it with the time of the edits.To verify this as unexpected behavior, I created a new cataloge with the same group of scans and tried the same edits in an older version of LRC (13.0.2). The results were as expected: the dates were unchange

My Lightroom Classic keeps crashing when I am changing from one picture to another picture or when I alter the develop/editing settings. I cannot really find any kind of pattern when it exactly does so, but it does so regularly that I cannot work properly.I hoped it might be solved when the 13.0.1 was released, but didnt.Now - I think - I found out that it might have something to do with the catalogue, as I opened another catalogue and I can work without any issues there.Is there a way to repair the catalogue or is this issue already known? Is there a way to import/export keywords?  It would be good to fix spelling errors and make updates.  It would be cool to use this to create bird "life list"

Hi, I'm a photographer/graphic designer who grew up with photoshop in the 90s.I use Bridge to quick batch preview and cull images when I first download from the camera to my PC.I star-rate the images, I sometimes colour flag them, delete dudds, and I add copyright and other caption info for that particular job/project. This is for all image files, both Jpeg & RAW. Lightroom adjustments are awesome.One problem I have is when I import those images into Lightroom Classic the metadata does not accompany them.I have to select them all, right click select Metadata/Read Metagata from File to at least bring the star ratings across. Colour flags come across as different colours.?!? I recently imported images & promptly began editing them, applying presets and fine tune adjusting them. After many edits (250+) I realised there were no stars showing. I hadn't "read metadata from file".I wanted those STARS but when I proceeded to "read metadata from file" it removed all the editin

There are previous posts from a few years ago. But never seemed to have been resolved. I'm trying to import 20 photos and it keps hanging trying to ask if i want to quite or wait. its 10 minutues between each refresh where i get a chance at 1 click. Its a joke!!I've tried disabling rtx card.tried using card reader, direct from camera all of the solutions that are avialble to try on the internet but I don't knwo what happened as it used to be a breeze working with it. Anyone help at all?!

Hola!Actualicé mi compu al sistema Ventura 13.6.6,  a raiz de eso, no me importar fotos nuevas. Tengo el programa bajado del CD, año 2017, Lightroom 6.  El programa enciende y las fotos de los catalogos que ya estaban las puedo exportar sin problema, lo que no me deja es importar nuevas,  alguien sabría qué puedo hacer?y muchas gracias

Hi there, just installed Sonama and now all photos are missing in lightoom. When I click to locate them, there is a pop up message that the metadata has changed in lightoom.....unsure how to proceed. Any help appreciated (all photos are always imported and stored on external harddrive for a little background)

Hey all, I want to save several photos taken from my Lr phone app and migrate to LrC with the porpuse of saving them in an external HD folder. I have created an album from Lr and appears in the LrC "From Lr mobile" shared collections. Nonetheless, all these imported photos fail to be displayed. Instead, a message "File could not be found" appears. It asks whether to locate the picture from ~/Pictures/Lightroom/Mobile Downloads.lrdata/ ---Impossible to locate them. I know they are preciselly not located in my HD, but elsewhere in the Adobe Cloud. I tried around and download the original image, which is possible. Then locate that "suppoused" missing file from LrC and works. However, this pathway makes no sense and becomes unfeasible as the number of photos increase. Can you help out to undestand what is happening? My heart says it is locally stored on my phone device and there is an existing copy on the Adobe Cloud. I wonder why LrC has problems retriving these original picture

I have tens of photos to be edited manually and I'm struggling to do so because the previews I see in the Develop tab are not updated with the development settings of each photo. When I select a photo, it takes about 5 to 10 seconds to load the image and at that point, the preview is getting updated according to the image settings. I'm not arguing about the time it takes to load the images because it can be due to my low-performing laptop, but the fact that when I select the next image, the previous image's preview turns back to incorrect settings, making it difficult to spot the differences between the photos.Checking other threads around this, some person blames a syncing issue when Dehaze is being used.I recorded my screen to show the issue when I'm switching between two images:https://imgur.com/lFQqIke I'm running the latest version of Lightroom Classic (13.2) and I have an Acer A515-54GProcessor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10510U CPU @ 1.80GHz 2.30 GHzRAM  16.0 GBNVIDIA GeForce

