Hi I'm on 2024 version.... I have 2 projects going on, and now i want to merge some video segments from one to the other... Can anyone suggest a way to do this? If i was able to open both projects at the same time, i asusme i could copy and paste, but i also understand this is not possible in 2024 version to open 2 projects at same time. Many thanks

Hello from Belgium, I'm using PE for over a decade with great satisfaction until the 2022 version ( Latest native Intel version ) on my I7 mac Mini.As my Intel Mac is now obsolete i have invested in a Mac Studio with M4 Max.While Adobe states compatibility with M1 or above chips, current ( up to 2 weeks ago ) user feedback suggests that optimization for the  M4 Max chip in Premiere Pro (the professional version) is still a developing area.So , my question is : What about PE 2026 ? Is optimization of Premiere Elements 2026 for Mac Studio M4 Max still a work in progress for Adobe or not ? if yes, please state how long will be the wait ? M5 chips are to be announced soon !Kind regards, Serge 

Hi there Another Q that im not sure is possible.... I have a short video, i want to keep the audio, but replace the visual element of it with a photo - is this possible? As example... using attached image...2 is the existing visual3 is the existing audio1 is an image i would like to paste over the visual whilst keeping the audio. Noting im on 2024. Many thanks!  

Here's a brief overview of some of the highlights in the latest release of Premiere Elements.. 

For a while I was able to download YT vids, bring them into PE 2022, and extract the tiny section I needed for support in my videos - no problem. Then suddenly, "Add Media" yielded only an audio file in my "Project Assets." From my own research, I have learned it has to do with file format? Or CODEC? Or "dot-extention" something? Explanations as written seem like gibberish to a 70 y/o musician with limited PC skills. Could someone please explain this fix like you're telling it to your grandfather? Who you like? Who's a good guy? You will be so appreciated. (And a hero.)  Thank you.

Hallo, ich habe heute mir für knapp 100 Euro von adobe eine 3 Jahreslizenz von Premiere Elements gekauft. Ich hatte mich im Vorfeld erkundigt, welches Programm es möglich macht, dass man DVD Menüs erstellen kann. Laut Adobe soll das mit Elements2025 möglich sein, aber ich finde keinerlei Optionen innerhalb des Programms. So wie in der Adobe Hilfe beschrieben , ist es im Programm selbst nicht aufzufinden. Wie kann ich das Produkt zurückgeben und wie bekomme ich mein Geld zurück? Ich nutze einen PC. Grüße  

Likely a complicated one this one.... and may not be possible... but here goes! I have downloaded a file of the old "Pearl and Dean" music..When i play it on my project it also shows the graphic with the  "Pearl and Dean" name and the asteroids...For anyone who doest know it, here it is: https://youtu.be/WUFxARB880E Ideally I would like to edit the movie so instead of the words "PEARL & DEAN", change to something else.... but this i feel is too tricky to do.... In absence of that, what I would like to do is remove the video attached to the music, replace it with my own title slide and extend the duration of title slide to the duration (which is 18 seconds).I've not found a way to extend title slides, i have managed to shorten them by using the scissors. Attaching a screnshot for context.Any advice appreciated!

Hi I have lots of white space i need deleting from a video.... My video length is showing as 1hr 42 mins but there is only 22 mins of video... please see pictures to better describe this... Thanks

Adobe Premiere Elements 2025. Windows 11Most recent NVIDIA Studio Drivers.  What could be the reason for this error? It happens during project export. I don’t recall seeing similar issues before. It isn’t random, since it always occurs at a particular point in the project. The encoding starts normally but then suddenly stops and shows this error message. I tried removing the clip located at that time, but the error then appeared at a different point. 

Hi I have quite a large project (as per prior posts!) In previous version I have added text to a video via the 'T' or 'Text' icon immediately above the video...That icon no longer appears... the only reason i can think is because ive done quite a bit of editing e.g. reverse videos, spped them up, slow them down... See attached for what it now shows above the videos. I note that there is a 'T' icon to the right, which id assumed would show me the text ive added to the clip and allow me to edit... but i can't find it unfortunately... Thanks!

Hi I have hundreds of short video clips in a project. I want to add a black slide and put some white text on it (rather than adding text to the actual video, which i see can be done). Does PE have a function to do this?And, if so, can I add it mid-point in my project?  Slightly aside, I am finding when i copy and paste a video, mid-point, it pastes over another video.... so the only way i've found to get round this is to go all the way to the end, and paste it there and drag it all the way back again..... Is there something i'm missing here? Thanks!

I am stuck in freeze frame mode and can't get out. I do not want to freeze any frame. I have tried to restart the program but it just goes back to the same freeze frame blank screen.

I recently upgraded from Premier Elements 2018 to 2025.  The new titles and text functionality is a nightmare.   Apparently you cannot drag a text box to reposition it.  All positioning has to be done by scrubbing the numbers under the Titles and Shape menu.  But it gets worse.  Once you've inserted a text box, you can't resize it!!!.  Here is what I am observing: 1. Point Text (single-click created)No adjustable bounds.The text runs in one line, and increasing the font size can push it offscreen.Only way to make it “fit” differently is by resizing Scale (%) or retyping line break 2. Area Text (click-and-drag created)This is the only way to set and control wrapping width.When you first drag the rectangle, its width defines how far across the screen the text can flow.But: after creation, you can’t grab handles in the Program Monitor to resize itIf the box is too narrow, you need to redraw it larger. Really?  How many times have

Hi I have some videos that I would like to trim to perhaps 10 seconds or even a few seconds.... and i'm finding it difficult. It is possible to 'mark manually' a small segment and then use the keyboard arrows left/right to go frame by frame to trim the segment... you do that on the left bar using right arrow, and then on the right bar using left arrow, to bring them together..However, as it is such a small amount of video, it is then very difficult to navigate from one bar to the other.... the only way to do it is to leave a larger gap between the bars and then you have one shot to bring them together (scrolling frame by frame, though you can make it quicker by holding down the arrow), as the lines come closer together, it becomes impossible again to navigate to the other bar ... hope that makes sense!    Wondering if there is a more effective way to do this? Appreciate there might be something on "Advanced".. but i haven't touched "Advanced" before a

I recently bought a new laptop and loaded Premiere Elements 2020. It works fine when I open a previous project which I have on a separate hard drive. The problem happens when I create a new project. I can save it but when I try to reopen the project I get a crash report. I've updated graphics card drivers, cleared media cash and various other things but no joy. It appears there  must be some form of conflict.

I recently posted a video to YouTube that I wasn't proud of. The video looked choppy and low resolution even though it was rendered in 4K.I am seeing the same thing again as I try to edit my new video.Everything looks good when I edit a still image, even when I manually drag the cursor along. However, when I hit the play button everything looks ratty. I have Premiere Elements 2020. I have a Dell 8940 with a 4K monitor. Robert 0901 

Is Premiere Elements an experiement?  Im not being facieious, this is a legitimate question.  Aside from the learning curve  and shuffling around a split screen to get to other things on my desktop to review before I add them, I am behind schedule  for my workload.  At first it wasnt too bad. I just had to spend time watching videos and reading articles.  Im in the middle of a video and have to rebuild the first segment.  When I opened PE there were so many random images and videos from my laptop in Elements Organizer I couldn't work that way. I have tried everythig I read and watched to clear all images and clips to no avail. Most of the menue on top is grayed out. I restarted, cleared cache......nothing is working .  Am I able to get a refund or perhaps get PE-2025 replaced with PE-2024 (providing it's not comparable to 2025)?
