Hi,I am a new user of Premiere ElementsI am looking for a new computer. In the system requierement and in the forums, I cannot find how the multi-core CPUs are efficient in premiere elements 2019. What is the best way? AMD is with more cores but lower Ghz than Intel.If it can help, I also work with Photoshop/Lightroom CC and i am not a gamer.Thank you for your feedbackJosé

I saw an answer to this question for the 2015 version to change preferences to "no input" for sound but that did not work.  Does anyone have an answer?

Greetings.Once upon a time I pretty successfully and pretty quickly put together a couple vids for YT in Movie Maker.In fact, I'm probably gonna go back to my old desktop running Win 7, and do that again.I have acquired Premiere Elements 13.  I cannot do anything in it yet.  Because I need to know, for instance, how to zoom into the timeline so I can see the spikes on the audio track.  I cannot figure out how to do that.  I must have done that in Movie Maker.  I can do that in Audacity.  Don't see it in PE.  (Yeah, there is one control, but it does not zoom in far enough on a 3 hr. vid of my band to see those spikes.)Cut it into shorter pieces, maybe?  A little dim on how to do that.  I'd really like to be able to see where I am when I am cutting.Another instance------I can get that vid so I am looking at minute one to minute 5.  But I want to cut off the first, say, seven minutes.  I cannot figure out how to scroll (or whatever) t

I'm using the trial version (Adobe Premiere Elements 2019 v.17.0) to see if it will work well with my underwater videos.  Most imported, except a handful.  I suspect it's because they were shot using HEVC codec.  Is there anyway to import them?  Thanks in advance for your help!

HiTitle says it all really. Can I import from different sources IE; AVCHD,DSLR and WMV into the same project.I ask this as I I obviously need to select my media source and there does not seem to be a way to set from multiple sources.Any help would be appreciated.Dave

Hi - I am asking this within the Premier Elements community because this is the software I  currently have. However, if the below is not possible with Premier Elements I am wondering if any other tool will do - Whether it be Premier Rush, Premier Pro, or even an Adobe alternative like Cyberlink Power Director. What I would like to do is effectively crop a 360 / VR video to capture just one perspective from the camera, and export that as a distinct video. During a party I had the 360 device (Nikon KeyMission 360) on a bookshelf. I do not need the picture of the books behind the camera. I was using the device more just to capture the party and less for action/movement. So what I'd like to do is effectively edit the video to just be a  plain old 2D video. When I open the video in Premier Elements, it does not render it in 3D (obviously), but the issue is that the parts of the image I want are split on either side of the frame. Premiere Elements 2019.I am creating a slide show of images as a movie.When I hover between images on the first track (Video 1), my cursor changes to the 'Ripple Trim' icon, which is what I want.It allows me to stretch the image forward or backward in the Timeline. In addition, the connecting images move (shift) accordingly and any Transition stays put.However, on any other track, the cursor is non-ripple. What ends up happening is that I can not stretch the image forwards, only backwards. In addition, it disconnects the image from the next and I even lose transitions.My questions are:1) Is this how the software is supposed to work?2) If not, is it a bug?3) How can I enable the Ripple-Trim feature on other tracks?Thanks!

Hi All,On my Dell laptop I'm trying to upload video files to edit from my One Plus 5 smartphone to edit on Premiere Elements 14.  Unfortunately the files I'm uploading always come with a Add Media Failure box and the message " The Importer reported a generic error ".  I don't usually have issues with this and successfully uploaded before on Elements.  These particular files are from June 2018 and open with standard video media platforms that came with the laptop but not with Elements 14.Any help to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated.

my laptop has about 15 GB left and the videos I'm uploading don't take all of the space, what should I do!!!