Hallo Zusammen, ich habe ein neues Laptop und dort Lightroom classic installiert. Auf dem alten habe ich alles deinstalliert. Nun werden mir aber meine Presets nicht mehr angezeigt. HiI've almost completed a book in Lightroom Classic and somehow have added an additional front/back cover page halfway through the pages which I can't remove?  Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be very welcome!

hola espero puedan ayudarme cuando intento importar alguna foto en raw a lightroom en la vista previa se ven los colores planos(como deben ser) pero a la hora de darle a la pestaña revelar estos cambian, en algunas fotos casi no haya mucho cambio pero en otras literal me quema los blancos y las altas luces y no entiendo el porque

I have imported a number of photos from the Hard Drive of my Mac. When I view the photo before import - it correctly paints up (IMG_1816) But after import - in both the library and the develop module, half of the photo has purple "information" that I cannot clear (IMG_1816). I have tried to save the photo with 1:1 previews or standard sized previews and it makes no difference. All other photos in the folder (or from the SD card) have loaded correctly. I can see the photo correclty in Mac previews or in NX Studio. 

Hello - I uploaded and edited some photos this evening and in doing so, I noticed the sync icon with the 2 arrows is missing from collections. Does anyone know what that's about? Any photos added to a collection are not syncing to mobile. Can't figure out the issue. Additionally, when I create a new collection, the sync option is missing for that when creating the collection initially. The green checkmark at the upper right says syncing complete but new photos are not syncing over.

I have a large image I am planning to print (it's about 40" x 40"). I want to print out small test strips (~ 2" x 10") cropped from within the photo to compare different color settings, sharpness, etc. I'm able to create a custom print template in LR, but whenever I add the images to the template, LR scales them down to fit the template. I don't want them to be scaled so I can see exactly how the details will look when printed at full resolution.Does anyone have a solution to this?

I have a lot of catalogs, mostly with the catalog, previews and photos on USB drives. Since the most recent upgrade to LrC (v10), I'm constantly having LR crash with the error saying Lightroom encountered an error reading from its preview cache and needs to quit. I have tried deleting the preview cache folder but the errors still happen as preview files are generated. The only catalogs that I don't have a problem with are on my C: drive. I've been using LR for a long time through multiple updates and never had a problem like this. Some catalogs have a few thousand photos other have in excess of 50,000. There are six different USB drives, so it isn't like one just went bad.

Hi Folks, I've read through the tips and tutorials and can't seem to come up with an answer to this specific issue. When I try to edit an image in PS after applying Basic >HDR, I am unable to edit because it is a 32 bit image. If I then try to change the Mode to 16 or 8 bit, it applies an HDR effect which is different from how it appears in 32 bit. Is there a way to get around this? What am I missing? Thanks in advance.

Hallo, Ich erstelle in Lightroom ein Profil mit X-Rite ColorChecker. Wenn ich das Profil das ich für eine bestimmte Aufnahme erstellt habe anschließend wieder löschen möchte, schaffe ich das nicht. Wer weiß Rat?

I've relocated my studio and in getting reset up with computers I have a Missing File problem with the question mark on the folder. . I proceed with Find the File and I can locate the file but when I select it LR  removes all the files in that folder from Lightroom.  It now shows the folder I was trying to locate but with zero files. I can go to the folder on the hard drive and see them there but can't get them to show as in my folder on Lightroom (where it previously showed).  Next I went to look for the folder to restore all photos and it says you already have that folder - do you want to merge. If I merge then it starts a second hard drive folder in LR and puts the photos there. Now I have a second hard drive folder on LR with the correct files but my original hard drive folder still shows empty. I've got about thirty folders I need to get coordinated but instead I've got TWO hard drives listed in LR - the original shows question marks and the new one shows empty
