Adobe Premiere Pro Corrupted Footage File, Seeking Solution for Recovery!
I have a major issue, and maybe someone has a solution: Adobe Premiere Pro seems to have corrupted a footage file, and now I need to somehow restore it. The file is a .mov container with an h.264 codec and has an AAC audio codec with two stereo tracks. I intended to edit this file in Adobe Premiere Pro, but after a while, playback in Premiere stopped working (the Media Pending window appeared). I let Premiere work on it and restarted it after some time. Then came the shock. Adobe Premiere couldn't load the file anymore (relinking also didn't work). The original file couldn't be opened with VLC, Media Encoder, or Quicktime.
At first, I thought my hard drive might have a sector problem and checked it. Everything was error-free. As a precaution, I backed up the remaining footage three times. Today, when I tried to edit another file in Premiere (same container and codec), the same problem occurred. Fortunately, due to the backup, it's not as critical here. Does anyone know this issue and have a solution to restore this file (File 1), as I unfortunately don't have a backup of it.
