I made sure the background color swatch in the lower left of the tool box was set to blue.  Then I went to Image>Resize>Canvas Size> and changed the sizes.  Then I set the Color Extension to the background color blue, and the little box to the right of this showed the blue I wanted.Then I clicked OK.The sizes changed properly, but the color won't change colors at all.  It stays an ugly putty brown, no matter that I have tried every single way in that color extension box pull-down menu.Any help will be much appreciated.

Hello friends, I am unable to transfer an rwl photo from leica to jpg with photoshop elements 2021, you can put it step by step, I first open a photo, I get camera raw, I fix it, for example crop, and then what do I do?,

I lost my Photoshop Elements 14 app on my desktop Windows 10 computer sometime ago. I have a functioning app on a laptop computer. I understand that I can have a copy on both computers as long as only one can be in use at a time. I have gone to my Adobe account and downloaded a copy of the app and installed it. However, while opening the app I got a messasge that I can't use the app. It is saying that I am already using the maximum number of copies. I am attempting to use the app on the same computer that I lost the orginal copy, even though my app list did not show an installed copy before I started this process. How do I correct this problem?

I have PSE 2021, Editor version 19.0 (20210304.m.156367) x64, Organiser version 19.0 (20210126.m.155261). No updates available for either as Update button greyed out. I also have DNG converter 13.2.0.738 (the latest I think).PSE camera raw is version 13.0 and there seems no way to update it to version 13.2 which should support RAW files from my alpha 1. I have tried the DNG converter on both my desktop and laptop computers and it cannot see any RAW files, even if I change the preferences to compatability with camera raw 13.2 and later. When I change this to 13.2 it reverts to 12.4 when I close and reopen DNG converter.As far as I can see I will have to wait until PSE 2022 is released, or buy Photoshop which contains much more functionality than I am ever going to use.Can anybody help?

Bonjour à tousJe travaille sur Mac OS Big SurMise à jour (achetée) de l’ancienne version il y a 15 jours pour PHPE 2021.A fonctionnée quelques jours puis en cours de travail  fermeture inopinée   lors de l'utilisation ; message :“ version d’évaluation terminée”J'ai contacté Adobe qui m'ont renvoyé une autre mise à jour, mais je rencontre toujours le même problème. Les réinstallations se passent bien jusqu’à  l'entrée du N° de série. Une fenêtre s'ouvre  mais  Photoshop Eléments 2021 ne s’affiche pas correctement ; seulement dans la barre des menus figurent  la “pomme”  et Photoshop Eléments 2021”.  

My PSE 14 Backup is on an external hard drive which is nearly full. Can I compress the drive to reduce it's size instead of immediately buying another hard drive?

Hi all,I've recently purchased a new PC with Win 7 64bit. I also purchased a new copy of Elements 9. As a user of elements previous incarnations and CS3 I have to say that I find this version is quite annoying, at least the way it performs in the Win 7 environment. Anyway, these will be for another post, for now, my major cause of grief stems around the Polygonal Lasso tool!It will just auto complete on its own, if I pause for a second, it completes, if I blink, the same. Now there is another thread  http://forums.adobe.com/thread/376551 in which the user complained of the same thing, unfortunately it was not resolved as the topic became sidetracked regarding the use of tablet pens and various mice issues, all of which do not pertain to my problem as I have tried various mice, pens and even suffered the pain of trying a laptop touch pad, all with the same results... zero, the bug or whatever it is persists.I have not double clicked by accident, I have tried running in compatibilit

I just purchased the 2021 Adobe Photoshop Elements app and have been trying to do a face swap, but realized that my toolbar is missing many options including the auto-align and auto-blend for layers. My Edit option on the tool bar has very few options (the same 10 options from my old photoshop from 10 years ago) and I can't figure out why the newest photoshop does not have more show up on my toolbar.

I got a new HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All-in-One to replace my old Epson MFP. In all honesty, I use a MFP far more for scanning than for printing, given the price of ink. However, I am not totally happy with the scan quality of the new HP, using the included HP Smart software, as compared with the old Epson. There's a lack of features, such as despeckle/descreen when scanning halftone images, and I find the scanner is not capturing the tonal range of black and white printed (halftone) images as compared to the old Epson. Scanning an 8.5 x 11 image at 600 DPI, I am noticing a blowout in very light highlight areas of the image.  Looking at the original with a magnifying glass, I can see the halftone goes all the way across the highlight areas, but, blowing the scan up on the screen, I see it is losing the halftone in the lightest highlight areas, and is even introducing artifacts that are not present in the original.  I called HP support and they said the scan function of the HP S

I keep trying to draw on photoshop, only for my stylus (microsoft surface pen) to draw in the wrong spot. for example if i point directly at the center i see nothing, but once i move to the upper left corner, the lines i draw there, show up down on the right side, or center right as i move further, why wont it do what i want in the exact spot? its the only app acting this way...

