Questions

I have nearly 55,000 photos and movies that I am about to reorganize and catalogue using PSE 2020 on a Windows 10 laptop. I know there is theoretically no limit to the size of a PSE catalogue but I still think it would be wise to split them into separate catalogues. What should be my guideline for how big the catalogues can become before it will become awkward or slow to use the program? (The photos have come from earlier systems running Windows 7 and its predecessors, and many were previously catalogued on those laptops with PSE 9 and earlier versions. I have eliminated all or most of the duplicates. I also have saved the keyword tags on all that were catalogued and I have tested and find they are imported successfully into a test catalogue.)

The new 2021 has a printing issue. The hand and cross both move the image on the print task.It does not allow you to position image on the paper. Needs fix.

How can I install Photoshop & Premier Elements 2019 on new computer without CD drive?  I still have the original installation serial numbers from when I bought the software 2-years ago.

Is Elements 2021 compatible with MAS OS Big Sur

PSE 2021 won't load it says Loading Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor Workspace and then stays at that point.  It was running ok since I installed it.  I haven't as far as I know changed anything.  Looks like it is trying to access some workspace that it needs and can't .  Any ideas?  Thanks

Hi,I’m still struggling with the same Adobe problem and would really appreciate some help to resolve this.I recently purchased, downloaded and installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 and Premiere Elements 2020 onto my iMac desktop. I’m running on OSX 10.13.6 Sierra - which is compatible with these versions of software.Elements and Premier open without issue but Elements Organiser does not. It crashes on start-up each time. Consequently, this renders Photoshop Elements to be useless unless resolved.So far I have tried:1 - Uninstall, restart and reinstall software.2 - Checked for updates to my graphics card.3 - Run a Disc Utilities diagnostics 4 - Turn off and on my Mac.5 - Tried to update preferences but the instructions provided by Adobe do not match the options given on my computer.6 - Checked the Apple forums which appear to indicate that this could be an Adobe software problem. I attach some screenshots of: 1 - what I see when I try to open Organiser, 2 - what I see when I

Hi, I am still using Photoshop Elements 9 on my Windows PC and it does what I want without a need to upgrade.  Now I just bought a MacBook Air M1 and I want to use PSE9 on it.  I do have both original CDs (Win and Mc OS) but I don't have a CD reader on the Mac.  I opened the Mac OS disk on my Win PC and copied the files to a Samsung T5 external SSD, then opened those files on my Macbook, but the installer is 'defective', so unusable.  Apparently this procedure doesn't work, like I feared.  Is there a way or should I simply buy an external DVD/CD reader for the Macbook OR buy PSE2021...?  Thanks.

When trying to print an image, I can not get the image on the page in the position I want it to print.Once the centre image box is unchecked, it does not allow me to enter dimensions in the top and left boxes so the image can be printed anywhere on the page.I'm wondering if this is because it is a free trial version as I have used this feature many times my PSE11.

My Desktop PC runs Windows 10 and has two drives, C and E. The latter, E, is a backup – a clone of drive C created twice weekly.I’ve recently gone back to using Photoshop Elements 10 as an organiser, having not used it for several years. I find that if I import photographs from the C drive, then the next time I look at them PSE has linked instead to the copies on the E drive. If I edit one, the edited version is on the E drive rather than on C.I tried removing the photos from the catalogue and then adding them back again, just in case I made a mistake when importing, but it still links to the versions on the E drive. I then tried disconnecting the E drive. PSE then shows the files correctly, until I reconnect the E drive, and after the next reboot PSE once again shows the versions from the E drive.Does anybody understand what’s going on?

I have posted this before with no helpful answer so let me ask again - I have a Samsung Android phone with pictures, when i attach my phone to my laptop and try to import, my phone is not recognised. Why is this and how can I get PSE to link to my phone?

Can you use the serial number and download Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 on my Apple Air Pad2. And if so, can you giv me the steps to do it.

