How to Export Materials to the Unreal Engine with Substance 3D Sampler?
Hi All My first question and just begun using Sampler couple weeks ago. I managed to created pretty good fabric material from Sampler. I want to add Color Parameter to Export SBSAR files, I couldn't find any info on this process. I am loading the SBSAR files into CLO and want the ability to recolor the material in CLO. Thanks for your help P
Hello there! I am creating a custom filter to make decals and I have been trying to add a material Input but it does not seem to work. I have followed every requirements in the documentation but the material slot still does not appear... Is there anything missing? When using Image To Material (AI powered) I often find the surface displacement to be far too much. Adjusting the micro, medium, and large detail sliders most often yields unsatisfactory results in resolving the issue. What is the proper way to reduce the normal intensity/height displacement in Sampler when creating a new material?
Hello, 3d Sampler crashes when trying to open the application. I recieve a message referencing an "Error 205".I've tried reinstalling Sampler with firewall/virus protection disabled. It still crashes.I've also tried deleting the Adobe 3D Sampler folder and re-executing. That did not work either. I'm attaching logs to this post. Thanks,Robert

I don't know what to do here -- Took a break from using the app for 6-7 weeks as it was so frustrating, and I think my main file is still corrupt, which sucks as it was a TON of work to get that together.Anyway, the app doens't crash now... sort of. Instead, I'm politely told by the system that I'm running out of memory, and I need to force quit something...which something is quite obvious 🙂So, idk if there's a memory leak, or what not. When this happens, I'm exporting samples into .png files. Nothing too crazy. Whether I do it one at a time, waiting for each to finish exporting, or queue a bunch up, this will happen after 5-15 are loaded. Seems like memory is being used, but never releassed.

Delight filter doesn't work very well in this case. Traditioanlly, it would be done in PS with sample brush. Can Sampler do this more effeciently?

when i have a layer for exaple a cloth weave. how do i duplicate this layer with exact same settings?
sbsar files created or sample files show errors when trying to use them in c4d. Also sbsar files downloaded from Adobe Substance Assets also give error and can't be used by C4d.
Hello!First, to be clear, this is my very first time using Substance, so yes this will be some super noob level stuff. I've got a basic working knowledge of the UI and how it works, just failing spectacularly on my first try. I'm trying to make a material to model the painted cinder block wall in my living room: I feel like I'm getting an *okay-ish* approx of the surface texture using Surface Relief and tweaking the Fine Subtle Clouds preset, but I'm open to suggestions on that as well. The bigest problem though is when I use the Brickwall filter, I just can't seem to find a way to make the grout look like it's painted the same as the brick. Obviously the texture of the grout is much finer than the brick, but I just can't get it to feel like the whole thing has been given the same coat of paint. Also - irl the grout has this scalloped look to it, and the Brickwall filter doesn't seem to have any way of mimicing this look. So maybe in this case the Brikwall filter just won't wor
Hi I want to create parameters for the textures I have created in sampler? Every texture that I open/use in Substance Painter that I have created in sampler the height is far too high (even though it looks fine in Sampler) I have noticed that any texture brought into Painter from Sampler there are no parameters. This is not helpful. My main question is : - is it possible to send materials made in Sampler to Painter with editable parameters? if so how is this done?
I have a photo of a tile I'd like to repeat indefinitely inside a floor tile generator. I seem to have no control over the postion of the image within a single tile. I've played with material scale in relation to tiling amount all to no avail. Any suggestions for pulling this off?

I have created a texture in Substance Sampler. When I share to Substance Painter it comes as is with no paremteres. Other materials in Sub Painter have many paremeters yet the ones I share from sampler do not. Is it possible to create parameters that export out with the texture in Sampler for fruther tweaking in Painter?

Hi. A file was working fine, then Sampler crashed, and now it won't load. Backups of the file won't load either.I've tried it on a mac, and have even put it on my PC and tried there, and both will crash when the file is loaded. It's big, but not nearly the biggest I have. Problem is, it has like...dozens of textures I've been working on, and it'll be a very big pain in the bum if I have to recreate them (not to mention, I won't be able to recreate them as they are now).How can I go about fixing this file? ANy known ways?Very very scary to think that any file could just go corrupt 😞

I am currently working with Substance 3D Sampler 3D version 3.2.1 and can no longer find generators such as Equalize, Water, Make it tile... what does it replace these functions. I was on the web page where I was told nominations such as Adjustment... but also unknown in the list of generators. Please give me a solution.
