I purchased the attached rigged robot and uploaded the fbx file but it gave me this error. Sorry unable to map your existing skeleton Please see Best practices. I opened the fbx file in blender and the bones are there. Any help would be appreciated.

I cannot seem to correctly load my model for my game so i can rig it. The original model is the photo and the model after rigging is the video. The knees, hip, body, and arms were seamlessly connected in the original model, but were broken in mixamo. I don't even know what the lines flying out into the abyss are. Can I use Mixamo's animation for music videos of cover songs to be uploaded to YouTube channels owned by the corporation?
I've been searching for days and looking in the community for some answer but it never worked. When I rigged my character, it said unknown error while generating motion and placed all markers on the character even though I placed all of them. My character is a chibi so I select it to have no fingers, and I don't use symmetry because my character fell kind of to the left somehow. Any fix? Help appreciated.

Bonjour,J'ai découvert hier Mixamo. J'essaie de l'utiliser et pour cela je me fie aux différentes vidéos présentes sur youtube. Après avoir choisi le personnage, celui-ci ne se met pas automatiquement dans la partie droite comme indiqué. Je dois le télécharger et là, il est donc présent. Mais après avoir choisi une animation, rien ne se passe. L'animation ne se fait pas automatiquement et se fait par l'apparition subite de la visionneuse 3 D, découverte et qui enregistre le fichier. C'est ennuyeux car je ne vois pas en direct les animations que je demande.Questions : Est-ce dû à Mixamo ? Si oui comment puis-je résoudre cela ?Si non, serait-ce dû à un réglage de mon PC ? Dois-je lier un lecteur 3D (visionneuse ou autre) à Mixamo ? Si oui lequel et comment ? Je suis sous Windows 10.J'avoue ne pas comprendre et surtout pas maîtriser tout cela.L'une ou l'un d'entre vous pouraît-elle (il) m'aider ?Je vous en remercie par avance.
HiSo I tried different ways, but still get this error.originally i used rigged .blend file, set skeleton in rest position, combined all the parts into one, set scale, rotation, etc.. at 0 and export as .fbx (try all the same with .obj - no difference) without rig bones, model it self (probably important?) I am worried that model is not in the center when imported, so i need to place markers manualy (yes, it always "hits" the model, but I suppose that could be the reason of an error) perhaps the error occurs due to the fact that the model has gaps? is it fixable?Thank's for the help my future projects are in danger... 😞
I'm loading the animation into Mixamo and editing it in Blender. I edit the bones in this model and NOTHING ELSE! That is, I just moved these bones and overwrote the animation frames. In blender, this animation plays fine even when I rendered a video with this animation. But when I transferred it to Unity, I realized that the model does not want to play at all. You don’t even have to attach people from other forums to your answers, I have already seen them 100 times and I don’t understand what and how to do. Can you normally, step by step explain how to make the edited model move?
Hello community, i would like to some legalities regarding the creation of animations, either via merging with custom animations, hand-changing keyframes, etc., and potentially their distribution.This is either to create a complete new set of animations based on Mixamo animations or to add animations seemingly not available in the current collection, so it is not about re-distributing the raw animations as is.- would it be allowed to create said animations and under what license would these fall?- related to above, would it be possible to distribute these new animations and/or are certain terms necessary to uphold?- is there currently a way to provide these new animations to Mixamo? Currently i was not able to find answers to these questions in the Terms of Use, so hopefully someone can help me out there.There was a similiar post to mine, but it stayed unanswered and with my post i would alos like to have answered the distribution matter as well.
To the reader,Me and a couple of buddies joined in a game development competition and discovered mixamo's huge library of free? animations. We are interested and planning on using the animations from mixamo's but we are still unsure whether we are allowed to use them.The competition specified that we had to make our own game ourselves with legal resources like royalty free ones(no copyright or stealing assets without a license)IF we somehow win some competition money and with our models running on mixamo animations, will it infringe any of mixamo's rules? From their non-profit thing etc- royalty free for personal, commercial, and non-profit projects, because we could earn real cash making the game and using animations from mixamo.We just want to stay out of trouble, thats all
I have some animations downloaded from mixamo in my game which work fine in the default version. However, when I modify one of them in Blender, then I will re-load into unity as FBX to the same component animator - the animation does not move. The animation works with the model taken from the blender, but does not work on the old model (although it looks the same model). Could someone please help?

something changed today in mixamo files downloaded today from mixamo does not work anymore with daz3d old files that were downloaded few days ago are still working fine but anything downloaded today from mixamo is not working and also the file sizes are different ( same animatino ) can anybody tell me what is changed on mixamo and is it going to work with daz3d ?
Hello allI have this character I made using Nomad Sculpt, and when I use it in Mixamo I get a pinching issue on their upper body. I was wondering if anybody knew why, or how to fix it? Thank you
I downloaded a walking animation from Mixamo and imported it to Blender. My character keeps moving forward, but i want him to walk in place. The base of the rig actually stays in place. I do not know how to fix this. I am also planning to export this animation to Unity.
make it a standard Fbx and Mixamo is fine with it... file included

I have made a very simple model in blender which doesnt seem to have any problems, geometry is fine but for some reason i keep getting this error , when i export as an obj it works fine but i can no longer apply textures to it, its just the default grey, and last when i attempted it as a .zip it messed up the textures, ill link below the FBX file that im using
I uploaded my model into mixamo for rigging and the bones was rigged into the cloth. Is this because my character model has hole in it (the body was not covered)? *sorry if this is a dumb question, im new to rigging, modelling and animation
Got a converted MMD model through Blender's CATS plugin exported to FBX. It's got a couple dozen extra bones that I'd like to keep in there for physics purposes that I don't want mixamo to modify, but it's got a few that correspond directly to HIK bones, which I've tried renaming as if they were mixamorig1 since nothing else seemed to work. Interestingly enough, I have to delete the material and remake it from the diffuse atlas every time because it always imports with inside-out textures, and I have no idea what the difference between the material I'm remaking and the material I'm importing is. I'm out of ideas here. Y'all seem to know what you're doing. What can you tell me about the situation? I also can't help but notice that the generated FBX file is smaller than the texture atlas, but I don't know what, if anything, that implies.
Hi all,So, i have been trying to use mixamo for quite some time and i have great dificulties in getting a consistent working set of anims.For this i uploaded an FBX and used the mixamo tools to generate a rig, so far so good.All animation previous work beautifully in the mixamo website, no issues there.When actually trying to use the animations the problems start:1. Downloading any pack as DEA, does not result in a functional DAE, it cannot be imported in blender because of the same reasons here,Re: Mixamo addons python error, bug ? - Adobe Support Community - 131299522. When downloading a single entry, with skin, the result is _NOT_ consistent and it seems that not all anims are witten with the same base pose, resulting animations that are not compatible with the original skin but it was was rigged with mixamo!I cannot add dea files.. i do not understand how this forum does not "support" specific model formats while mixamo is outputting in that format. I have a problem trying to combine animation from mixamo, I did everything, my character get all the actions in the NLA but at the moment of running the button "baked animation" in the mixamo addons I get a python error... I know that this problem happened to others but since 3h I can't find how to fix it... maybe there is an issue with the code itself (int type vs float) ? i d'ont know... I'm on blender 3.2 and I have the last version of the add-on (downoalded today)... there is the error : if you could help me, it would be amazing ! thank you for reading me 🙂
