Hello,Exactly the problem this poster had https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/editing-multicam-4k-footage-in-1080-sequence-getting-preview-monitor-to-match/m-p/10195793#M185247 I have some UHD clips that I want to edit in an 1080p sequence so that I can zoom in for some shots without losing quality.The problem is that my multicam sequence will be UHD too. When I drag it in the 1080p sequence i "set it to frame size" since it is zoomed in initially and all is good. But looking at the multicam view, the two clips in it are left zoomed in while the Multicam preview shows a correctly zoomed out image.Is there a way to solve this? The only way for the clips in the multi cam view to show up correctly is:1) to work in an UHD timeline but this would defeat the purpose of zooming in the shot since i would be scaling over 100 this way.2) in my 1080p sequence go into each multicam clip and manually scale down the clips that make up the multicam to 50 but this is

I messed up and shot some HDR footage on my Pixel 7 Pro.  Everything else is Rec 709 and I prefer to keep it that way.  The subjects are in a trailer that literally has whiteboard as the interior sides to the trailer so the whites of these boards is super blown out.  When I right click on the clips and modify them (override media color space - rec 709) the highlights on the whiteboard get better but the skin tone on the subjects turns from pink tones to sickly gray.  Can anyone recommend best practices for moving forward with this footage?   I would really appreciate it.  I wish I could just transcode everything in media encoder and have new clips to work with.  

Hi,Can anyone enlighten me and tell me the difference between the "MXF OP1a" and the "DNxHR/DNxHD MXF OP1a" that pops up when I want to render & replace a clip in Premiere Pro 2017. And also the difference between "AVC Intra" and "DNxHD"I'm trying to find the best workflow for rendering & replacing an After Effects Comp, on the timeline, as close to uncompressed as possible.....- what would you do?Thanks/Per

We did a project with 2 cam (one tight, one wide), plus a sound guy who is recording on his own device. I imported all the footage and the sound. I created all the multicam files. It linked it up by cuts. So each cut is a multicam. I put all the multicam files on one timeline. So far everything works. I started editing. What is not good stay on V1 what is good goes on V2 and v3 and v4. Soon as I put cuts on other than v1 I seems to loose the multicam. I don't have access to both camera.... This is not normal, Help.

Anyone else having this issue? I am trying to import video from my Mac HD, but PP seems to stall  -- even when trying to import a single video file. I've never had this problem before.I even uninstalled and reinstalled the program, and even cleared the media cache and the problem presists. File type is h.264. computer type: M1 Max, 32GB ram. 

Hello.I've been using PP for a long time. Recently, I faced a weird problem. While I was working on a sing track 1 hour long video, I made 300+ cuts in it. I made ripple delete so the final product became roughly 30 minutes. When I went back for a review, all the cuts I've made have been shifted half a second. I made every cut precisely where I needed. Is there any settings for such a behavoiur? If so, how can I stop that?

Hi everyone,I’ve created an Adobe Premiere Pro extension using bolt-cep and React. Everything works perfectly on macOS (ARM), but on Windows, I keep running into the following error :"Uncaught TypeError: window.__adobe_cep__ is undefined"It seems like the CEP environment is not being detected or injected correctly on Windows.I’m trying to open the extension via Premiere Pro > Window > Extensions (Legacy), but it's not working as well.Does anyone know what might be causing this or how I could debug it further?Thanks in advance!

Hi Since updating Premier Pro to version 25.2.3.(build 4), it had struggled to render and is also struggling to preview video. Is there a bug in the most recent update. regardsKiana

Issue: When renaming video and audio tracks, I discovered that several characters are considered "invalid" to use in a track name, per a warning dialog box. However, the warning is triggered only for audio tracks, not video tracks. So I'm left wondering what kind of problem this is: Can these invalid characters cause errors down the road if they're inadvertently used in (video) track names? Was this an issue in earlier versions of Pr and is now obsolete, and the triger needs to be removed for audio tracks?   Steps to reproduce: Right-click in a track header (expanded or tall track heights) and choose Rename.  Type in a new name that includes \ / : * ? " < > | and press Enter/Return.   Expected result: Video track renaming triggers the samewarning as audio track renaming when using any of these invalid characters.  Actual result: Video track renaming does not trigger any warning, while audio track renaming does.  Premiere Pro version: 

I'm editing a video where the speaker has a disability meaning their speech is not always clear, because of that I'm tring to use the transcript feature to add captions to the video so they can be understood by everyone. However, I keep hitting an issue where premiere has decided there is a gap where they are in fact speaking. I understand that I will need to edit the rest of the text but because it has decided there is a gap there I cannot make it highlight the word at the correct point because it' doesn't believe there is a word there. Is there any way to correct the timings of a gap? I have tried messing with the length of pause to create a gap but it's no good. Anyone know better than me please?

