I'm running Lightroom Classic 12.0.1 and Photoshop 24.0.1. I have tried this thread but it's still not working. Another feature of Adobe's?

I said it WRONG "re-install LrC then Ps- in that order?"- my apologies (dyslexic?  "Is there a dog? 🙂   ).

Reinstall as said by @TheDigitalDog

Install Photoshop first, then Lightroom Classic.

And often the 'total clean' is needed to fix problems- CLEANER TOOL LINK before you re-install.

Some other of my thoughts-

Do you have multiple versions of Ps installed?

Do the image file names include any unusual characters? (like commas, full-stops, forward slash, etc)

Have you set 'Full disk access' for iOS.?

Following this thread with interest.

Indeed, it is the install order that seems to be critical in this fix. For some odd reason, Photoshop needs to go first then LR, the other way around (oddly) seems to continue to confuse LR about PS being around.

When the 'link' between Lightroom Classic and Photoshop has issues, one of the first things to try is this:
1. Use the Adobe Creative Cloud application to uninstall both Photoshop and Lightroom Classic and when asked, keep preferences.
2. Install Photoshop first, then Lightroom Classic.
Better?

Well then I second Rob's question: Can you explain in more detail "still not working"?

Is an image you are trying to send to Ps shown as 'Missing'?

Do you work with Smart Previews only?

Have you tried the un-install of Ps & LrC, then re-install LrC then Ps- in that order?

Whend send to Photoshp, Photoshp would launch but the image is not loaded into Photoshop. In Lightroom CC, I have do have access to the full image. And yes, I did uninstall/re-install in that order.
