Using SmugMug Connection, photos become washed out

I am using Lr CC and sending photos to SmugMug via the SmugMug Connection.  When I do this, the photos become flat and washed out.  (Momtographer here, those are my less than accurate/technical terms).  When export a photo from Lr to my hard drive and then upload to SmugMug using the manual upload, the photos are not exact, but much better and closer to colors in Lr. 

Does anyone know how to see what settings are being applied to SmugMug connection export?  Or any ideas on how to move photos from Lr to SmugMug without having to export to my hard drive and then import to SmugMug so that they keep their 'pop.'?
