tethered capture in Lightroom classic ver 11.1 with Canon 5D M IV

It is flaky and variable.

Right now it takes the shot then freezes

It can't import into Lightroom

A window comes up and nothing in it, then a message asking me to close or wait.

It has worked today.

All the connections seem right

I have Windows 11 updated.

I have a new computer Surface Laptop Studio and was wondering if the cord for this is OK.

My laptop has USB type C ports

Help would be great
