Questions

In elements 14, how does one create an 8.5x11 clean slate as opposed to their CREATE/PHOTO COLLAGE? I want to place 2-3 pix varying the size where I want them, not how Adobe wants them, complete with my text.Bill Gebhardt

We just purchased Adobe Premiere Elements and I'm playing around with it to test things out. In so doing, my video is playing, but I can't seem to get any audio. I've imported several different video clips, all of which have sound, but no audio plays through Premiere Elements. As a last ditch, I had our company IT guy take a look and play with it, but he was stumped as well. Is there some mystery setting that I need to activate to be able to hear my video? Thanks!

I want to create a DVD of a slide show from my recent trip.  I wanted to do a trial on Adobe Premiere to see how well it works.  Two things I noticed.  First: the speed of creating the DVD is extremely slow.  Second:  the video has a huge band across every frame that reads "Created by Adobe Elements Premier Trial".  The first is a nuisance and would make using the program arduous.  The second is a show stopper as I cannot see the images and determine their quality.  Is there a way to turn off the annoying message referred to in my second issue so that I can view the slides?[Title edited by moderator so that it's readable and moved from the general, all-of-Adobe forum Lounge to a product-specific support forum]

I have a "sliver" of a clip that is between two other clips on my time line, I cannot seem to "highlite" it so that I can delete it. I have tried moving either the clip before it or after it and can soon as I place my cursor over one of the clips I get the red { / } tool and cannot isolate that "sliver". Please tell me what I need to be doing? Thanks

For the last three or four days I have been trying to upload videos to YouTube, but I keep getting the message that states: " Share to YouTube temporarily unavailable through Adobe Premiere Elements." How long is this going to go on? Can I do something to fix this problem?I've tried resetting the web services, but that did nothing. Thanks!

That is the message I get when I click upload to you tube using PE9.  Has been for over a week now.

I have a Canon Vixia HF S30 video camera that records AVCHD video with MPEG-4 AVC/H.264compression.  I have been recording at 1920 X 1080 resolution.  The video qualitywhen the camera is hooked directly to the TV gives great resolution, and the videomovement is smooth.  After downloading the camera video to the computer hard drive and burning it to a DVD it playswith the same quality on a Blu-Ray player.  When I edit the video in Premiere13 and then publish it I cannot find a format to choose that will give the samequality as the unedited DVD version.  The lower quality is seen mostly in the scene panning; the video becomes blurryduring the pan.  I have tried using the DVD burn choice for AVCHD 1920 X 1080p; I tried saving to the hard drive firstusing HDTV 1080p 29.97 High Quality, MP4 – H264 1920 X 1080p 30, M2T – H2641920 X 1080i 30, and others, then burning to the DVD.  All gave much lower quality than the videoburned to a DVD directly from the har

Hi ,after importing videos to the timeline clips are overwritten with "CREATED WITH TRIAL VERSION OF PREMIERE ELEMENTS 12"I reinstalled Premiere Elements !2 with the installation disc and entered the Reg No and the problem still persists.I have used this version for about 3 years with no problems. Please help.

I have a valid Adobe ID and Password, but am unable to sign in to either program.  I keep getting error message 400.

Looking at forum you see plenty posts of people running everything back to PRE 7 and everything in between.This seems rather impressive.Are Adobe good at maintenance?Do you get updates on older version when a new major release arrived?Thanks.

Just asked about difficulties with uploading to youtube.  Decided to reinstall PE9 and reset all my passwords, youtube accounts, to see if that would help.  When I went to choose my "new" adobe ID, I now get the messageSign up errorPhotoshop.com services are currently unavailable. Please try again later or check your network connections.I did both, but still same message.  Also, I did not install adobe photoshop.  Elements has worked without it previously. 

Currently running windows 10 64bit on a custom build:Anytime I go to boot the application, windows comes back with a report saying:      Adobe Premiere Elements 11 has stopped working     A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.     WIndows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.I tried running as administrator and uninstall/reinstall the program to no result.  I had windows run a compatibility check and it sent me to Adobe's website to buy Elements 15.I own a multi-machine license purchased from newegg and am wondering if buying the new programis the only solution.Thanks!