I'm not quite sure how to describe this.I've been working on a video that is a little over 5 minutes long for several hours now and placed the finishing touches on it, only to find out that the last section of the video has somehow brought back a segment of a clip that I had trimmed and deleted...For some strange reason it only popped in when I put the "dip to white" transition between the two clips. Now I thought maybe somehow the trimming added an extra frame so I deleted the one clip and re-added, trimmed and added the transition again... and it caused the deleted segment to show up again. I even tried swapping the problem clip around with another clip that didn't have a problem, only to have the other clip do the exact same thing! The deleted segment appears to be the same expanded size as my last clip of the video, but it's not even part of that last clip...I'm stumped as to why it's doing this... It does it with the dip to black transition too but not with a fade in/out on the cl

Using Premiere Elements 15.  It has developed this full screen playback issue.It seems to be shifted to the left (as you can see by the black bar on right side and 2 small grey bars top & bottom ( as shown in the screenshot)If i save the video and play it through say windows media player it seems ok.It's not a monitor issue, just seems to be PE issue.Any ideas?Thanks

After upgrading to Premiere Elements 2019, I am no longer able to upload .mp4 files Vimeo unless I run them through Handbrake first. All of the previous versions of Premiere Elements produced .mp4 files that were easily uploaded to Vimeo, I have reinstalled the 2019 version, but the problem persisted. As a long-time user of Adobe products, I'm frustrated that I have to use a free product such as Handbrake to do what I have been purchasing Adobe Premiere Elements to do. Furthermore, the initial version of Adobe Rush CC isn't yet able to export to Vimeo. Will I have to purchase Premiere Pro to upload to vimeo?

Guten Tag,vorausgeschickt: Ich bin neu in diesem Forum und bitte um Hilfe.Ich arbeite seit Jahren mit Adobe Premiere Elements 12 und war auch sehr zufrieden.. Seit einige Wochen habe ich das Problem, wenn ich ein Projekt öffne, werden die Szenen im Schnittfester nicht angezeigt (nur Hygrophilien) und im Projektelement-Fenster genauso. Bis zur vollen Darstellung können mehrere Minuten vergehen.Minimiere ich das Programm und will es wieder öffnen, dauert es zum Teil auch mehrere Minuten, bis alles wieder richtig dargestellt wird.Kann es u.U. an Windows liegen oder ist mein Premiere zu alt?Ich benutze Windows 10 64bit Version 1803 Built 17134.472.Ich hoffe, es kann jemand helfen, also schon mal ein Dankeschön.GrußManfred

Installiert ist dies auf einem PC mit Windows 10 64 Bit.Hardware:Intel Core i7 7700kAMD Radeon R9 390x16GB RAMNun versuche ich seit längerem erfolglos einen Film auf DVD auszugeben. Das Projekt besteht aus 2 Videodateien (VOB). Diese beiden Dateien liegen nacheinander in der Video-Spur.Beim Export auf DVD will ich dies erst als ISO-Image auf den PC ausgeben. Egal ob mit DVD Menü oder ohne, es kommt beim Klick auf "Brennen" entweder gleich am Anfang oder bei 98% die Meldung "Fehler bei Transkodierung":Ich habe auch schon eine der beiden Video-Dateien aus der Video-Spur gelöscht, aber auch erfolglos.Bei der Ausgabe als MP4 mit H.264 Codec erscheint folgende Meldung:Ich habe auch schon Premiere Elements 2019 als Testversion ausprobiert, aber es kommt der gleiche Fehler.Was mache ich falsch?

Hallo,ich würde gerne manche Tastaturbefehle ändern. Eigentlich dachte ich, das würde unter Bearbneiten/Tastaturanpassung gehen - auch die Bedienungsanleitung sagt das. Aber außer Befehle löschen, geht bei mir gar nichts.Also z.B. Clip teilen ist ja umständlich mit Strg + K belegt. Eine Taste allein wäre mir da lieber. Aber er lässt mich ja gar nichts ändern. Doppelklick, Rechtsklick, Tastaturbefehle einfach eingeben etc. hilft alles nichts.Vielen Dank für die Hilfe,Tike

Does anyone know if there is a build in tool or feature of #Adobe premiere elements 2019 that will sync a separate audio and video track form multi-camera or separate audio recording? I own a Zoom 4h and have it connected to two phantom powered sony lavalier mics for interviews. The camera used in a Sony A77ii. I want an easy way or tool that will sync the two beyond have to clap and line up the video and audio. I was hoping that the 2019 Adobe premier elements offers such a tool but can not find it searching in help or the guide. #Premier Elements
