I have Elements 2020. I am using a Dell XPS Windows PC running Windows 10. When I try to "Share" a photo using Email. Everything works fine until I try to send it to my friend who uses Gmail. Error mesage says "Invalid Credentials Please check email address and password, then try again." Email address I am trying to send to is correct. I have used "Share" via email in the past to this person and everything worked fine. Now it does not.

Hi, I have windows 7 and have been running pse 2018 since i purchased that long ago. the last few days though my program decided it would not send jobs to my printer. i know it's the program because every other program will print to it, even the windows test page. anyone know what's going on? i have removed and reinstalled the printer and that didn't do anything either. i also removed the rest of my printers, and that hasn't helped. 

I purchased Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements 2021 on May 9th and installed it on my NEW HP. It worked well till I tried to use it today (7-21-2021).  Neither application will launch. The window pops up that allows you to choose what you'd like to do. Photoshop says it's loading but doesn't. Premiere acts like it's going to open but does not and I have to "end task" to get it to go away.  I am so disappointed in this program. I had used photoshop for years without issues.  The more I read about the problems, the more discouraged I become. I am not a computer geek. I don't want to go messing in files and uninstalling/reinstalling. I just want it to work or a refund and I'll find something else that does. Has anyone been able to successfully fix it and have it stay fixed?

I have searched all help sources within Adobe and outside Adobe and cannot find a meaning for the icon that has started appearing on thumbnails in the 2021 version of Organizer. It is a circle with a slash through it. Appears on upper right (from the image perspective) of a thumbnail. Unstacking will make them disappear. But, they are appearing in nearly all stacks that have been created. I have been using the image similarity feature to find and stack possible duplicates. Is that a possible cause? What does symbol mean and what to do about thumbnails with it appearing on them?  

I recently had to change my motherboard and cpu. I had not anticipated any problems and everything resarted beautifully. Everything, but Adobe Photoshop Elements which needed a new activation. I tried to deactivate everything on the internet but no way I can get a new activation. I have only one app installed. I called Adobe support and was told I have to purchase the new version and they won't help with a reactivation. Since when is there a time limit on a legal license? I think this is a scam and Adobe has unfair practices. I also own Premier pro CS6, Audition etc... and I am considering trashing all this and starting fresh with honest competitors like Affinity Photo, Hitfilm etc...

Last week my Surface Book died; fortunately my workplace policy covered it and I was provided with a Surface Book 3. On my old machine I'd happily been using Photoshop Elements 13 for illustration purposes. I downloaded this to the new machine but the Surface pen behaves very erratically - making marks that are two inches to the right of where the pen nib touches the screen, and lines jumping wildly, unrelated to where I am drawing. I've downloaded the trial version of Elements 2021 to see if it is an incompatibility issue with older software but the pen doesn't work at all there either. I've tried:- Checking for Microsoft's updates and installing- Downloading and installing Wintab- Uninstalling the relevant Human Interface drivers and restarting None of these have worked. The pen works in other (non Adobe) programs, eg Affinity Photo, and I can use it for the menus in Photoshop but not for drawing. I'm half way through illustrating a graphic novel so I re

Going round in circles with what should be a simple task I thought…I want to overlay the lines and text shown on a plan on top of an air photo.   The plan is available on line and can be downloaded to print but only to print (not as a graphic file). I have a scanned version as both a jpg and tif which obviously has the white background, which I would like to remove prior to overlaying it on the photo, which is also available as either .jpg or .tif.  A transparent layer doesn’t work as the lines and text become illegible.I have tried erasing the white with magic eraser which works fine and just leaves the lines and text.  However when it’s overlaid on the photo, I need to resize and although the images are of similar physical size (5 and 7 inches wide respectively) I can’t make them line up properly without losing all definition of the lines and text. I must be missing a step in resizing or the file format somewhere but can’t see where.  Also, if the plan i

I have a vision of assigning a location/GPS to all my photos so I can easily see if any new photos import without location (i.e. Unpinned photos).  There are some photos that either 1) I don't care where the photo was taken  or 2) I have no idea where the photo was taken.  I thought if I could assign a "dummy" location to a photo, I would then know at I dispositioned its location.  I read of the concept of "Null Island" which is a fictional place at 0 degrees N and 0 Degrees E. Is there a way to assign specific GPS coordinates (i.e. 0 N,0 E) to a photo?  Is there another way to meet my requirement?  (Santa Claus House is a known location in PSE, maybe that would work).  TIA

i have 2020 . do i need to buy 2021 or is it a free download? Also i have downloaded 2021 photoshop on a trial but there is no sky replacenet. Help

Is Adobe Bridge free to install and use with Photoshop Elements? 

