My timeline has a mix of clips from a video camera and clips with audio I recorded on my PC. For the audio I recorded, I hear it in both speakers. For the audio recorded by the camera, I only hear it in the left channel. When I look at properties for the clips, they both say they are "mono" for both Source Audio and Project Audio (although at different sample rates). How do I fix the audio from the camera so I hear it in both left and right speakers? "Mono" should obviously do this automatically. I can't find anything remotely related in any help or online source. I did find someone showing a way to fix this in Premiere Pro, but the menu items he used do not seem to exist in Premiere Elements.
I want to capture live video from a webcam but selecting Add Media/Webcam or WDM fails and the program exits. The Organizer window remains open. I'm running Win11 on an Intel i7 with 32GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060. Not sure what other info to provide at this point. There are two webcams attached to the system, both work fine with other applications including Zoom, Skype, and OBS. One is a Logitech Brio, the other a Zoom Q2n 4K. Both are set to FHD 1920x1080. All drivers are up to date. Without an error message, I can't begin to debug the issue. Has anyone else seen this and know what may be the cause?
Hello,I've read the legal terms (there is a page list with all the products and terms) of use for the Premiere Elements product but I haven't found the answer to my question. Unlike Premiere product, it's a purchase and not a monthly or annual subscription but for the Premiere product (and many others) on the Abode products website, you can choose the offer according to your profile (individual and self-employed, student or teacher, company) and there may be different rights of use.On the other hand, for Premiere Elements 2024 product, there's only one offer on the site (for a one-person purchase), so you can't choose according to your profile. What are the rights of use for a freelancer/independant? Can we make commercial use of our creation? I only plan to use the software's functions to modify images, videos, content and music resources from outside Adobe (external from the Adobe medias proposed inside/with the Premiere Elements product, media I can modify and share, sell according
I have just upgraded from 2020 to 2024. I used to adjust audio levels by adding keyframes and then adjusting the volume between keyframes - but adjusting the volume in the volume control does not have any effect. The volume control seems dead? Also the Audio Mixer does not seem to be able to adjust audio levels - not even between keyframes. As of now I can only adjust volume by dragging the yellow line up/down. What is wrong here? It used to work in the old version.
I am learning by reading SG's book and doing different thingshttps://www.amazon.com/Muvipix-com-Guide-Adobe-Premiere-Elements/dp/B08KQ9L1ZY/ For my latest family video on DVD I wanted to be able to 'play all' or start the video near the beginning or at a point about half way through I had never added menu markers before so I started in SG's book on page 250 and found out that it is very easy to add named markers for main or scene menu(s) I didn't want a separate scene menu for only 2 options so I added Main Menu markers Place CTI where I wanted a marker and Click MARKERS just above timeline on the leftSelect MENU MARKER in the pop up window, this will open a new windowEnter marker name (name shows on menu) & marker type (main menu marker for my video) I UN-Checked the default 'add scene markers' option when I selected a menu, so the program did not automatically add a scene marker at every new video file on the timeline... this video was made up of sever
I haven't used my software in a couple of months, but now I can't hear audio inside the Adobe software. When I play clips in media player everything is fine, but the same clips in Premiere Elements you can't hear the audio. I exported a video I'm working on and that video, in media player has audio...what gives?!?
Hardware meets the Adobe specifications and I recently installed another 16GB of RAM as I was informed that this would stop the 'stuttering' in the preview window. Well, it is still happening so can someone please point me in the right direction as to how I can avoid the stuttering? The GoPro files are 4K and range from 60fps to 30fps.Many thanks
Just got Premiere Elements 2024 and when I try to export to an mp4 file the video is black no matter what format I choose for computer or tv 4k or HD.
I just started using Premiere Elements 2024, and for a few videos I was using the unsharp mask filter. I had a few weeks break from my video editing and when I returned to the program I couldn't find unsharp mask, only "sharpen". Where is unsharp mask in the filter menu. Did Adobe take it out, or am I just failing to see the settings? Thanks for answer
My Premiere Elements 2023 suddenly won't start. I have restated my computer (mac - iMac 2021 MacOS Ventura 13.6.3) and uninstalled Premiere Elements and reinstalled Premiere Elements but haven't gotten the option to type in my serial number again. It still don’t start the video editor. But my photoshop elements still works and start as usual.
I'm running Premiere Elements 2024 on an iMac, Advanced editing mode. I put a music clip on the music track, specifically a clip that I have in my music library on my computer, not one of the stock clips within the Premiere Elements application. I wanted to shorten the length of the clip, so the first thing I tried is using the trim handle at the end of the clip and pushing it to the left, just as if I was trimming a video clip. Bad idea. Premiere Elements made a remix of the clip to keep it from ending abruptly, just like it does when changing the length of one of its stock clips. The music was then absolutely atrocious. To get around it, I undid the trim, then made a cut at the point where I wanted the music to end, and deleted the tail end of the clip, even though it was a very abrupt ending. I added a fade-out to soften the blow a bit. Is there a way to turn off the auto remix feature, so I can just trim the music clip like any ot
I can't drag and drop files in I try to play the clip after adding it and it shows a black screen. I even have the issue of it not closing when I exit the program.Yesterday no issue no new hardware or software installed untill I did the usuall update everything and reinstall still the same. below is the list of things already tried.Driver updatesuninstall all adobe and reinstall.checked settings rebooted multiple times
Using 2024. I have no problems with photoshop elements, but premiere sticks to the edge of the screen. See the linked video.
