I use Photoshop Elements 14. Is there a way to add a copyright symbol in a text layer>

I found some information in the tutorials but when I went back to my Photoshop work space I could not find the information in my menus. Here is what the tutorial recommended:

You may add the copyright symbol using HTML code:

1) Open the page in design view.

2) From the Object menu, select "Insert HTML".

3) Type in:

    & copy;

4) Click OK

I got to this answer when I clicked on an option in the first page of my help request that said it was for Photoshop Elements. I got to this page by clicking on the little blue circle with the "?" in it in the lower right corner of my Expert screen with the text tool on. Thanks for any comments or help.

    Activate the Type Tool

    Press ALT+0169 on the alphanumeric pad on the right side of the keyboard. This brings up the symbol ©

    Another way is to activate the Custom shape tool in PSE. Within that there is a Symbols library, and the copyright symbol can be selected and dragged out. It will come in on a separate layer where you can position it with the move tool.

    Should you need to copyright several files, you can batch process via File>Process multiple files. In the dialog that comes up, look under "Labels" for Watermark

    Thanks for answering my question. I am having trouble with my internet explorer and my chrome doesn't seem to work with the link below so I can't mark the answer "correct" yet. I hope this doesn't ruin everything for you after helping me so well and so quickly.

    You're welcome. Do mark it correct, as that will help others as they come across this thread.
