AI generating video at the end of a shot

Curious to know if anyone knows anything of a 'rumor' I've heard from a couple of other editors. That you will be able to add a few seconds to the end of a shot on the timeline -AI will generate it for you. Is this true and is this feature on the immediate horizon?