I'm not sure is this a bug or just my Premiere problem? (Maybe my setting is wrong?) Everytime I wanted to attach proxies file which is not created by Media Encorder (Example using camera proxy) OR when I accidently close the Premiere Pro project file while Media Encorder still runing the proxies, when open back the project file in Premiere Pro, proxies are all offline. Try to re-attaching the proxies file but it doesn't appear in the Premiere Pro pop up window (Proxy is ald completed render from Media Encoder). Whyyy??? I notice it could because of the different file type/file name that cause my Premiere Pro couldn't recognise the proxy file...How can I fix this?

Hi, I've recently had a bigger memory added to my desktop. I've been uploading all my software back on the computer. So far so good - except for Adobe Premiere Pro...I went along to my home-page at Adobe and pressed 'download' for Premiere Pro. Once clicking that, I go to my 'Downloads' list and press to 'open file,' but nothing happens that I can see... Nothing.

Hi everyone,I've just purchased a brand new mac studio m4 max and I'm unable to use any envato graphics templates with adobe premiere pro as it either freezes or skips frames. I don't know if this is a mac issue or Adobe? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Bonjour, Je travaille depuis un macbook pro de 2021 sur la version 23.4.0 de Premiere pro. J'ai reonctré un souci à la fin de mon montage. J'ai une interview que j'ai découpée en segments que j'ai ensuite rassemblé. Tout marchait très bien. j'ai pu caler tous les segments avec l'audio (pris depuis un micro externe) et les sous-titres. Quand je retroune sur ma timeline, je vois que chaque segments vidéo et audio coupé ont repris la vidéo originale depuis le début. La durée de la coupe reste la même que lors de mon montage mais ça ne correspond plus du tout au moment choisi... Est-ce que c'est possible de re-synchroniser les coupes avec le fichier original ? Merci d'avance. Alex

Upgraded my computer recently to a new system, and on this new system Premiere Pro is having issues rendering anything. When there is nothing playing, the renderer is black, and when something is playing, it shows nothing but green, as seen in the attatched photos. This happens for any project and with any video files I have, and is thusly reproducable just by trying to use the app. This particular example is a project I had just created on this computer so I don't believe the issue is with importing the projects from the old system. In addition, as seen in the screenshots, the renderer option is greyed out within the project settings so I don't have any option to change it. Audio is completely unaffected. I have no plugins, add-ons nor anything of the sort, I'm just using the program out of the box. The issue persists on video files captured on the new computer as well. System specs:Processor: Intel i7-14700FGraphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060Memory: 32GB DDR5OS: Windows

I'm trying to monitor my voice through headphones as I record VO into the timeline. I have audio input set for the microphone and output set to the headphones, both in Premiere Audio Hardware and Mac system settings. If the Audio setting "Mute audio during input" is checked, I hear nothing - as expected. If it's UNchecked, I get a garbled, underwater-sounding version of the sound. Any ideas to be able to hear what's being recorded?(By the way, either way the setting is checked, the recording itself is fine.)

Hi there, I make nested sequences a lot for multicam edits. However, sometimes my nested sequences will not open as the others regularly do, and I can't figure out how to do so when I need to color correct the nested video tracks. This always happens when there's a different looking icon then the normal looking sequence icon. Here are the two icons with the top one being the one that won't open with a sequence as the others normally do:Can' someone please explain the difference? And if it's possible for me to make the top one like the bottom one? Thank you.

I want a square format crop from a 1920x1080 clip. When I change the crop in Sequence to square format, the clip is slightly off center. I adjust postion to center, but inadvertently made that as a keyframe, so the clip slowly moves right toward the end of clip. How can I change position for the entire clip duration? (not as a keyrame)Edit: I deleted the first Keyframe in Position -which corrected the issue. Is there a way to alter postion without an initial keyframe?Thanks,-Mr Noobular
