How do I get this back? I have tried downloading the latest version of Professional Print and Layout from Canon, that did nothing. What do I do?   I use a Mac and Canon Pro 300. Simple explanation please.

I am looking to replace my old desktop Mac and am looking at the Mac Studio (M4 Max or M3 Ultra) or, possibly, the latest M4 Pro version of the Mac mini. My use is for photography and my workflow is Bridge (to browse, manage, tag, etc), Camera Raw for basic clean up then Photoshop for specific file prep. What is important to me is speedy browsing in Bridge (with fast thumbnail generation, and no lag when browsing quickly through full screen image previews to tag selections), rapid refreshing in camera raw as sliders are moved, speedy application of enhancements (like noise etc) and a smooth, glitch free photoshop using layers and masks. When trying to assess the likely performance potential of the new machine (compared to the desktop and laptop that I have been using) I have been looking at Geekbench and PugetBench Photoshop benchmarks.What is interesting is that Pugetbench Photoshop benchmarks seem to suggest that both the M4 Pro and M4 Max machines give “better” result

Hi there, I have a repeatable pattern tile. I want to scale it down to make it smaller which I was able to do so but it then it isn't a seamless pattern tile when I've scaled down the pattern. Please help, I can't seem for find the answer I need.

Hi, I'm experiencing a new problem w/ Camera Raw since last update. Whenever I make a slider adjustment in Camera Raw, my monitor goes black for a second or two then comes back. This happens consistently anytime I make an adjustment. Is there a setting that I can change to prevent this? Running Windows 11.  Thank you. 

Any idea how I would convert a large number of jpeg's to png files in Photoshop CC?

Can anyone advise on the possibility of this please.In this 15 hour/ over 3 days WJEC exam pupils must use Photoshop with no internet access. I'm tech support and not familiar with Photoshop at all. If I give our users a local computer account not connected to the internet.. launching Photoshop needs them to log into Photoshop online to verify the licence.Can we cut off the internet connection after the initial login? Any suggestions gratefully accepted.We are currently running Photoshop on Windows 10 22H2

Looking for a way to easily apply actions to various nested folders based on folder name. Folders would be matched to an action set in photoshop that would be autodetermined based on Folder name + Action Name. The issue I'm having with current scripts is that they save images to a specified file type, but I've already accounted for this in my actions.Running both mac and windows, auto update on so the latest version of PS. Basically I have a large parent folder "Product Line" that contains various products and files associated within it. Within Product Line, there are several folders like Product XYZ, Product ABC, Product QRS, etc which then contain information associated with that product. Hi, I have the following issue with Photoshop 26.5.0: say the active tool is the "Move Tool" and the active layer is a text layer, and I want to modify the content of this text layer. Usually what I do is I press "T" on my keyboard and it makes the "Type Tool" active. Then I can modify the text layer the way I want. That's fine.But unfortunately, this doesn't work for me anymore. What happens now when I press "T" on my keyboard is: _ the "Type Tool" becomes active_ but as soon as I release the "T" key the active tool switches back to the "Move Tool"_ If I change the active tool for something else, say the "Lasso Tool" for example, the same issue happens: I press "T" which makes the "Type Tool" active until I release the "T" key, and the active tool immediately switches back to the "Lasso Tool" again. In other words, the shortcut fails.Is anyone having the same issue?How can I fix this?Thanks a lot for your help, it's much appreciated, 

Hello everyone.I'm wondering if it's somehow possible to achieve what I have in mind:Convert the image to 32-bit color depth.Change the color space to ACES AP0 (I'm using the color profile from the RawTherapee program).And then, convert the image to 16-bit color depth while maintaining the ACES AP0 space, without Photoshop internally reconverting it to sRGB?What I'm finding is that when I create an action, after the conversion to 16-bit, Photoshop automatically converts the image to the sRGB color space, which has a much narrower gamut than ACES AP0, and that's precisely what I want to avoid. I want to achieve the highest possible quality conversion into a wider gamut to have more latitude for color correction.I've noticed that with this profile (ACES AP0), Photoshop performs the best color correction using automatic curves, especially for old scanned images. Also, the Kodak Digital ROC plugin (which I use in a separately installed 32-bit version of PS CC2018) responds best to the ACES

Not sure if this is a Photoshop glitch or a problem with my keyboard but the circular brush cursor occasionally disappears. Firstly, caps is not on, secondly, I haven't made the brush size too big for the screen. I've been having a problem recently with my Mac where my caps lock gets stuck on and I have to do a PRAM reset to turn it off, I initially thought the Photoshop brush problem was related to this but it happens now even when my caps is off.I've noticed a string of problems popping up in InDesign 2017 on the new iMac I work on due to the graphics card etc. so I thought it might be version related.Any ideas?

so making emotes, for some reason now they have lil white favs has the white which is png, and smashfavs is webp... this was never an issue before and cant figure out why its doing this... yes on rgb, use saving via for web, yes have tested the quality settings of bicubic.. so if i uncheck everything and put a shape in and save it all black has white around, new layer and saves as normal all black no white so cause i imported a image did it do something with how it saves now? or cause i left text after changing it on a shape layer an didnt raz it?

