Questions

I have a number of PNG files which are frames that I would like to be able to load into photoshop elements 2021. Does anyone know how to do this? Is it even possible? Do these files have to be a different format rather the PNG?

ProblemMy folder listing is in date order year,month,date I want the listing to begin with the lastest date ie 2020 descending down to yeae 2001 Organiser is setting the folders in accending order ie start date year 2001 down to year 2020 I want to be in control of folder listing. Please can anybody help and  advise how this can be resolved.OS Windows 10JG (UK) 

Hi gang,I have a rather annoying issue: every once in a while PSE refuses to start (see attachment). I usually see the splashscreen and then things stall and I can basically wait forever for something to happen. This has happened 3 times in a row so far. The problem also manifests itself with the welcome screen: this one doesn't open either. Resetting the configuration doesn't help because the folder "%APPDATA%\Adobe\Photoshop Elements" gets automatically recreated with a few files, but PSE doesn't start. So far I managed to resolve this issue by re-installing PSE (so removing & re-installing while keeping my configuration), however this also means that I have to re-activate the software by entering my serial number. So far, so good, but I'm wondering how much longer this will work for me because you can only activate a copy so many times. Up until now I had no idea what could be causing all this but it just occurred to me that my public IP address is the only differ

I am currently using Photoshop Elements (PSE) 14, for windows 10, and thinking upgrading it to PSE 21. Has someone experience with this, does it work?  What about my current organiser, will it stay intact? Johan Jansen

Elements Organizer says I need to install a codec to view AVI videos. How do I do that? QuickTime Player    works. How do I tell Elements Organizer to use that codec? Where is it? 

Hello, users. I have package Adobe Elements 2018. Last time when I try to open Adobe Elements Organizer 2018 it hangs during inicialisation MediaCore. How I can resolve this problem? Do you have any idea? I have Windows 10 operating system. I will be grateful for your help. 

Unable to get Slideshow to work in Elements Organizer 2021 (Windows). It worked for the first couple of weeks after the original installation, but now I get a screen message that says "No themes found. Reinstall the application to use the slideshow function". Have reinstalled Photoshop Elements but to no avail. The themes folder seems to be in place with files within. Basicly i just want to create high school yearbook or brochore photo books just using the scanned pages that i have without using any of the Photoshop templates, anyone know how to do this?

When attempting to install Camera Raw 13 update to Photoshop Elements 19 receive msg "No results found when searching for auphd in Microsoft store.  Installed ACR 13.0 via creative cloud but APE not updated. Suggestions?

I'm making a Christmas Quiz for use on Zoom.I've grabbed web pictures and used PE 18 to crop down to small parts for identification.The problem is most of my Crops enlarge happily to Full Screen, but some frustratingly only appear the same tiny size with a big black surround.Why?And how can I creat Crops that ALWAYS go to Full Screen. Nigel

I just noticed a problem reproducing colors when opening files in Elements 13.  See the examples above:  the top file was downloaded directly from my SD card onto the (Mac) desktop.  For the other one, I opened the downloaded photo in Elements and saved it, without any modifications, right back to the desktop.  I get the same result whether or not I go through Camera Raw.  In the first photo, the petals on the flower on the left have a rich, silky pink color, where in the other photo the overall look is more "bland" and somewhat washed out.  Zooming up helps to see the difference.  I have chosen "no color management" under color settings, because this gives the closest result to the original.  Still, this is unsatisfactory.  What settings do I need to change?

Use Photoshop elements for may years, Using a MacBook pro 2019 with Catalina 10.11.7 I just upgraded both to 2021, I uninstalled the 2019 versions and installed 2021, neither editor will open from the elements portal, thy start to load and stop. they DO open if I open them directly from the support folder. PLEASE ADVICE.

Can't install Camera Raw Elements 13.0 update for PSE 2020 on my iMac.  Running macOS Big Sur.  When I click "install", get message "There is no application set to open the URL..... "  Now can't close PSE 2020 editor without doing force quit.  Need information to complete installation or how to dismiss the update.

Just purchased and installed Elements 2021 on my HP laptop running Windows 10. Have never installed Elements before on this machine. I do have Photoshop CC 2018 and Acrobat DC installed and they work fine. When I attempt to launch Elements 2021, nothing displays at all. Task Manager shows it is running (and using 25 - 30 % of the CPU) but nothing at all is displayed on the screen. Nothing. No error messages or diaplogs of any kind. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing to no avail. Not sure what to do next. Posting here in hopes of finding a solution, before I request my money back from BestBuy. Does anyone have any idea what I can try to get this software running? I am a Windows configuration support person, so I am familiar with Windows and installing/uninstalling software, but this one is really stumping me. Thanks. Ric Olson

Hallo,ich habe mir nach vielen Jahren ein neues Adobe Elements 21 gegönnt.Nun hab ich das Problem, dass ich mein Wasserzeichen nicht mehr in die Pinselauswahl bekomme.Früher ging das einfach über \Bearbeiten\ Pinsel aus Auswahl aufnehmen.Wie funktioniert das jetzt?Und wer das Elements 21 hat - hängt das bei euch beim Start auch erst mal auf, bevor man dann damit arbeiten kann?Danke

Just installed Elements 2021.  First the menu items were miniscule.  Fortunatley, found a fix on line.  Now when trying to use Guided or Quick Fix a box is stuck in the middle of the screen, obscuring the photo.  Please see the picture included.  I can't find any solution on line.  Please help.

I use Bridge that came with my Photoshop CS5 extensively and my eyes are suffering from the tiny font. I saw Bridge 2021 recently. Does it come with Photoshop Elements 2021? 

I recently upgraded from PSE 2018 to PSE 2020.Everything went smoothly except now if I move photos within Organizer from one folder to another, they move but then disappear from view. I can see on my hard drive that they have been moved to the appropriate folder but they do not show up in organiser. If I search for the filename, Organizer finds it but then when I click "go to folder" the photo is not there. So the only way to view these photos if I know the filename and then search for it. I have repaired and optimized the catalog, deleted photos and then re-imported. I have also tried adding new photos to a folder on my hard drive (a folder that already exists in organizer) and then importing those and the same thing happens.  I do not have hidden files. I cannot for the life of me understand what is happening.

With the usual apologies for no doubt asking a dumb question, here goes.  I have a sprinkling of confidential photos that I store in Elements as Hidden Files.  If I edit one of these photos and want to save the edit without over-writing the original ('Save As') the default seems to be that the newly edited version is stored in Photos on my C drive where of course it is no longer hidden.  To get around this I 'Save As' to an encrypted USB drive, but is there a simpler solution?

After opening a project and want to go to another one how to open new one without closing program to work on another project?
