Questions

I'd like to add some kind of voice effect to the sound of my video, but I can't see any effects being available.Did I buy a version that doesn't have that, or am I doing something wrong?

I have a wonderful 5-minute Premiere Elements file of my 5 year-old granddaughter dancing ballet in a tutu and cowboy boots. Don't ask! The boots make more noise than desireable on the wood floor. One can see the audio make sharp peaks at those points, rising far above the level of the background music and occasional voice. How can I lower or clip just the peaks to bring that volume more in line with the rest of the clip? Thanks in advance!  

Dear Adobe, I tried creating a new project and clicked "Change Settings" I could not find the presets I wanted so I went to C:/ Program Files Adobe / Elements Organizer / Settings / Sequence Presets / NTSC / AVCHD and copied and pasted instagram.sqpreset which has the properties described in https://mariolurig.com/Instagram%201080x1080%20Square%2030i.sqpreset  Now thereafter I tried to find it and I could not find it on Adobe Premiere 2019  I tried closing the computer and program and restarting the computer and the program still could not find my new preset. I would really like to upload videos for instagram and really require this preset. This is why I bought this program in the first place, because the salesperson told me that I could put a preset to create videos for instagram. Please assist me in resolving this matter.

I have recently made a movie using holiday footage and had no problems. I have come to make another and for some reason when i render the movie it makes the quality worse and makes it go pixleated. Anyone know how to fix this please.

I can't get a .zip version of my Premiere Elements 2018 license when viewing my order, only a .dmg version.Can i get the Windows version somewhere? Why am I platform locked anyway?

While reinstalling PE 12, I get as far as the New Project screen and then it looks like it is just continuing to load. I can't do anything with it. 

I have used Adobe Elements to create simple family films (I'm 70 now) since the 2013 version, and have used assorted programmes before that.  Cyberlink, Roxio etc..  Ive always found it easy to do.  I purchased the 2019 version only because my Mac is stopping supporting 2013's 32bit..Ive created my first film, ok, not too different from previous versions, but the method of burning to disc is quite different.   I used to create an ISO when enabled me to burn extra discs easily for the family.  I cant see this option.  I couldnt even find an image of a disc to let me burn directly there.  I have worked my way though the options and image is saved as i XMP.  I have burned three so far and none will lay on the TV, I made sure Pal was ticked n advanced, too.  It used to be so easy.  I have looked at tutorials on line and within help I have got more and more frustrated.  And bitterly disappointed I might say.  My family films are my

I can burn a DVD quality disc but when burning a avchd format disc I get to 98% complete and get a fatal error.  Using windows 10.

Hi, I'm using premiere elements 2020 and try to create a movie using only iphone 11 MOV files on a windows 10 machine.I am able to import them using premiere without any issue. However when playing, the video and sound are sometimes corrupted; not the whole movie but parts of them. Also when I quickly export to a mp4 file it doesn't look fine. Maybe a codec issue ..... or something else .... ?

Hi all, I have Premiere and Photoshop Elements 15 installed on my computer. I used them occasionally, and they have working fine for a couple of years now. Just last month, both software was running fine. Now, only Photoshop works. Premiere does not launch, and there is no error message. I tried running it through the desktop shortcut, directly in the Program Files folder, from the Adobe Organizer, and open previously created projects. I also tried running it as Administrator.  None works. In the Task Manager, I saw it popped up then immediately disappeared. I reinstalled the software, reset winsock, deleted the 15.0 folder (folder was recreated from launching Premiere). None works. I am running on Windows 10 Enterprise. There is no hardware changes nor new software installation since the last time Premiere was working. There are still plenty of hard drive space.  There are plenty of memory and CPU power as shown in task manager. The PC has no antivirus software except f

I have been editing in Elements for several weeks, and all working fine until a few days ago when I plugged in a new headset to record some narration within a different application. Now there is no sound coming out of Elements projcts unless the headset is plugged in.   I've edited the settings within Preferences-Audio Hardware to various combinations and nothing is helping.  I put the output onto the speakers, and no sound.  I put the output on headset, and sound comes out the headset.Any tips? 

My .mov files which play fine on my Mac are importing as Audio Only. After importing them, they look like audio and when I grab them to place on my timeline, only the audio track appears. Can someone help me?

I downloaded Premiere Elements and want to start editing video off my cell phone. The info provided by Adobe does not tell me how to get started...its like an advertisement for their product.  I used Adobe's subscription to lightroom and photoshop, but just cannot figure out how to get started using Premiere elements 2020?  Are their any instruction  videos to watch for a beginning wanting to edit cell phone video? 

the program became unresponsive and has deleted my working files. Any ideas on recovery?

I just took 2 weeks worth of vacation video not realzing my camera was set to +2 overexposre. :o(How can I fix this in Premier Elements? I see that I can correct the exposure but then I assume I would need to also correct the color, contrast, etc. How can I best fix all of this footage? I don't suppose there is is an "easy" fix in Premeir Elements? 

I just did the Windows 10 Pro update from 7 Pro. I still burn DVD's in Elements 12 for clients, no burner detected is showing up now post 10 update. Is Elements 12 compatable with Windows 10? If not, is the latest elements available to burn DVD's and will be compatiable with Windows 10 Pro?

Hi When starting adobe PE9 i have a message saying that the Nvidia  video card driver is not up todate.i have checked on the nvidia site and there is no more recent driver. Version is the 342.01 and is the latest.Adobe doesn't play anymore the video , doesn't show anymaore the pictures in the preview window. It was working well and suddendly ( i do not why and  for which reason  )  Any idea of what i can do ?Thanks for your help

I have recently upgraded to Premier Elements 2020 from Premier Elements 2015. When I click on a video in Project Assets I get a thumbnail picture,  BUT I cannot "preview" the video.   I have to add the video to my work timeline to view. In Premier Elements 2015 I could preview videos in the Project Assets. Is this option no longer available  or  how do I fix? Thanks

Hi,ich versuche in Premiere Elements 2019 eine Diashow in 4K zu erstellen mit dem Ergebnis, dass diese unscharf ist. Wenn ich mit den gleichen Bildern eine Diashow in Premiere Elements 15 in 4K erstelle, sind alle Bilder scharf.Der einzige Unterschied liegt in der Bitrate der Programme. In Elements 2019 wird die Diashow mit 100 MBps erstellt, in Elements 15 mit 200 MBps.Ich finde nirgendwo die Möglichkeit in Elements 2019 die Bitrate anzupassen und würde mich über Tips dazu freuen. Besten Dank

I have premiere elements 14 on my HP win10 computer. If I upgrade to 2020 will I still be able to access and edit my projects created in 14?Tom

Is there a way to move the watermark bar so it is not running across my face?  Can we slide it more to bottom or top of video?

Hi everyone, my first post here.   I am running PREL 2019 on Windows 10, hardware is a Dell XPS 15. The laptop is NEVER under resource starvation since I keep monitoring CPU, RAM and everything else.   I'm in the middle of a long project that I started when I was keeping all of the base footage and the PREL directory on an external HDD. After reorganizing all my data structure, I moved everything on the internal SSD and of course initially I was prompted by many "where is this clip.mp4" bla bla. So far so good.   After everything was sorted and I resumed editing, I started noticing a few weird things on a recurring basis: - A LOT of clips "lost" the applied effects tab content, even the default Motion & Opacity. Only dragging them back from the Assets was able to fix it, but of course I lose my trims. Not ideal.   - more random PREL crashes than before. not sure if it's related but over 6 months, I had the software crashing maybe 3 times and lately it's been at
