I am editing an image in LR Cloud. I edit in Photoshop. Then press save. The image is now in LR and uploaded to cloud. First problem: it saved it as a TIFF. But where can I make a PSD the default? I can't see it in PS preferences.The second problem is this - my original raw file is about 45 Mb. The TIFF is 650 Mb. I don't suppose the PSD will be much better. I have 1 Tb of data - but this is going to fill up pretty quickly with 650 Mb files. What do people do about this? I am thinking - maybe once I have made my edits I should just save it as a jpg. This means I won't be be to go back and adjust my edits - but maybe that is the only viable way. (I can't afford to pay Adobe for unlimited space). Finally - I found this huge TIFF on my PC in: "C:\Users\ME\AppData\Local\Adobe\Lightroom CC\Data\b2ac514740d04bf482a520d9c942f75d\originals\2023\2023-09-02\_D801013-Edit.tif" So it is flooding my hard disk as well! Is it possible to stop adobe cloud from messing up with your storage and only store everything locally? I can only afford to subscribe to the cheapest photography option and I want to store everything locally anyway, as I always did with photos and files.I have all the pictures locally (copied x2 just to be sure) and adobe cloud is spamming me with notifications about full storage and not being able to download the original ? I have everything on my local storage with lots of empty space to use.I am using one device only.So is it possible at all without ditching app completely for Lightroom Classic?

I think I may have a bug with the sync in Lightroom not finishing. For the past 6-7 months it's been trying to sync 2 items, which for the life of me I don't know which ones they are, or I'd delete them. I'm not sure what the problem is. No, I have not deleted my entire library and reinstalled it. I kind of need that stuff. Anyone else have this bug? It just hangs there. 

So I created collections that sync'd to my lightroom mobile, then took the lightroom mobile collections and put them in folders, however they didn't sync back to my lightroom Classsic So why isn't this working? 

after the grading in lightroom mobile, colours appears different in other display mobiles. my phone is vivo 21 e and the screen colour mode is pro warm is default. Any people used this phone please reply how you judge the colours .   

Hi,I installed new windows and LR classic in my second PC. After log in in Adobe I have to choose which PC, LR stay and which not because licence is for 2 PC. Choice was hard because doesn't exist PC number so I choose wrong and LR, PS everything been lost on my First PC so I lost over 160 pictures after production. How I can back it to my LR installed again?

Please go back to the previous set up for editing photos. I liked rotating my phone to landscape position and the buttons were placed perfectly on the side. Currently if you rotate your phone landscape you lose all ability to edit. God why do they keep doing this? Just go back to the previous button layout and improve on everything else because currently this app is slowing me down. 

Hello, I'm new to Lightroom 3.2 (but am very familiar with previous versions). In previous versions, when I selected photos and hit delete, I had the option to remove the photos from Lightroom or remove them from Lightroom and the disk. I can't seem to find a way to do that in Lightroom 3.2.  Is there a way to delete from disk?

HelloNone of my search terms have revealed a thread addressing a similar question. I started migrating a 28k file/ 260GB catalog from LrClassic to LrCloud. The process started without any errors, flags, missing files or metadata conflicts.so far, so good. It's been days with no obvious progress. The catalog says synched, but not all the files are there and the blue pin wheel keeps turning. Choosing any spec file that is showing and appears to have been uploaded, ie is not a black rectangle place holder also does not load any edits previously done in LrClassic. I had an idea to log into Lr iOS app on an ipad, hoping it would show all the files that have been successfully imported so far. That number is 210 and hasn't changed in 3 days!I've attempted logging out and back in to the Lr iOS app as a way of refresh, with no change in what is available.  Is there an actual, informative tool to check on the migration progress and whatever processing

I need help with uploading new images to my account.  I have plenty of space but no more images are going up to my cloud.  It repeatedly says upload failed in red letters.  What should I do?  my subscription is in good standing.  This is frustrating.         {Thread title updated by moderator}        

Was viewing photos that I had just added. It is time you fixed this issue !!! I have just updated Lightroom to 6.5  through Creative Cloud. Lightroom has become unusable - I am extremely annoyed. I am even considering cancelling my subscription, which I would be extremely sad to do so. This issue has been dragging on for about 1 month now.

You guys completely killed my workflow with your Adobe cloud. I don't need at all to sync all pictures I add to Lightroom, because many of them I don't need at all. I add, I choose, I process, I share, I process them and use my OneDrive to share. I don't need them to be at your Adobe Cloud at all.Recently I started Express to create Reels and didn't have enough space at Adobe Cloud and needed to clean it. I removed everything with your support guy and it removed all I had added to my Lightroom on my MacBook, which used my hard disk space to store.Previously when I paused syncing, it was popping up in Lightroom all the time reminding me about that pause. Hi, Is this a bug or by design? Lightroom version 8.5.1 on Galaxy S22+, Android 13, UI 5.1 When browsing pictures imported into Lightroom, I find it highly annoying when the sort order frequently reverts back to Modified Date regardless of what sort order I want to work in. You go wonder "Where the h**l did my shot disappear? Oh yes, it was just the the sort option that messed up the order again!". This seem to happen at least when new shots are added to Lightroom from the Gallery. I can see the need to sort by Date Modified, but please, let us use the selected sort order until we decide to change it. For me it would be Capture Date almost all the time, so this makes it harder to work with the app,  Micke

Hi, my Lightroom doesn't show editing tools as it used to when you select a photo. Now I can only see the picture and the information about it. Does anyone know what could happen? thank you! 

My objective is to change the color of just the background. Separating the product from the background is proving tough (AI didn't help in this case) So I masked it myself resulting in 5 masks and 20+ sub masks. Until (finally) taken as a whole the product is fully covered. Is there a way to "activate" every mask at once so I can work on just the background?  - Working in Lightroom CC 6.5 on a mac.   

I lost my ipad pro 11 3rd gen overseas and need to replace it. One of the biggest issues is that it didnt do background sync.. in order to cloud sync Lightroom had to be open at the front and screen on and either plugged in or constantly tapping the screen.. cant even switch to youtube while syncing or it will stop.   Opposed to android where I can turn the screen off and put it ina bag and it will just sync everything. Which is what I need.   Now I am considering one of the galaxy S9 tablets, which is slightly more powerful than the A12x iPad I had by the looks, which was definitely easily enough for editing in Lightroom anyway. Though I saw Davinci Rsolve is on iPad, so that makes me consider the iPad Pro again..   The question is does background sync with screen off and not plugged in work on the latest version of iOS yet? Or is iOS still non-functional for location shooting and syncing?

In the Android version of LR I can't delete photos I just imported and are being uploaded.  I can hit the delete button but the photo stays, only after I force close Lightroom and reopen it I can delete whatever I want.  Has been annoying for more than a year. 

I upgraded my storage and yet LR still says I'm running out. It is not reflecting all of my cloud storage.  

The lightroom ap version 8.5.1 has a bug and it does not allow the app to load..facing since 4 days
