Photoshop Elements 2018 Organizer takes 2 minutes to load

I just upgraded from PE 12 to PE 2018 and now when I start organizer, it takes over 2 minutes to load. Most of the time is "initiating mediacore". PE12 organizer starts up in 20 seconds. Any suggestions.

    Can you provide with the hardware configurations of your system?

    I have the same problem, but in my case it takes over 5 minutes to start Organizer most of the times in initiating mediacore.

    CPU AMD A8-5600K running 3,7 GHZ. 4 CPU's

    8 GB Internal memory.

    Drive C:  SSD 256GB.

    Drive D:  1000GB

    PE 2018 is installed on drive D:

    Photo's are installed on drive ( > 250.000)
