Cordialement Tg
The Adobe Photoshop ecosystem in 2025 has evolved far beyond its original purpose as a photo editing tool. It now functions as a complete creative platform—serving designers, photographers, digital artists, marketers, and content creators alike. With its deep integration into Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop offers seamless connectivity with tools like Illustrator, Lightroom, and After Effects, enabling multi-disciplinary workflows that span across desktop and mobile environments. Features like AI-powered Generative Fill, Neural Filters, and Smart Object enhancements have redefined how creatives approach image manipulation and design. The recent addition of Adobe Firefly introduces even more dynamic possibilities, blending natural language prompts with powerful image generation capabilities. However, as Photoshop continues to add features and expand its capabilities, many users are beginning to question whether the complexity is outweighing the usability especially for beginners or thos
Hello all! Earlier today I was trying to add a new graphic Style in photoshop by clicking the "new style" button on the Styles panel. The chat box appears asking me to type the "name" of the style and 2 more settings but after clicking "Ok" a message pops - see screenshot. - I use Mac OS Sonoma. I tried going into the applications folder and granting read-write permissions to the photoshop folders but it did not work.Does anyone know what's hapenning here and how to fix it? Any information would be much appreciated! Thank you all.
I just got a new Dell Precision 7680 with Windows 11 and all Windows updates including BIOS and video are up to date. Whenever I pick on a Photoshop 26.5 drop-down menu, the menu drops down as normal.....BUT when I move my mouse down to select one of the menu items, the menu items jumps to the left of it and drops down instead. I've turned OFF "use graphics processor"I've reset PreferencesI've reinstalled twiceI've installed earlier versions too!.............nothing works. Note, Photoshop BETA v26.6 works fine. I know I can just use that, but what's up with std Photoshop v26.5 (and other earlier versions!?) Note no.2, my old Dell Precision of 5 years works fine.
HiThis might seem as a beginner's issue, however, I've REALLY searched Youtube and this Adobe community for a solution to export a CR2 file to a JPG file and keep metadata for creation date and time, as well as location data. I have Adobe Photoshop 2025 and Bridge 2025. I'm running a MacOS, Sequoia 15.5. From Photoshop, I have tried:Legacy "Save for web"Save AsSave a copyetc. From Adobe Bridge I have triedRight click any cr2 file -> Export To - > Custom Export and set all settings to save ALL metadata. So far, nothing works! When I look at the file in MacOS Finder, the creation date & time is the same as the time I did the export. Source files (in Finder) have original creation date and time. Any help would be appreciated.
Dear Adobe Support Team,I hope you're doing well.I'm experiencing an issue while trying to install the Mockup Baker plugin on my system through Creative Cloud. The plugin installation fails with a message indicating that it is only compatible with Photoshop version 26.8.1.However, I would like to inform you that I have Photoshop version 26.8.1 currently installed and running on my system, which makes this message confusing.Despite meeting the required version, the plugin fails to connect or install properly. Could you please help me understand why this is happening and how I can resolve the issue? Here are some additional details:Photoshop version: 26.8.1OS: [windows 11]Plugin: Mockup Baker (1.1.2)Installation method: Adobe Creative Cloud plugin panelLooking forward to your assistance.Best regards,[alirzea nabavi][Alirezana_Official3422]
How do I change the background color of the Menu Bar. I wish to have a Black background and lthe letters white, and if later I whish to return to its default setting.
Does anyone know how to disable the infuriating tutorial popups for Adobe Photoshop online? They make it practically unsuable until you go through the tutorials and I can't find a way to disable them. I'd use regular photoshop if they would let me pay outright for it and not download Adobe CC which is indistinguisable from spyware and slows down my relatively high-end system dramatically.
Hello, I'm on PS 25.0.0 and I use a Macbook Pro 2019. I scan my larger art with the Epson 850 Perfection Pro scanner. And I use PS Photomerge to assemble/digitize my art and it does well except for one thing: It leaves off slim slices of the edges so I have to crop my image smaller to compensate. And for art, this is oftentimes a bad idea. I have another way I do it but it's tricky. I scan so that I leaves space around the corners but the images have to be aligned well (90 degrees or very near) for Photomerge to work. When I've scanned and aligned them well Photomerge merely eats the edges that I left off to begin with in the scanning. But I wonder if I'm missing something and that there could be a more realistic solution? I've been scanning things this way (leaving blank edges when scanning) for years. Keep in mind these are Not photos but art - usually watercolors on paper. Many Thanks for any Assistance,Frank B.
Hi everyone,I’m having trouble with Photoshop not loading any files from the cloud. It shows that there’s no connection and the loading process doesn’t even start.I’ve already restarted Photoshop and my computer, but the issue persists. My internet connection is stable, and Creative Cloud itself seems to work fine – it just won’t sync or load the cloud files inside Photoshop.I’ve attached a screenshot of the error so you can see exactly what’s happening.Has anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it?Thanks in advance for any help!