I hope someone can help me with using photo merge group shot.  I'm trying to merge two photos.  I follow the instructions but the photos do not merge.  I've contacted customer support twice, but they are unable to help me. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have 200 jpg files that I would like to put into a slide show.  Each photo should show for 10 seconds then disolve to the next photo.  No other special effects needed.How can I do that?Frank

I am unable to edit photos on Elements 2021 Version 19,Its not the only problem i have had,,I had a problem  backing up my photos which i think i have sorted  plus i kept getting a message saying i had insufient ram which is not right but i did move my software to another drive which helped with the error message apearing, i am running windows 10 and i need help! Trevor jones

Hi, I'm using Photoshop Elements 2021 with the latest update. When ever I want now to backup my catalog (either full back up or just the meta data) I get a pop up that the back is getting prepared. So far so good, but then nothing happens. In Windows Task Manager I can see that s tatus of Photoshop Elements is no response. I have around 16 300 pictures in this library. Also it seems that the creation of the miniatures fail. The message in the lower left hand corner says quite a while now 3 of 10000 created, without any progress. Best Sven

When I set color management items such as brightness, it gets changed to no color management before I print. Also I turn off high speed and it gets turned on again

I just bought/upgraded Photoshop Elements and now I find Creative Cloud running on my computer. How do I get this uninvited curse off my computer. It won't allow me to uninstall.

PSE Organizer gathers certain media file information/data and stores them in its catalog/database when the file is first imported.  Is there a way to force the Organizer to refresh that information for individual, selected, or all files in the catalog There are reasons, but I'd like not to open a discussion on the use of only PSE to manage media file (meta)data vs the user of individual tools (or file system capabilities) which are specifically designed for such tasks. If such a thing is possible, what are the rules for what gets refreshed? As I wrote the above, I realized that it is probably not available.  This is a sync problem with changes possible on both sides.  Which is most recent?  Who wins?  How does PSE know whether I want the time changes that I made in PSE or the (presumably new changed) values in the file EXIF data?  Which ratings?  Which tags?Anyway, I'd still be interested in what if anything like this is available.&nbsp

I put in the serial number for Photoshop Elements 21 that I purchased and installed yesterday and it shows that I registered my old version 19. Now I can't get any help for version 21. How do I fix this?

Everything converted correctly BUT I can't access the file, edit menu.When I click on them nothing happens.

I want to print the user manual for PSE 2018 but I can't find a printable version.  In the past Adobe has made a pdf version available, but it does not appear to be the case with this new edition.  Is there one available now and if so, where?  Is there ever going to be a printable version available?  Thanks for any help about this.

I have a Huawei Matebook Pro from 2018. It has a dedicated 2gb Nvidia MX150 card in it. But Photoshop Elements 2020 only seems to detect the integrated Iris as the 'gpu'. I cannot seem to figure out how to get the GPU to work with Photoshop here. Like when I pinch to zoom for example it doesn't scroll smoothly, it's so choppy. My Macbook from 2012 is way smoother. Any suggestions? When I go into preferences it only gives me GPU tweak settings for facial features, and even there it doesn't detect the MX150.

Hello,I have an issue with Photoshop elements since last week and its very annoying to work arround.When i insert a text field and starting typing, i dont see the text until i finishing typing, then click somewhere else and wait a bit.This is also the case when for example i make a selection on a photo, then i dont see the selection bars until i click on the cursor in the tool bar Since i use photoshop elements alot for videos this is very annoying for me 😞(i also tested this on the trial 2021 version and i have the same issueWhat i already triedpreferences => general => reset preferences on next launchreinstalled the 2020 versioninstalled the 2021 version same issueI also googled this and some say its with gpu acceleration, but as far as i know elements doens,t do thisTried to make an image of the issue in paint.   

Hi friends,I am having problem with my clone stamp. I have Photoshop elements 2020.Clone stamp functions well with my left side alt+click of the keyboard.On the right side of key board, if I press alt+click, I get a black arrow head symbol as shown in the attachment.I did resetting the tools and also under preference -I reset the setting but no use.Even fresh re-installing of PE 2020 did not help!Can you help me please.Thank you in advance.Mickams

Upgraded from photoshop/ premiere elements 8 to 14 jan 2016.  Have had problems since and no time to troubleshoot.  Currently elements won't open.  The Organizer will open but when the editor is clicked on the program will not open.  same thing happens when I click on a photo and click 'open with'.  I've reinstalled the program 3 times without resolution.  Is there not actual adobe support for this product? Windows 7, 64 bit

I recently bought Photoshop for myself so I could have it on my laptop instead of using my stepdad's computer to edit photos. I am used to using the Guided section to achieve the editing I do and am used to the layout of Guided on his computer. But for some reason, all the tools and categories are along the right side of the screen, while on my version the tabs are on the top of the screen and there are pictures of the tools or "edits" that the tools do. I find the interface I have too busy for my liking and wish to return to the simple tabs and drop downs on the right side of the screen and being able to see my photo at all times while going through the tools. I am unsure what version his Photoshop is, but even then I am unsure how to even revert the version I have on my laptop. Any help would be appreciated, I hope I explained my problem clearly.
