Question

Unable to access all of my installed local adjustment presets in LR 12.3 when using brushes

I recently installed a number of local adjustment presets only some of which [12] appear in the "custom" drop down menu box below the line separating them from the LR presets.  I have many more presets but cannot scroll to find them nor do they appear beside the others, and the arrow at the top left of the menu box is greyed out.   I have check the installation and I'm confident that they were isntalled properly.  I am using LR 12.3 on a PC.  How/what do I do to access the other presets?

"I have many more presets but cannot scroll to find them.."

With an extreme number of Local Adjustment Presets you may have stumbled upon a problem as in this post by @johnrellis

https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-bugs/p-windows-limit-on-number-of-keywords-folders-collections-in-panel-prevents-scrolling-to-bottom/idc-p/12893318#M42370

"nor do they appear beside the others,"

Local Adjustments Presets can not be arranged in a hierarchy, only one continuous list.

"and the arrow at the top left of the menu box is greyed out."

To which arrow do you refer?

"I have check the installation and I'm confident that they were isntalled properly."

Are you sure the were all 'Local' brush presets? And not Global Develop Presets?

Thanks for your reply. I'm not trying to order the presets in a hierarchy.
12 appear below the LR presets, but that's all. I haven't found any way to
scroll down the drop down box to locate any others. They are adjustment
presets and not global development presets. The grey arrow (triangle)
appears in the top left corner of the drop down box above the list of LR
presets. I hope this helps, and that there is a solution to this
problem. NE

I am still mystified by the "grey arrow (triangle)" you mention.

When I view the Brush Presets there is nothing other than presets listed- although I do not have enough Brush Presets to required scrolling. (I see 35 user presets under the 18 adobe default presets.)

If you are referring to the Disclosure triangle- These triangles either expand or contract the Brush panels.

Post a screen-clip, thanks.