I am using the german version of Premiere Elements 15.I uses a movie menue to create a Bluray.The german text of the playback button is "Wiedergebe".That is not correct. Please rename it in "Wiedergabe".

I have been trying to mix files from a JVC and a Canon camera.The JVC saves the files as Mov and the Canon saves them as MP4.I use Premier Elements 10.If I use DSLR 1080i project settings the mov files are not best quality and if I use HD 1080i 25 project settings the mp4 files are not best quality.I have tried to convert the mov files to mp4 files using file converter but does not seem to improve the quality.Anyone have any ideas please?

quick question. I am upgrading my Pe version from 7 to 15. I still have som un finished files i want to edit. Do my saved files open normaly in Pe15?

Trying to synchronize audio but the increments on the timeline are too wide.  So dragging a wav file left or right moves it too far.  I've turned off snap but it still does it.  How do I remove frame by frame incremental time?  I need smoother dragging because getting two wav files to play on top of each other is impossible and I have echo. I've zoomed in as far as I can go.  I can move the mouse where I want but when I click the timeline it snaps forward or backwards to what looks like a 10th of a second.  I need 100th of a second. 

I have super old Premiere 9:) and it is craching all the time. Is there some free update or some other way to fix it?

I am unable to set an effective work area in Premiere Elements 14 on a Mac. I can set an in point using Option+[ however I cannot set an out point for the work area using Option+]. Hence the entire remainder of the media file becomes the work area.According to the list of shortcuts available in Adobe Help there is no shortcut for an out point on a Mac ( Keyboard shortcuts in Adobe Premiere Elements  )I have tried customising the shortcuts, but that did not work either.If I use in and out points from the Preview, when I go to save, and use the 'Export work area only' checkbox, it wants to export the entire file, not just the displayed clip.Any suggestions? This seems like something fairly simple and should just work.

When trying to user the motion tracking tool I started getting the error "The mediafile seems to have an invalid entry in the catalog. Please rename it." This error started coming up after the update from 14.0 to 14.1 and it comes regardless what video file I use. In the attached screenshot I even used a video files which I rendered just upfront with Premier Elements for testing. Also renaming the file or just the clip doesn't work neighter, nor does it work if I start it in an all new project.I run it on a Windows 10 64 bit machine and it used to work fine prevsiously. Hope anyone has any idea what is happening there. Ah just to mention all other tools like "Freeze the frame" or "Smart Trim" aso working fine.

I am furious. I go to open PE13 and I get standard 'Has stopped working' message when the program is starting up. Cant even open program by clicking a file made within it.Been on remote access with a Adobe employee all morning to which he just gave up after we re-installed the program and he left me in administration mode (I was very confused as to how to get back to my personal account, which still has admin privileges) and didnt hang about for me to ask more questions. He just told me to go here and ask instead and left.Windows 10. No hardware changes or moved access files. Just wont load at all now.I've lost a mornings worth of work due to being unable to use the program and I'm angry and upset at the service I have received. It was all going so well and I would have been happier if it was not for the abrupt ending of our session.Windows 10, if that matters.

I am running Premier Elements 12 and a recent error message has just arisen saying that sharing of a Video to YouTube is currently unavailable.Does anyone know when this "blip" will be resolved?Really appreciated anyone's helpThanksChris

I purchased the Premiere Elements 10, and installed all the discs onto my 64 bit Windows 7 computer. It opens up the screen for "organize, new project, open project" and when selecting New Project it opens a load screen, and then closes and goes back to the main screen after it gets to "loading importerquicktime.prm"I just downloaded teh newest quicktime, and still isn't workingI have AVG security software.

I'm having a problem editing videos using Adobe Premier Elements 14.  After I close out an editing session, sometimes when I reopen the program, instead of viewing video frames, each frame has turned into a red square.  Right now, I'm very unsatisfied with the product and will not recommend it to anyone, unless I get some help to restore my work.[Moved from non-technical Forum Lounge to specific Program forum...
