Trying to make a movie and when I opened the program today I have green and black lines going across the entire screen. Can someone help? I have deleted the movie and uninstalled the program and reinstalled. Still have the lines. 

Hello,I was, till December 2nd, using 2019 i.e. 17 versions of PsE and PrE. On December 3rd I purchased online the 2021 versions of these softwares and installed them with success, without uninstalling previous 17 version.I was successful in adapting a previous Element Organizer catalog to a 2021 version.On the contrary, I face numerous difficulties in using a previous PrE 17 project: even after inactivating 2021 Autoanalyser on machine start, my PrE projects often crashes and an error generator is created: I just filled one and sent it to Adobe.In order to be able to operate normaly PrE 19, should I first uninstall 17 and 19 versions, then reinstall the new 19 version ?I have looked ad various Adobe help articles and did not found any answer to this simple question.Last question : should I do the same with PsE, i.e. uninstalle 17 and 19 versions and then reinstall 19 version ? Something seems to be strange with Pan & Zoom in PE 2021 compared to PE 14 (on Windows).I have photos of landscapes (no faces).  With PE 14 I would select the clip with the image & adjust the focus frames 1 & 2. With PE 2021 when I open the Pan & Zoom tool I get the two focus frames but I cannot move frame 1.When I click on frame 1 it opens up a new frame 2 which I can move (what was frame 2 is now frame 3).The only thing I can do with frame 1 is to delete it - then the new frame 1 (was the inserted frame 2) can be moved & resized OK.Seems a rather odd state of affairs.  Am I missing something?

Hi,which image format do I have to create for a bluray-disc or dvd?I use Nero Burning to create a bluray and dvd because my extern bluray writer is not compatiblewith Premiere Elements 2021.I tried different kinds of formats. No format works.Pls help, I´m a little bit desperated.ThxHendrik

I just grabbed premiere elements 20 since Pinnacle Studio has given me issues for years. So far Premiere has been great, but seems to have one fatal flaw that is making it unusable to me. I run encryption software that acts like a removeable drive. After I "unlock" my encrypted drive it shows up as a drive in windows which gets treated like removeable media. My issue is that I have several Terabytes of clips on this encrypted drive that I need to use in Premiere, but it wont let me use them without importing them first. I DO NOT want to have to copy the files off the encrypted drive to another location just to use them in premiere since this would defeat the purpose of me using encryption. I will always have the encrypted drive running so premiere has access to the files when editing / rendering. Is there anyway I can trick premiere into thinking my encrypted drive is a network drive and not removeable media?

Please see the attached screenshot. Just bought Premiere Elements 2021, used on a fairly new laptop with i7 8850 prcessor, 32 GB memory) (Dell Precision). But, immediately after I loaded any photo or video into the project working space, the upper half of the work space will be glitched like in the attached screenshot. Howver, if  I export the project out, the finished product looks just fine. I am completely new to Adobo Premiere. Anyone could give me some suggestion on what could go wrong? Appreciate it!   

Installed Premiere Elements 2021 on 12/1 and although I can import files (seems slow)-audio track is showing "blank" even though the clip has audio. When played there is no sound.  Background and trouble shooting so far. Ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.  -Using a 3 month old Dell XPS Workstation, Windows 10 OS, operating system and drivers up to date. -Until I "upgraded" was using Premiere Elements 2018 (still have it installed on the workstation)-Verified video clips (tested several) work in Premiere Elements 2018 with no problem. Can edit - there is audio - and the audio is displayed - all good. After editing can export. -Here is one of the same video clips in PE 2021 - shows no audio on the video clip.     -In Premiere Elements 2021 changed the Audio Hardware Input default to none (originally the app. picked up the Yeti mic that was attached but the audio section was showing no audio). Closed and tried again. No luck.-Removed

I just bought Premiere Elements 2021 but it will not install on Windows 7, and requires Windows 10. (For good reasons, I can not update my computer to Windows 10). Can anyone tell me what was the last version of Premiere Elements that runs on Windows 7? Most likely, I can find a "new" old version on Ebay. Thanks!!

My ultimate goal is to make a DVD to share with family, starting with either my video or using files sent to me to then return a DVD (NO... not a flash drive, this is for people who know how to put a DVD in a drive, and nothing else)   Sharing to disc gives a choice of going directly to the burn to DVD function, or the ability to create an ISO file   I normally go to an ISO file and then use IMGBURN to have more control over the actual disc writing process   While testing PrE with a short timeline (about 12 minutes) I put a CD-R in my drive... and lo and behold, Imgburn wrote the "DVD" ISO to the CD-R   So, for testing up to the 700Meg capacity of the CD-R blanks I have, I won't have to use more expensive DVD-R blanks   https://www.imgburn.com/ for ISO to disc (send the author a PayPal donation if you like his program - DO be sure to uncheck anything you don't want from the "freeware" download site) Imgburn will also write files or folders of your choice to dis

I'm using adobe premiere elements 14, on a Macbook Pro running macOS Catalina. Last week the program ran acceptably, but this week when I try to simply add a drag and drop transition sequence or text intro/outro the program either doesn't registers it or simple gives me this error code and proceeds to crash. [/adobe/pre/release/14/all_lang_14.1/mezzanine/src/masterclip.cpp-1826 ive restarted several times but cannot figure out what this issue is even after searching it. Please assist.

