Hi All,   We’re exciting to announce a new and improved color for working with 32-bit documents is now available in Photoshop Beta. This update is part of an ongoing effort to bring more tooling and support to 32-bit workflows and improve modern color management and HDR workflows in Photoshop.   To try the feature: Note: this new color picker is on by default and will be shown when working with a 32-bit document.   Open a new or existing 32-bit document. Ensure it is 32-bit by going to Image > Mode > 32Bits/channel. Once done, open the color picker, which should now be the new and improved 32-bit color picker.     Feature updates: HDR UI Limit slider: Allows setting the maximum brightness on the picker window from 0 (SDR white) to +4 stops. When set to >0, a divider line will appear to show the split between SDR and HDR range. RGB sliders to set values   Thanks and looking forward to your feedback!

Hi, the background generation feature based on an image example has disappeared from the Photoshop beta. Previously, I could generate a photo, and there was a button that allowed me to upload the desired background, and the generation would create 3 similar variants.

I downlaoded the latest PS Beta earlier (26.7 released today) and the Curves Panel which was of a sensible size is now tiny and I can find no way to increase its size?

Do a h x w x res crop.Change tools.Change back to the crop tool. It now displays Ratio mode (the tool will crop to a ratio, without resizing) but clicking on the drop-down reveals that it is actually set to h x w x res mode, and will resize. This has been a fault for many versions of Photoshop.

Hi everyone,I'm experiencing a recurring issue with Adobe Photoshop (both stable and beta versions). My PSD file gets corrupted after a power outage, even though I save it multiple times manually during the session. Today, after a short power cut, I reopened my PC and found that my PSD file only shows a solid red and black bar; all the layers and work are gone.This has happened 3–4 times before as well. I had been saving my work frequently, and I wasn't working from the cloud.I'm attaching a screenshot of how the corrupted file looks.Is there any way to recover this PSD?And why has Adobe not addressed this data-loss issue yet, especially for local savings when power cuts or crashes occur?Any help would be really appreciated. My deadline is very close, and this file is almost complete.Thanks in advance.

I just want this layer dead center but the horizontal smart guidelines are not showing

when I right click in lightroom and edit in photoshop, it opens in photoshop, then when I make my change and hit save, it no longer shows up in lightroom classic.I know that in lightroom CC the integration is that you have to save and close out of the document to see the reflected changes and this is one of the main reasons I still use lightroom classic as it updates as soon as you save. This means that if I notice a mistake back in lightroom classic I can go back to the opened document and make the change. If I have to close out of the document I can no longer undo the mistake because I had to close out of the file. This is a huge editing workflow issue.

I was trying to resize a smart object layer. I usually use the shortcut Ctrl-T to bring up the trnasform gizmo. Nothing happened. I tried it many ties on different smart object layers and the smae problem persisted. If I go to Edit-->Fre Trasnfrom, the gizmo appears without problem. I tried Ctrl-T on normal layers, and it works.

I installed a new macOS Sequoia 15.4.1. Photoshop shuts down immediately after trying to open it. Any ideas to fix this?

What graphics card will work with my I5 processor, 32gb ram so I can use PS Beta?  I am not gaming or such so something inexpensive.......

I am trying to record an action that converts an open .webp image to PNG as a batch command.I tried recording "Quick Export ot PNG" and "Export As", selecting PNG. Neither of these actiosn were recorded. When I run the resulting action from File-->Automate--> batch, all the images on the folder I sleect open, and then close immediately. Nothing is saved as PNG.

I am having an issue with layers becoming invisible when work is saved and reopened and although I can see layers on the right hand side they are not visible on canvasAdobe Photohop 2025 version is 26.6, platform is windows 11 pro

Hi!Is the Generative Fill feature more restrictive now? There seems to be a lot of things I could create in the base PhotoShop that the Beta flat out rejects. Further, it seems like these rejections are random, and that's really frustrating - especially since it takes the program 10 seconds to say "no". It's really annoying. I've always had issues with PhotoShop blocking otherwise inocous prompts, but the current Beta release takes it to the next level. What's going on, will this be adressed, and will there be more clarity provided? 

There appears to be a bug in Photoshop Beta on a Windows 10 PC where Full Screen Mode (F key) sporadically hides all panels/palettes and the Tab key won't bring them back.  

I am trying to resize images using pixel dimensions. Every time I uncheck the "Resample" box, the option to use pixels turns gray and unavailable.  

I'm on a 4060 with 16gig vram. I have 180 gig free space on my sytem drive, and far more than that on the drive where photoshop is installed.  I have the eraser set to 29px for this report.  in the non beta version of photoshop, when i use the eraser tool to edit with, it moves rapidly when i drag it and quickly removes the area I'm working on. but in this beta version (latest beta level as of the writing of this post) it drags. it has the same effect as when you enlarge a brush or any other tool like the smudge tool, and swipe it across the image. you can see the effect very slowly move across the image as the system you are on chokes and has a hard time processing - usually becasue you are out of memory or other system resources. The other tools, smudge, brush, etc, all function at a normal speed when set to the same size as i have the eraser set to

Hey everybody,   We are happy to announce that Adjustment Presets continue to be refined and enhanced due to customer feedback.  Today we are happy to share these updates.     1. New Layout - The UI has been simplified with an easier tabbed navigation between single and preset adjustments.   2. New Icons - for the presets, newer icons that better reflect the adjustments have been added.   3. Presets - The Adjustment presets you create will now be part of the Presets tab. When you click on the "+" icon, your ungrouped presets will show as seen in the image below and can be renamed as needed. This workflow has been updated and the Your Presets section has been included in the new UI of Presets which comes with default preset categories and new customer presets/group presets.You also can click on the folder icon to create your own group of presets which will show under the expanded My Presets as well as drag and drop presets into a folder.   As always

I've noticed when I make the Properties>Curves palette wider the curves dialogue stays small instead of flowing with the width. Here's the Beta next to the release version.

I had an image with a dog over a bluescreen background, isolated the dog to use over another background, added a hue/sat adjustment layer clipped to the dog layer, selected the blue color, adjusted the slider to include all blues/cyans, and shifted the color to a orange and desaturated it a good bit to control the blue spill. It desaturated the layers beneath the one it was clipped to as well, and then changing settings stopped making any changes visually.  LOVE the look of the new HSL adjustment layer though. It's nice to click the color swatch rather than pull down and choose blues. Much more intuitive. 

When  using photoshop 26,or photoshop beta. Selecting the Object Selection Tool, it does not select the total subject. Im using a HP17 windows 11 [personal information removed as per forum guidelines]

hola que tal.Los filtros parametricos no se aplican uso la (beta) Versión de Adobe Photoshop: 26.7.0 20250427.m.3057 e97cdb2 x64solo me hace una capa inteligente nueva pero no aplica nunf}gun filtro el panel de propiedades parametricas aparece vacios alguin sabe como solucionarlo Gracias por la ayuda 

If I uncheck sample all layers with the remove tool and go to remove something, it generates it in a new layer and re-checks the checkbox for sample all layers without me clicking it. I don't want to create a new layer every time I click to remove something.