I would like to put two pictures together, it is a group picture in which I would like to add a person. Is there an automated way I can do this in Photoshop Beta?
Hi,I created an illustration using watercolor brushes so they have many gaps in the strokes to simulate real watercolor. In addition, some of the layers utilizing this effect have the opacity turned down for a transparent effect for blending effect.I need to convert the same 3 colors I utilized for each brush stroke to different colors. (specific colors)How can I achieve this considering the delicate nature of each watercolor brush stroke and varying opacity %s factored in?I need a bullet-proof technique. Thank you.
I am running Photoshop 26.8.1 on my 2019 Mac Pro (macOS Sequoia 15.5). Recently I have noticed that the vertical lines from the sides of displayed panels and the grayed out areas below the panels and toolbar have disappeared. Here is a screenshot: This seems to be working normally with Photoshop on my MacBook Pro. What do I need to do to restore the lines and grayed out areas below the panels and toolbar? Thank you, Stan
With the last version, i get an error on the GPU.Lightroom works fine.Photoshop does not support the 1060 anymore?
While working on large documents, photoshop will randomly display rectangles of transparency (or at least the transparency grid pattern). They're only visible at certain levels of zoom, which in my current document is 66% and closer. If I zoom back out to 50% or further, the blocks disappear, but reappear if I zoom back in. Turning random other hidden layers on and back off seems to temporarily fix the issue. The blocks don't correspond to any masks, objects, channels, etc. in the document, and they don't appear in any output. It seems to only be a view error, but it's happening a lot recently (I believe since I updated to PS 2025).I'm working on iMac Sequoia 15.5, Photoshop version 26.8.1, and the document is 6960 x 4640 at 72 PPI
I've been encountering a persistent Scratch Disk issue in Photoshop despite following the recommended troubleshooting steps. My Mac is running on macOS Sonoma, and even with over 300GB of free space on my hard drive, the Scratch Disk error persists. Upon checking my storage usage while Photoshop is open, I noticed that System Data is consuming an unusually large amount of space, reaching up to 300GB. I couldn't find any effective method to clear this System Data, so I opted for a complete reinstall of my Mac. After the fresh installation, everything is running on the latest versions, including Photoshop. However, the Scratch Disk issue remains. When Photoshop is closed, I have around 900GB of free space and System Data occupies only 18GB. But as soon as I open Photoshop, the free space plummets to almost zero, and System Data balloons to 860GB again (screenshots attached). I'm at a loss as to what's causing this sudden surge in System Data usage and how to rectify the S
I'm on the latest version and the latest iPadOS. I have an image with transparency. Epwhen exporting to png this is flattened. I need to save the alpha channel.. What am I doing wrong? I can find any export settings.
After the latest update toAdobe CC-Br- PsCC, I now have to log in to my Adobe account prior to Bridge being launched on Start-Up(Windows).Never had to do that!I am sure it is just an option that isn't checked but I cant find it. A real pain! Any help would be appreciated!Thanks..
Hey folks. I have a question that Google hasn't been able to answer for me. In a normal document, when you click an object/layer, you can use the arrow keys to nudge it in the direction of the arrow keys. Now, when I use the rotate view tool to turn by 90 degrees, the arrow keys continue to nudge in the direction of the document. Is there any way for the arrow keys to be aware of the angle of my viewport and move objects up/down/left/right based on the direction of the viewport/screen instead of being based on the orientation of the document? I feel stupid not knowing how to do this, but am equally afraid that there is no solution to this. I talked to a friend of mine who uses photoshop and he says he just rotates the entire image and rotates it back. So I'm at a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this really slows down my workflow.
When I download a .cr3 from a browser and open it in PS, I get this error, does anyone know how to turn it off?
Like everyone else I am still adjusting to the new transform behavior in Photoshop. As much as possible I try to adapt to changes in software so that I don't become a dinosaur incapable of using a clean install of any application, so I purposefully haven't used the hack to revert the settings. The problem I'm running into is that I cannot free transform an object to, say, stretch it horizontally. Oddly, the side transform handles don't allow me to stretch the object I'm transforming; they also constrain proportions. To me, this isn't logical or consistent with what those handles mean in most applications.See below. I want to take this square layer mask and make it a rectangle. When I just grab the middle-right handle, the whole layer mask scales proportionally. When I hold down every combination of other keys, it will stretch, but I have no way of keeping my stretching only horizontal. I want to end up with a RECTANGLE not a PARALLELOGRAM. Obviously, there are workarounds, particu
When I create a new brush using the Mixer Brush Tool, the colours are faithful, as long as I use that brush in the same image from which it was created. When I use the new brush in any other image, the colours become muddy. Attached is a screenshot of PS with three partial images (to make uploading quicker) vertically arranged. The original, on the right, from which I created the brush, shows the new brush stamped right beside it, displaying the same colours. Using that brush, in the two images on the left produces dead-looking colours. All three are RGB, 8 bits. I made no changes in Brush Settings and I have restarted Photoshop. Can someone please explain how to fix this.
