all of the textures are saved on the computer get a "unknown error while generating motion" w/ this or nothing at all help
Any solution for this? TT
I have tried too many times, and everytime i get this error.I have tried with diffrent models, removed stuff from the models, i have tried with and without bones, and I have even tried in diffrent browser nothing seems works. I cant uploed my "own" models. Please help
There are 2 animations for this cattegory. Both aren't descending stairs like a human.
For some reason when i upload my model it is normal but when it get on the processing upload is just get stuck on the same screen forever i dont know what to do so could someone explain me i alyready tryed to recreate the rigging.
Hello, I'm trying to upload a character I've rigged but I always get the error that it can't be done. It's pretty detailed so I'm wondering if it's down to the file size? it sits currently at 62 MB. What is the size mixamo is happy to accept? I can upload the model if anyone wants to have a look for me? I really need help so any answers will do!
Hi all, I have downloaded my model with a mixamo animation and i was trying to adjust the animation following this tut. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HS2S5SleiHE&t=6s However, the reset bind pose in cinema r26 is greyed out completely. I tried downloading all the different fbx and tried it in 24-26 versions of cinema. No luck Can someone shed light on the matter for me? Many thanks
Hello, I am a college student I developed a game for thesis and we used the mixamo 3D asset and our panel is asking for personal copy of license from mixamo. is it possible to get a personal copy even if the asset has a royalty free? please help..
I've tried to install the plugin, but I think something is missing before I complete. My Steps, 1. Edit > Preferences > Install> Locate the install folder> Install Addon and once complete, I don't see the Animation Mixamo Rig plugin in the list. I need this to make everthing work. I have included the only thing that indicates animation in 1 of the 2 screenshots.
Dear Mixamo Team, I have a simple and yet very much important request for you: can you please allow changing background color for the Mixamo 3D viewer? I am pretty sure I am not alone here on this request, and having the possibility to change the color of the viewer (a part from the very annoying gray-looking background) would be awesome especially for people like me with almost zero knowledge of 3D software manipulation and very low time to spend on learning 3D tools that sometimes are very expensive also (for most of us is an hobby, not a job).Why this request? It's fairly simple, for the above mentioned reason, I am using OBS to capture the screen in order to use your 3D and animation for personal (no-profit) work, and the problem with the gray background is that I am obtaining very bad results when working with Ultra Key framing or Rotoscoping. I basically want to use this blender pack of valorant models. My goal is to use the models in this pack, animate them using mixamo, and bring them into Unity. However, I am not able to get the model uploaded to mixamo with the materials. Not only that, just inside blender, if I export the model as a .obj or .fbx and then re-import it, the materials don't stay on. I am really new to blender so if someone can explain how I can solve this, it would be really helpful. I have tried to find solutions for this online, one of them was to export it as .obj, reimport it in blender, then export it as .fbx. This doesn't work either. When I export as .obj and reimport, the materials are not showing P.S. the link is to a youtube video. The blender files for the models can be found in the discription of that video. To whom it may concern, We are graduate students who are conducting a non-profit academic research on avatar motion generation in VR. We developed an algorithm to automatically generate a skeleton’s bodily motion, such as walking or punching etc., in the form of a timed sequence of joint coordinates (a few seconds long per motion). Our intended scope of using Mixamo is for rigging the skeleton of the generated motion, so that we perform user studies to assess the their experiences of our generated motions. We do not alter the texture of Mixamo characters. We plan to publish our research as an academic paper. (non-commercial, of course)Would you please advise if the aforementioned scope of how we use Mixamo is a copyright violation? Thank you very much for your feedback.
Hi,I am an amateur game developer. Recently, I have bought some assets for my game and the model file is an fbx file. I can export my characters from Blender but I am unable to upload them to Mixamo with textures. I tried to upload it as an fbx file. I also chose the "path copy" and "embed textures" options when I exported the fbx file from Blender. However, characters appear without any texture. I have attached the fbx file.I would appreciate it a lot if you could help me fix my texture problem.Many thanks,Nil
Help! I am trying to animate my movie with Mixamo (models being worked on in Blender). The models come pre-rigged. When I upload the FBX model to Mixamo, it re-rigs it and uploads and animates just fine. But it is just gray plastic, with no textures whatsoever. Not anything. I know this is a semi-common issue and I have watched multiple videos, read multiple articles and Googled more things than I care to count and it still isn't working. Suggestions?
When I try to auto-rig my character, I keep getting errors and I'm not topo sure why. This is a model I got from someone, if needed I can provide the .OBJ file.
When I load my custom character into Mixamo and place the points, I get a message saying "Unknown Error while generating motion." It's like Mixamo doesn't recognize my model as a riggable character. I realize it may be hard to tell from just a screenshot, but on first glance can you tell what it is about my model that is causing issues? The thumbs look reversed here, but they are correctly positioned. Also, I tried this model with different hands, thinking they were the problem--but no results. Granted, it's clumsily built. But I just ran this off as a prototype for something in AR. Wondering if my construction method in C4D is the problem, but I haven't had too many problems so far.
In the following model I have my character with shorts.However when I import my character and rig him in Mixamo the shorts appear like a "skirt" it doesn't separate in between like shorts should. Any idea what I need to set or what I'm doing wrong?
Greetings, I wanted to use some Characters and Animation from Mixamo for personal projects, but I actually don't know how to best use them. I need to make some Videos with digital animations, and I like some of the Characters and movements Mixamo has got, but I cannot use them directly from Mixamo, nor I can do a screen capture because of the "annoying" grey background of the player. If I want to make a video by including a 3D and animation from Mixamo, what is the best way to do it? Should I export them and then import them inside a 3D software? And what software would you suggest for this purpose? I am doing it on my spare time, I am not a pro, so I do need to use an easy software with a small learning curve.I am open to any tips. When I try to download an animation on the character I get this error. ERROR occured on export: Unknown error while generating motion The T-Pose download also gives the error, but orgianl pose that is A will work. I have gotten the model to work if I remove all of the bones and rig it through Mixamo. The model I am using has over 200 bones, having all the ones that Mixamo makes, plus many more. I want to keep these bones as I planned to have the mouth move while talking and use Dynamic Bones in Unity. The hair is shaking a bit after I upload the character and thought maybe this could be the problem, no bones in the hair. Any suggestion to get it to work in Mixamo or a way to add the orignial bones? I dont know Blender but maybe someway to add back in the bones with Blender? Thanks for any help.

Hi, Mixamo.com website works normally, but when I go to Adobe's login page, it keeps loading and doesn't redirect me back to Mixamo after logging in. I tried making a new account and still no luck.
Hi guys,I mainly make and use avatars with Daz. I want to use the skateboarding motion in mixamo motion, but I want to know how the skateboard with the avatar can move. Do I have to bring a motion-applied avatar and skate separately? please help!
