Is it possible to create usable 3D objects in Sampler from elements with very little texture using photometry. For example, a glass bottle with a label on the front and back.

Hi! I've just got started on Adobe Sampler and I'm trying to convert a set of images from a product photoshoot into a 3D object.  Importing the photoset goes fine, but it comes up with "an unexpected error occured" in the alignment process.  I made the images transparent PNGs in the hopes that it would be super easy for the AI to find the object but even with bight green background JPEG, it threw up the same error. Any advice? My PC specs are attached, as well as a error log and a screenshot of the error! 

hi there! How to render the image of synthesized material output under specific environmental lighting? i want the rendered image(the image inside the left box of the screenshot) instead of all those maps.  thx for the reply. 😄

when i use python script to export material,how can i fix this 

in the document, i found there are some options about exporting mesh, but i didnt find it in Sampler...thus, i try to achieve it through python API. but an error occurred after running it：”Cannot call export_mesh on anything but a 3D object导出文件夹路径：“ i wonder is there a method can select the 3d model? the method "get_selected_asset()" only gets the material type. Adobe Capture has an upcoming Feature to scan 3D objects. I would like Adobe Sampler to include photogrammetry tools that easily create and connect point clouds from pictures that can be captured via drone or phone. Just like Reality capture pro, drone deploy or agisoft metashape. It also could include a tool to connect several 360° pictures to create a Matter port like walkthrough or 3D Model which makes it easier to create 3D models from the inside of a Room in just a fraction of the time used normally. It would also be cool to be able to connect an inside 3D model with an outside 3D model to create a complete House and to export it to VR so you can view it on the Quest 2, Quest Pro, the newly introduced Apple vision pro or any other VR. Does anyone know if it is possible to create a "preset" in adobe sampler? I am researching and trying to develop a one stop plug and play workflow for creating digital materials for my company. The ideal use case would be we scan a material, import the scan into adobe sampler, import the preset and it would automatically create a greyscale material that we can then tweak if needed. Thoughts?

I'm trying to create a tiled pattern with offset like this, which seems to be simple enough.However I've tried almost every filter but cant get it to repeat and offset like this.It seems like this should be possible with the Floor Tiles node, but there's no way of stopping the random positioning. Any idea how I could go about doing this in Substance Sampler.Cheers

I have an image 2000x1080. I'd like to process it into sampler and extract the other maps (normal, height etc.).So far I only found a way to export the maps at a square ratio up to 4k, is there any way to export the maps at the original resolution of 2000x1080?

I have Substance 2022 steam edition, I've seen that in the filter "Normal to Height" there should be an option called "preserve tiling"? Is it something added in 2023 only? because I don't see it in my version.Thanks

Another question, when I import a normal map or a heigh map not named properly they might be input in the wrong channel, how can I target the channel to input the map properly without necessarily renaming the files in advance?PS: I have Substance 2022 Steam edition

 I am currently creating a flooring material for a house using Substance 3D Sampler. My goal is to create a material that faithfully reproduces the texture provided by the manufacturer. However, when I imported it using image to Material (AI Powered), it became a bumpy material like the reference image. It looks like an old and dirty flooring, far from the product. The joints of the flooring should have a clear indentation, and the board part should have a flat finish with no bumps. Hello, Even with following tutorials, I'm still struggling to solve my problem :When changing scale in Painter, the quality drops. At first, I thought it was the resolution but it seems that when scaling, I have a height/normal problem. I start to think it's not just a resolution problem but something else, related to the method use to create the lace/crochet/fishnet. Any tip/advice?The "sampling"/"waving" method looks nice but for scaling, should I rather start with a pattern that doesn't need the waving with height mixing (in other words, to have the "base" and the pattern already mixed)?

Hello,Thanks in advance for any help on this issue.Attached is a fiberglass architectural exterior siding sampler material that needs to look like slightly angledPlank Lap Siding in the side view.  The image on the right is an example of the Plank Lap Siding that I amtrying to create.  If I need to go into substance designer to finish this, because this cannot possibly be achievedin sampler - please advise steps in SD that should be followed. Thanks!

I checked all the tabs and tried putting in a different image extension, but embroidery scale didn't come up. Only the density exists. Please help me

Hi there, I am new to Substance 3D so I don't have much knowledge as of yet. I need to create 3D materials that are exact in colour which is why I'm using the image to material function. When I upload an image of a brick material, the tiling isn't quite right. I'm also trying to creating a vinyl siding material from an image but don't have any base materials that match up. Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated. If there are any known courses out there that someone knows of, please share. Thank you. 

I can't find a way to expose my custom input nodes created in Substance Designer into Sampler.They show up correctly in Substance Painter and in the old good Substance Player tho.any hint?thank you

Is Image to Material (AI) supported on M1 Macs now?  I tried it but the filter just keeps spiming / calculating endlessly. Using M1 Mac Mini 16GB RAM.

Hello, How does this *(sig)* cloud sync work? Is it only for software sources and updates or for our projects as well? From what I know I've not activated any "project" sync with the cloud but my current project is lost and a two weeks old project is back.  Old project I had deleted on my computer (both in .alg_meta and .materials). How comes it's back? Since I'm working alone, I don't need sync at all (and neither want it).