I know that premiere elements is a hobby product. But how can a product dubbed '2024' not support HEVC/H.265 export or GPU supported export? And since the export is so relatively slow, queued export would also be a nice feature. Currently I export in a high bitrate h.264 and then use handbrake with my GPU to encode to h.265. You can do better adobe. 🙂
I apologize for this newbie question.Using PE 2023, I want to zoom-in slightly on my video frame and hold that frame position in order to simply eliminate unwanted aspects that appear on the borders of my original frame throughout the clip. I tried creating a focus frame to eliminate the unwanted aspects, but it appears that the zoom continues to change as the clip plays so that I end up with a frame that's zoomed-in too much. I want to keep the zoom (border position) static throughout the clip, thus simply reducing the original frame border. Any help is appreciated.
I have PE 18 and have used earlier PE a lot but never had this problem. I start to record narration and it either immediately stops or does so between 1 and 5 seconds later. I have a new HP Pavilion computer with 250+ GB free. Thanks for any help.....Richard

I'm using Premiere Elements 2024 on an iMac. I want to remove the background in a clip so I can then take a still photo of a green screen and put it on a video track behind the subject that remained after the background removal. Then I can apply Videomerge on the green screen and use a new background on another clip. Can the background of a clip be removed? To replace the background, am I doing it the long way as described above? In other words, is there a way to replace a background without using a green screen intermediate step as I described above?
Hi, I am making a project using Premiere Elements 2021 which I purchased on July 10, 2021. For some reason, everytime I open the program, the following pop up appears asking me to sign in. I follow the instructions by entering the serial number I received when I purchased the product, which I accessed from my account. After doing this, the pop up dissappears, and I'm able to run the program like normal. But unfortunately, when I edit a project, the watermark that says "created using Premiere Elements trial version" still appears on the display screen as shown below. I have tried a couple of suggestions I found saying to deleting rendered files and re-render the project, as well as cleaning media cache files. Neither of these solutions seem to work. I am hoping I can get another solution to get rid of the watermark. It shouldn't be showing up after I put in the serial number. And the pop up prompting me to enter my serial number shouldn't
After installing the program all worked well including the Chroma Key. The following morning suddenly many key functions disapeared from the available selections of functions. Maybe due to an update of the software that was done at night. I reinstalled the purchased version and the function did not come back. I had to go back and use the 2022 version that I had earlier,I am using windows 11 PC and curently not using the 2024.Emailed support and they asked for the serial number, which I sent back a few days ago. Hope to get a solution soon.Attached are a couple of screenshots shwing what is availablke in version 2022 and what is available in version 2024. If anyone had a similar problem and solved it I would like to do get advice.
Howdy!I built a custom gaming PC, and I am surprised to see that playback in Adobe Premiere Elements is choppy on my PC. It started off smooth when I was editing a small project, but when I got up to about 6 minutes worth of small video clips (a few seconds each), I couldn't play the video back for more than 5 seconds before it started chopping / lagging very bad. The video clips are 1080p 60fps shots from my GoPro. My PC specs are below. Additionally, the playback video quality is poor. I've tried the playback quality setting on auto and high - no difference. Does anyone know if I can tweak some settings or anything else to fix these issues?Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX Z270ECPU: Intel 7th Gen i7-7700KCPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVOGPU: Gigabyte GTX 1080 8GB G1 Gaming EditionRAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR4 DRAM 3000MHzHard Drive (apps): Samsung 850 EVO 1TB SSDHard Drive (storage): WD Black 1TB 7200RPMPower Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G1, 80+ G
I purchased Adobe Premiere Elements 2023 this year, and have made all of my projects using this program.Earlier this month, the program stopped opening the project files I made since purchasing this program.Program gets stuck at 100% while attempting to load my project files.Able to select the "Cancel" button, but unable to use the program menus/window, or even close the program, (because it has crashed.)Only able to close the program using "Task Manager". Things I have tried without results:-Clearing temp folder-Restarting the computer-Uninstalling and reinstalling the software-Unchecking Edit>Preferences>general and uncheck Hardware and GPU accelerations.-Copy and pasting project file to desktop, (as well as other folders,) and opening from there.-Updating graphics card driver SYSTEM INFO:GRAPHICS CARD: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 TiRAM: 32 GBPROCESSOR: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700 2.10 GHz Since this happened, I have thrown together a few quick sample project
When I click Export And Share, the video vanishes. It says it went to YouTube, but it didn't. I want it to go to MY account on YouTube. That is the whole point of the exercise. Make a video, post it to MY account on YouTube. HELP!!
I am using Premiere Elements 2024 on an iMac. I put the main video and audio on track 1. I put another clip with a green screen on video track 2, and did a video merge to remove the green. This worked perfectly. The problem was, the effect was too large in relation to the main video. I selected the added clip, and used the resize handles to reduce the size of it. There were black borders (letterbox?) visible at the top and bottom of the added clip that were now visible in the video, a result of the sizing down. Is there a way to get rid of these borders?
I am running Premiere Elements 2024 for the first time. I put together a little three-minute Christmas video of the family. On the desktop there's a file called "2023_Christmas_.prel" and the corresponding mp4 file. When I click on the "prel" file and go into the program, a bunch of folders appear on my desktop: -- Adobe Premiere Elements Audio Previews-- Adobe Premiere Elements Captured Audio-- Adobe Premiere Elements Captured Video-- Adobe Premiere Elements Video Previews-- Encoded Files-- Layouts Most of those folders are empty. There is a file in "Layouts". I have attached a Screen Save of the relevant section of my desktop. I am running Windows 11 Home on a fairly new Dell XPS 8950 Desktop computer. Am I doing something wrong? Should those folders be somewhere else?
