Question

A Lot of Keyframe Animation Makes the Timeline Slow.

I have had this problem for months now where I'll put all of my images (mainly .png, .jpg) in the timeline and near the end of editing the keyframe graphics onto the clips (videos are 5-8 min. long) Premeire's effect control tab will get really slow. More specificaly, it takes 5-10 seconds for the playback tab to recognize that the position (or other effect property) has changed and update it. My computer is well equipped to handle Premeire though (32 GBs of ram, ((dedicating 29 of them to Adobe products)) 4060, Win 11, working with Premeire 24.5, Intel Core i9. I have considered just switching to After Effects for keyframe animation but I want to know if there is a different solution. Thanks for reading.

What is the pixel size of the images?

If excessively large, that could be causing the sluggishness.

Also, RAM allotment should be in multiples of 4.

The images are usually 1280x720 to 2k.