Hi,I recently upgraded my photoshop elements and now I cannot find where the "blend if" tool is located. It use to be within FX effects at the bottom of the layer column on the lefthand side. Using it to colorize B&W photos. Pictured is the old set up of where to find it.Would appreciate any insight on this. Thanks,Roger

Trying to install photoshop elements 2020 & premiere on a new Mac Pro My first time trying to install.

I have manged for 17 years to backup my Organizer, but now have a major problem.   It saves 97% and then simply stops as I try to save it to external hard drive.  Have tried for 3 weeks now.  I have 127,000 pictures and this represnets my photographic career as a semi-pro photograher.  It is 17 years of work, and I need it fand Albums for my website etc.I need to transfer to a 2tb laptop as I am running out of space.I think it might be to do with the cloud or OneDrive, neither of which I know about, nor need, but do not know what to do.  I cannot really bring my laptop to a file specialist as it takes 6 hours to reach the stage of 97% and then just stops.  I would be grateful for any advice.  Thank you (from the UK).

I'm having trouble trying to install a Camera Raw plug-in for Elements 9.Previously running OK on my old Windows 7 laptop and XP desktop, but now I have a new computer with Windows 10. My camera is a Canon 60d which produces raw files with a .CR2 extension but I'm unable to open them. Which is the right plug-in version to install?

The cursor (circle) disappears against some backgrounds. How can I make the circle thicker?

I have PSE21 running on a Mac (OS 10.14.6 - Mojave).  I purchased a bunch of filter presets for Camera Raw (Kelvin Designs) and followed the directions to move the xmp files.  (Go-->computer-->HD-->UserProfile-->Library-->Application Support-->Adobe-->Camera Raw-->Settings.)  But I can't find them when I open PS.  If I go straight to Camera Raw, the adjustment slider button doesn't bring the filters up, and if I start in the editor and clicker the filter tab at the top, Camera Raw Filter is not even an option.  One prior post suggested going into my preferences and unchecking the "use graphics processor..." button under performance.   Any suggestions? I'm running out of options.   FWIW, my Camera Raw window (version 13) looks very different from all the examples I've seen in youtube howto's. 

I am have a brand new Dell laptop with a newly installed Windows (not an upgrade).  64bit OS.Installed Elements 2021:    version 19.0 (20210304.m.156367) x64When I click the Organizer icon, Elements spins for a few minutes, then returns without launching the organizer.I've tried all the steps I could find in the forums and help sections.  No luck.  I have yet to ever see the organizer.Please help.

Hello,After a pc crash I had to reset my pc to factory condition. I have been trying to redeem Photoshop Elements 2018 for which I have the serial number for. I can see it in my account but cannot see a download link. Following the advise to download older versions it just keeps going round and round to the same pages.Can anyone please advise.Many thanks for taking the time to read this.Stay safe,Sid.

I have purchased Photoshop Elements 2021 and Premier Elements 2021 and installed them on my MS Surface Laptop and my MS Surface Studio Desktop.  When I open Photoshop Elements on the Laptop, I see the Quick mode, Guided mode and Expert mode as options.  On the Surface Studio, there is no such selection...only the Quick mode is available.  I'd really like to have the full functionality on the desktop device! Any ideas what the problem might be?  

With the Organizer there is no problem. Everything works correctly. But the Photo Editor when I select it on the initial screen, the program starts fast, but I can't do anything, nor select any menu until after 40 seconds. The program is inoperative during these 40 seconds. After these 40 seconds everything works normally and without delays. The computer is a Microsoft Surface i7 16GB RAM. Windows 10 Home. Everything up to date. Everything is running very smoothly. Does anyone know of a solution? 

Ich benutze Adobe Elements 2021 auf meinem IMAC mit MAC OS Big Sur.Es ist furchtbar nervig, dass man in den Bereichen "Tags bzw. Info" und in dem "Ordner bzw. Alben" nur mit der Maus scrollen kann, wenn man den Mauszeiger auf die schmale Scrollleiste plaziert. Das sollte doch auch gehen. wenn die Maus an irgendeiner Stelle in den genannten Bereichen plaziert ist. Bei dem Bereich mit den Vorschaubildern klappt es doch auch.Oder gibt es hierfür eine Lösung in den Einstellungen? 

The PSE 2021 folder contains another folder labeled "Support Files." In it you will find Adobe Photoshop Editor. Drag that to your Dock, or double-click it, and you're in business. Thanks, Adobe, for making it simple to avoid the Welcome Screen. – Grandpa Grammar.