I have a 2014 Dell XPS 8700.  CPU is i7-4770 which if I understand correctly is a 4th generation CPU.  I'm running Windows Pro 10 10.0.19041. The technical specs for Elements 2021 say you need Intel 6th Generation or news processor. https://www.adobe.com/products/premiere-elements/tech-specs.htmlDoes that mean that Elements won't run on my CPU?  Or it will be so slow that I'll be hating life if I install it?  Or it just works better with a newer faster processor? I was going to update (I see that there's a sale going on right now) - I'm running Premiere Elements 2018.  But these technical specs have given me pause. Thanks for your help.

In premier elements going back to a edited project and the video is gone and this is a picture from the screen off my phone of what's there with several projects 

I have a project that every time I try to save & render it, it ends up corrupt and will not play. I have tried all suggestions to remedy the issue including going back to autosave versions which are also corrupt. This project took days to edit so I don't want to start completely over.I was going to try and copy all of the clips that are already edited and paste them in a new project but I can't figure out any way to do that. I also noticed an Export option in the File menu but it's always grayed out even if I select clips in the project. Any attempt at using the features under the Share tab results in the corrupt video.Here's my other thread about the corrupt issue if you have ideas - please keep this post to any way to cut/paste: Every time I save a particular project, when I try to play it, says it's corrupt I'm using Adobe Premiere Elements 13.1 on Windows 10.Thanks!

Hi all: This is my first post.  I have used Premiere Elements 13 on and off for many years and after my faithful Alienware 17 R2 gave up the ghost recently, I decided to upgrade to Premiere Elements 2021 on my new ASUS TUF computer. I had all my most recent PE 13 projects self-contained on an external hard drive. Now when I open a PE 13 project (.prel) file from thst same external hard drive, it can't find any of the media.  Ok I figured I'm prepared to lead PE 2021 to the trough.  However, even though I find the first of many images it is looking for it still requires me to find each of the images in that particular folder.  In other words it doesn't "learn" to look for subsequent images in that folder! Do I need to change the external disk drive's volume label (e.g. D:\ to H:\ ) so that it matches the previous label it had on my old AW computer? Seems like this shouldn't be necessary if I find the first asset of  the group of assets that require rel

I am trying to import some .mp4 files from my GoPro into Photoshop Elements Organizer 2020.  All files are in the same folder, all videos are created on the same date, by the same camera within minutes of each other.  I have no problem importing them into PremierElements 2020 or playing them using VLC.  But Photoshop Elements Organizer 2020 will import some, but hangs up on others at around the 44% mark.  The program is hard locked and I have to end the task to close it.  I have searched the Web and I found a suggestion that says to change the extension from .mp4 to .mpg.  I tried this and PEO successfully imported it, but I can't accept this as a solution.  Anybody have any idea what might be the problem?I am going to try reinstalling the software to see if that helps.  Thanks in advance for any help.

Hey All, I'm having a difficult time figuring out why this is happening. When I edit my scenes, I usually cut/trim. Well for some reason, the scenes that are trim/cut often plays fine but at the end, it attaches the previous scene. For instance, if my first scene is a car and I trim the second scene to be a bike. The second scene will play and showcase the bike but right before it ends, the car is show again as part of the bike scene. Do you know how I can correct this issue? Thanks so much! 

I've been using Premiere Elements for a few years now with no problems.  Just went to use it again yesterday and it is having problems with .mp4 files.  Import my mp4 file per usual and itshows up unclear with green lines across it, making it impossible to work with (see screen shot).  The file looks fine in the project assets window, and exports cleanly.  And you can view the file in its original format and after exporting using other software -- you just cannot see it properly to edit.Am using Premiere Elements 2018 with Windows 10 operating system.  After an hour-long online chat with support, they finally tell me they don't support that version anymore.  So I upgraded to 2021 and it's still an issue.Help?

 Hi, I never use this panel: Legacy Title Style. And it's annoying for me everytime I open a title it's appears again and again. I tried to Close Panel but it's appears again when I open a title. Can I turn it off, it, so it never appear again?

Hi I am struggling to get Premiere Elements 14 to let me use a keyboard shortcut to mark music beats on the timeline using the shortcut asterisk key on the numeric keypad. I have also tried to change the preset key to something else but that didn't work either. The asterisk key intermittently works to put an unnumbered timeline marker on the timeline if the project is not playing. I however want to insert manual beat markers while the project/music is playing as I don't like the way the auto beat detect works. I don't find it very good at identifying the dominant beat.Any suggestions pleaseKind regardsLinda

Hello!I am close to giving up here now. I record videos in-game with audio from the game itself + that I speak into my microphone. The whole procedure works fine, I create an mp4-file. When I open that file in Win10 i see and hear everything, i.e. my speaking and the in-game audio as well as video.BUT, when I then upload that mp4-file into premiere elements to add my own intro video and outtro video I do not have my mic audio included when I click play in premiere elements - only video and i-game audio, but not my speaking.So, mp4-file -> all okin premiere elements -> no mic-sound availableWhy? What can I do?

I'll hear my PC's fan going nuts and I look at my Resource Monitor and ElementsAutoAnalyzer.exe is gobbling up all of my CPU. I found this help page https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-elements/using/auto-analyzer-preferences.html but the preferences it shows DO NOT EXIST. I checked for updates and none exist.

I have a video file that is one of several that I was using to create a short video for Facebook posting.After I had made the short video and ensured it was as I wanted it to be, I attempted to delete the original video files. All of them were deleted except for one. I keep getting a pop-up message telling me that that file cannot be deleted because it is still open in something called auto creations. That message is shown in the attachment.How do I delete that file?? What is the "Auto Creation"?

I just installed the Big Sur update on my Mac and now I can not add any files to start a new project in my Adobe Premiere Elements 2020.  I get a generic code error and media files say Media Failure.Is there an update from Adobe to make this work????? Thanks,Dave