Hi,I have just installed Photoshop Elements 2020 and Premiere Elements 2020 on my Mac OSX 10.13.6.I did not install the 2021 versions because this requires the newer OSX 10.14 and above. Both appear to be working (in that they open) but Elements Organiser will not open, crashing on each attempt. I am therefore unable to upload any photos at the moment.I have checked for updates to my graphgics card (although I believe these are automatic with Apple), I have uninstalled, re-started my computer and re-installed the software - all without success. Can anyone help with this please? I attach a screenshot of the message I receive. Thanks. 

I've been using PSE for many years. I am mostly happy with the latest version (there are some things it does by default that I often have to modify, such as file type) but I had to use a hack to bypass the organizer which I never use & go directly to the editor. I will never be able to get a new version as it is incompatible with Microsoft Windows 7. That OS gives me no problems & I see no reason to change.My PSE 2020 cheerfully nags me every few days: You have an update! Here's what you're getting!: camera raw.I do not want, need, or will ever use camera raw! I resent being nagged to install something against my will! I have to put up with it as there's no way to shut it up.When I came here to post, it said I had to change my password, & to do so I had to enter a security code which it would send to my mobile phone. I never got it after several tries. Too many, apparently, as I became locked out. I had to spend 10 minutes with a chat bot to get an email link to reset my pa

Is Photoshop Elements 2021 a qualifying product to allow the use of ACR with Adobe Bridge? I've downloaded and installed Bridge but it wont let me open ACR as I need a qualifying product. I do have Photoshop Elements 2021 installed already which I installed prior to installing Bridge. I appreciate that Organiser is included with PSE and also has ACR but I'm struggling to use Orgnaiser with my M1 Mac, the scrolling is so laggy its unusable so I thought bridge would be a good alternative.

Hi, I'm new to the Adobe Community.I'm running on an old iMac (Sierra OSX 10.13.6) and want to purchase Photoshop. I note that the new version (2021) is not compatible with my Mac (requiring OSX 10.14 and above). I therefore wanted to download a stand alone version of Elements 2020. I intend to run this on my desktop and my laptop. However, I might be in a position to upgrade to a new desktop later this year. Would I be able to download Elwements 2020 onto the new computer or would I find that because I'd already downloaded it to this computer and a laptop, I would be unable to use it on the new computer? Just wondering what my best option might be. Thanks.

I am having multiple crashing issues with Photo Downloader on a new M1 Mac with Photoshop Elements 2021. For example if I use the import function in Organiser for 'Camera and Card Reader' it ranonly crashes if I click on any of the dialogue box buttons. Its very unstable.

I purchased Photoshop Elements 2020 software. (Not just a 30 day trial.) When I launch the photo editor, I am prompted to "license this software" by typing in the serial number. When I do so, I am able to use the editor. Why do I have to do this every single time I launch the editor? This wasn't the case with PS 2018.

I like how cleanly Guided Object Removal highlights part of a photo. Can I copy the highlighted part and then paste it in another photo?thanks

Is Photoshop/Premiere Elements available within my membership "Creatice Cloud All Apps"? If not, its really not okay - we pay for the full package!

Does PSE 2021 support having the catalog on a network drive yet? Despite Adobe not recommending it, we have been storing our catalog on a network drive for both PSE 5 and (currently) PSE 11.  Since my wife and I both share the catalog from 2 different PCs, it is the only (?) solution.  Of course, having *anything* on a NAS with redundant drives is a good idea. PSE can be prodiguously slow for certain operations (even on reasonably fast spec PCs), but we tolerate it for the safety and convenience of having the catalog on redundant network storage.  However, I dream of the day when Adobe finally realise that being able to have the catalog on  network storage is a good idea.

Hi, my OS is Big Sur 11.1. On this my Premiere Elements 2019 (Vers. 17.0) and Photoshop Elements (Vers. 18.0) don't work.As I found out, Elements 2021 (Photoshop and Premiere still have some problems with Big Sur. Does anybody know when all problems will be solved so I can upgrade to the 2021 versions?

I just installed Photoshop Elements 2021. Created a couple of events. Couldn't make event group. Event group list is empty. I don't see the way to add new event group.
