I bought a Lenovo Yoga Pro 9 a week ago, specifically for video editing. Immediately upon opening Premiere Pro it gave an error: "unsupported video driver". I updated all drivers and all general Windows updates, but the error message remained. I continued editing without any problems for a week, until today: video playback is super slow; the clips and media are loading very slow; loading text layers the same. Sometimes I have to wait 5-20 seconds before it responds to the simple command of spacebar. Sometimes when I press pause it just continues playing sound but not video. I changed the battery settings to maximum performance, and it's connected to the charger all the time. This didn't help. Then I updated drivers again, then the error message disappeared, but the problem remains. Everything related to video playback is super slow. Could it be that Premiere Pro is detecting the wrong video driver, since there's apparently 2 installed? Driver 1: Intel Arc Graph

De repente, la tarjeta falló y los archivos se dañaron. Premiere me daba errores y ya no podía usar la tarjeta.Por suerte, tenía una copia del archivo del proyecto (el editable de Premiere). También volví a descargar todos los videos originales.El Problema Ahora:Cuando intento abrir esa copia del proyecto en la última versión de Premiere Pro (la de 2025), no funciona. No abre o da algún error.Lo raro es que probé abrir ese MISMO archivo en una versión más vieja de Premiere (la 2021), ¡y ahí SÍ ABRE! Puedo ver mi video y todo parece estar bien.Mi Pregunta:¿Por qué pasa esto? ¿Por qué el archivo abre en el Premiere viejo pero no en el nuevo, si se supone que es un proyecto del nuevo?¿Hay algo que pueda hacer para que el archivo funcione en la última versión de Premiere Pro y poder seguir editando

Hello! I’m using Adobe Premiere Pro’s 2025 (25.2.3 Build 4 on Mac OS) built-in transcription tool (Text Panel → Transcribe Sequence) to generate transcripts from voice-over audio. I’m following the exact same steps for different sequences:I select the audio track.Click “Transcribe sequence.”Let Premiere auto-generate the transcript. But I’m seeing inconsistent behavior:In some sequences, the transcript is broken into very short lines—almost like individual sentence captions.In others, Premiere groups entire thoughts or blocks of narration into longer paragraphs, which is what I want.Same workflow, same speaker, same language (English), and same version of Premiere. The only difference I’ve noticed might be the speech rhythm or pause timing, but the inconsistency is really frustrating.Is this related to the “Detect speakers” checkbox during transcription? Or something else—like how Premiere interprets pauses or delivery style? Has anyone else

Hi is this Possible??  .rtf to be imported as a "Premiere Pro Transcript?" Is there a way? I created a transcript of a long interview, exported it as a Text File and deleted allll the speakers 2, 3 and 4 (the interviewer and camera crew) and now want to Import that .rtf as a premiere Transcript so I can then jump to or make subtitles of Only the time Code where Lisa Talks? Any tips and pointers?

Hi Guys,Just wanted to share a quick success story in case anyone else is running into what was recently MY export speed problem. I was running V24 for a while. Export time for an hour of 4k was around 20 mins. Then (for reasons unrelated to PP) I wasn't using PP for a couple of weeks. Computer was off all that time. After the two-week break, and after start-up and PP launch, I updated PP to V25, didn't give the update another thought, created and worked on a project, selected some export settings then exported (again, one hour 4k vid) and suddenly, mysteriously, export was taking over an hour. Of course right away I was thinking it was the update. I was going crazy for about a week, looking at forums and trying to solve the problem. I kept testing exports, but no change. Then by accident (running a quick export test for OTHER reasons) I altered what I was currently using (over the last week) as my export destination choice. Hi guys, Ever since using Premiere Pro, I've had major issues with exporting videos and getting the same quality / colour saturation as in my timeline and project window. I have attached screengrabs below displaying the issue I'm having, with my export settings (I've tested countless different export settings / watched many YouTube videos, but just can't seem to find what the issue is). I usually edit with Lumetri Colour panel directly on to clips in my timeline.  Someone please help, I need to submit my videos for college and can't keep up with this awful export quality!