Je rencontre actuellement un problème avec Adobe Photoshop et l'extension Caméra Raw.  J'ai initialement utilisé ces applications sur un double écran, mais maintenant, je travaille uniquement sur mon ordinateur portable, sans écran externe. Le souci est que la fenêtre pop-up de Caméra Raw ne s'affiche plus sur mon écran principal, et je ne peux ni l'utiliser ni la déplacer (j'ai l'impression qu'elle se place sur sur le second écran qui n'existe plus...).  J'ai essayé de résoudre le problème en désinstallant Photoshop, en installant une version bêta, mais le problème persiste. Please, please, please can the Adobe developers stop Photoshop from resetting my shortcuts everytime an update is installed on my PC. It gets REALLY annoying.

When I send pictures from Lightroom to Photoshop (all latest updates installed) photoshop opens but it doesn't show the picture. I can only send pictures when I send them as smart objects. However, after editting and on closing the pictures an error pops up. Error 21: undefined is not an object. Line 1 ->The editted file is saved, but doesn't show up in Lightroom. I have to synchronize the folder, then they show up. The odd thing is that this problem started today on both my PC and the Mac Book Pro M4. Any idea what I can do about this?

While using Photoshop in Windows 11, the spacebar hand/grabby tool will stop working after a while. I can get it to start working again by minimizing photoshop, and clicking the mouse on the desktop, and then going back into Photoshop. THIS HAPPENS EVERY TIME I USE PHOTOSHOP, and is a very frustrating bug. This has been going on for years, with every build of Photoshop, and has never been satisfactorily addressed. I am currently on :Photoshop 26.5.0Microsoft Windows 11 ProVersion 10.0.26100 Build 2610032.0 GB of RAM

PS Generative Fill doesnt work, the task bar shows the progress, but new layer doesn't appear. Sometimes there is a blink if it did smth and disappears.  26.6.0 release updated today . Use Windows 10

Ce pdf contient des images taggés en Adobe RGB (1998) et non en sRGB et également du texte en Noir 100% (CMJN).Lorsque la fenêtre d'importation de PDF de Photoshop s'ouvre je ne peux pas choisir le mode colorimétrique Adobe RGB 98 mais uniquement le sRGB est proposée.Je sais que je peux toujours exporter un tiff HD depuis Acrobat en conservant l'Adobe RGB 98 mais le crénelage des textes est horrible (visiblement pas d'anti-aliasing sur les exports en image depuis Acrobat).1- Comment importer ce pdf dans photoshop en ayant le choix du mode de couleur autre que sRGB ?2- Si impossible, est que les couleurs subissent une conversion vers l'espace sRGB ou c'est seulement une attribution du profil sRGB sans conversion ?Merci pour votre aide

I have a couple of different user logins to my MacBook Pro, and when I edit in Camera Raw with one login, Camera Raw doesn't use the computer's graphics processor, and when I open the ACR Preferences, instead of being able to select "Auto," "Custom," or "Off," the settings window shows "Camera Raw Graphics Acceleration Is Not Supported By Your System." However, when a different user login is used, Camera Raw uses the graphics processor and everything works as it should. I've tried uninstalling everything Adobe related and reinstalling, but run into the same issue.Without graphics acceleration, cropping or straightening raw photos is painfully slow. I'm using a 2020 13-inch MacBook Pro with Intel Iris Plus Graphics 1536 MB running macOS Big Sur version 11.1 Photoshop is version 22.1.0, and Camera Raw is version 13.1.0.658

For some reason, after downloading the trial for the new Photoshop CC (20.0.0), the free transform tool will only scale proportionally. I used to have to hit shift to constrain it to the same aspect ratio, but it will always do it now, even if I uncheck 'maintain aspect ratio' in the tool properties. Am I missing something obvious? I've never had this issue before in any previous version of Photoshop.

Yesterday's update of Photoshop appears to have wiped out all of my settings.  My two monitor workspace, where I have most of the panels I regularly use, is missing.  My biggest concern is that one of those panels helt my collection of custom actions.I'm sure I can restore everything, as my computer is backed up every night and I have daily backups dating back several weeks.  I'd just like a bit of hand holding so I don't inadvertently make things worse.PS 2025 running on Windows 10 pro. 64 bit.Thank you.George Butch[Personal info removed by moderator]
