Windows Pro10.0.19045 Build 19045RAM 32 GBDisk space on C:\ 160 GB Beta Updates 27.6 & 27.7 fail at ~43% Troubleshooting I’ve Already Performed Ran Creative Cloud in Administrator mode — same crash at ~43%. Uninstalled Beta and reinstalled full 27.4, because complete installers for 27.5 and 27.6 both failed. Updated 27.4 > 27.5 using the standalone update (successful). Attempted 27.6 update again — still fails to update. Tried the Exit Code 127 fix, including granting full Admin permissions to the “adobeTemp” folder — no change. Around 03/31/26, I contacted Adobe Help for technical assistance with the Photoshop Beta update problem. I outlined every issue and every action I had already taken, all leading to the same result: the Photoshop Beta 27.6 update consistently crashes at ~43%.First Support SessionThe first agent (after taking control of my system) repeated most of the same troubleshooting steps I had already performed. After a reboot, he attempted a few additional
I'm running the latest available update of Photoshop Beta (27.4.0) on Windows 11. Starting with the last 2 or 3 updates, the contextual text bar disappears at random times. I've tried the suggested ways of restoring it, but nothing works other than shutting down & restarting Photoshop. I've never had this problem until the last few updates.
I have just updatet the regular Photoshop to version 27.6, but the new generative Credits Usage panel. isn´t there at all. According to severel Youtube channels (Julianne Kost for instance) there is such a new feature, but there isn´t. Why?
Created smart object in photoshop beta 27.7 then applied Topaz Studio → Photo filter. Topaz version 1.4 opens and works fine. Then save file and see the smart filter created - it says Topaz Photo AI. When I go to edit the smart filter it starts the wrong version of Topaz - it is using the old Photo AI version 4. Photoshop should reopen the studio version.Looks like photoshop is storing the incorrect filter program
I am experiencing an issue with Generative Fill in Photoshop.Every time I try to use Generative Fill, I receive one of the following error messages:"An error occurred. Please try again later." "We encountered an unexpected error."This issue has been ongoing for the past 2–3 days and happens consistently on every attempt. What I tried:Restarted Photoshop Logged out and logged back into my Adobe account Tested with different files and selections Checked my internet connectionNone of these steps resolved the issue.Additional info:The problem appears to be consistent and not file-specific. Generative Fill is currently unusable.Could this be a server-side issue related to Adobe Firefly?System info (optional – you can edit):Photoshop version: (write your version) OS: Windows 10 / 11Thank you.
According to the VFX Reference Platform Photoshop is using an outdated OCIO version (2025). Please update to the latest version (2.5x 2026).I’ll omit a deeper description of my system etc. because this bug affects all platforms and color managed pipelines.
It used to happen live, now you need to tab out of the field in order to have the preview update.
Smart Sharpen dialog panel error when accessing adjustment sliders section.
Rotate object not working. When click rotate object, that new layer is completely transparent, then when rotate changes accepted, always receive an error.Beta = 27.7 m.3511. Error = Could not update smart object files because of a program error (e2266e.571).
With you’re latest update, which I did today, I was adding masks suing the landscape function to create a few masks and made my adjustments but when I hit toggle visibility the mask does disappear but then when I unclci it takes a long time for the masks to reappear. I’ve noticed other issues but this one’s pretty annoying.
After the update, it’s not possible to select the generative AI engine because they are not visible.
In the latest Ps, 27.7? program is way slower than the previous versions
Since updating to Photoshop Beta 27.6, the model selection interface in the Contextual Task Bar has become non-functional. While the 'Choose a model' dialog box triggers and opens correctly, the selection pane remains entirely blank, failing to load or display any available AI models (Firefly, Gemini, or Partner models). This is a persistent regression; the feature was fully functional in previous beta version, current version : Adobe Photoshop Version: 27.7.0 20260415.m.3506 55a492a x64 (beta, PublicBeta)

I had Montserrat font installed and have been using it for a while. I installed Montserrat Alternatives recently. Now the original Montserrat font does not work in Photoshop. I have deleted both fonts from all locations… computer and cloud. Have reinstalled Montserrat, it shows up, but it acts like the alternative version.I have also deleted all my cache and temp files. This only happens in PS Beta. The font works in Word and CorelDraw.
some wires removed, but not all
Hi, I'm using PS Beta 26.6, and when I try using the "Parametric Filter" the only things that happens is that it:-Duplicates the layer-Converts to smart object. The parametric properties stays "blank" with the text: "Select a layer that contains a Parametric filter....". I've tried to reinstall the Beta, and I've tried resetting the preferances. What am I doing wrong?
Hi(and happy new year!) I can't find the Photoshop (beta) in my Creative Cloud Desktop.Under "Categories" I can see it all (... Video, Illustration, UI & UX, 3D & AR and Acrobat & PDF) but no Beta-category.... please see attached. Is this because I'm living in Denmark? Or do I need to sign up to the beta first?Kind regards, Jens
Photoshop (Beta) 27.6 won't update. It generally stalls or fails at 40 or 41% complete. I have plenty of space on my C:\ Drive. I’m using Windows 10.I’ve tried rebooting and retrying 27.6 update. Fail.I’ve deleted the adobeTemp folder and retried installing update to no avail.I’ve uninstalled the 27.5 Beta and failed at reinstalling the 27.5 package.I reinstalled 27.4 Beta with success and updated 27.5 with success.Beta 27.6 update still stops at 41%.The error I keep getting is this._________________________________________________Exit Code: 127-------------------------------------- Summary -------------------------------------- - 1 fatal error(s), 19 error(s), 17 warnings(s) FATAL: Error occurred in extract of package (Name: AdobePhotoshop27-Core_x64 Version: 27.6.0.3475).