I’m having a few frustrating issues in Premiere Pro VERSION 25.2.3 on my MacBook Pro M3 (48GB RAM). When I try to move clips around on the timeline, they keep jumping between tracks unpredictably, almost like they're "magnetised" to the wrong channels. The snapping feature also feels way less precise than usual. I’ve tried rebooting, resetting preferences, and it’s not a mouse issue as I’m using the touchpad too. On top of that, double-clicking to preview footage in the source monitor is super unresponsive, it takes multiple tries and a noticeable delay before anything loads. It’s really slowing down my workflow. Anyone else having this or know of a fix?

I imagine this may have been brought up before (but didn't find any mention in my subject search), but Media Encoder 25 is displaying a bug where Metadata Timecode and Burn-in effect is used for a sequence on a Transparent layer. It will export fine out out Premiere, but once sent to Media Encoder, it will show {nbsp} as part of the source timecode. Some other forums suggested checking on Import Sequences natively in Media Encoder, which sometimes solve the issue, but then occasionally double burns-in temp LUTs into the output for no clear reason. This issue isn't exhibited when exporting straight out of Premiere. I'm confused why this is occurring, and having to export multiple sequences straight out of Premiere is inefficient. I'm using a Mac M2 Ultra on Sonoma 14.6.1

I have been speeding up talking head clips to about 125%, and then applying the pitch shifter to make the voice sound natural. However I notice slight artifacts after adjusting pitch, that gives the voice a slight AI sounding feel. Is there anyway to avoid this or fix this? Is there a paid third party pitch shifter that would perform better than the default pitch shifter?

Premiere Pro 2025 25.2.3 failing to recognise video connection to UltraStudio HD Mini in preferences in Prem 2025 and After Effects. But sees the audio.Tried all the usual - re-installing drivers, checking security settings and extensions,Mac OS is 15.4.1Sees the HD mini in Davinci Resolve and works perfectly.Also the box is seen in Photobooth and OBS.Also had to put a call in to Contour Design as the ShuttlePro v2 fails to work and they admitted issues with the new M4 Max chips not being compatible with their new app. M4 Max 16 core cpu / 40 core Gpu - 48 GB Ram / 1tb ssd

Hey, ich habe mittlerweile mehrfach festgestellt, das Speech Enhance nicht nur Störgeräusche entfernt sondern aktiv Sprache generiert. So geschehen mit Files wo Hintergrund Musik lief und aus diesen Songs Sprachschnipsel generiert worden. In den FAQs steht aber, dass das nicht der Fall wäre. Ich hätte gerne weitere Infos dazu, vor allem aufgrund möglicher rechtlicher Schwierigkeiten die daraus resultieren können wenn neues Material generiert wird. 

Hello,My video source is MP4, and I would like to keep MP4 for the export. But my goal is to have lossless quality for the export in MP4.I don't want to use other format (like ProRes or DNX...). Is it a simple way to be lossless in that case (without going into settings) ?

My school computer uses premiere pro cc 2014, and I'm trying to figure out how to download that version onto my home computer so I can work on it outside of school. However, I only figured out how to download the latest version of premiere pro. How can I download the 2014 version on my home computer and allow my files to work on both computers?

Hello,I would like to bypass the Premiere Pro export mode in order to send my sequence directly to Media encoder. So I do File/export/send to media encoder.But, if I do that, I noticed that the PP export settings are put inside media encoder. I would like to have a full bypass (in media encoder I don't want to have the PP export settings). How to do that ?

I'm relatively new, working on a video with several cameras. I manually synced them, nested them and created a multicam. One of the cameras imported as if it was zoomed in, part of the picture is cut off. I'm working within the multicam now, when I try to zoom out I only get what's showing with a black frame around it. Zooming in works, no problem. Is there a way I can resolve this without starting over?

In Premiere Pro, I can render videos with my RX 580 GPU without any problems.When I go to After Effects, it is impossible to render with the GPU.Would the Adobe package have good compatibility with AMD GPUs?I can't afford to invest in an RTX at the moment.Would it be possible to work with Motion and Video with an RX 7600?

We're running Premiere Pro on 75 fairly new PCs and storing/ accessing/ playing media off a shared college network drive. I don't have the spec to hand (but can retrieve after the weekend if nec.) Some students' projects play clips with audio out of sync by 20-40 frames (video late). The source clips are h264 .MTS files. I would appreciate some tips for a workaround. E.g. short term: transcoding (to what?)/ moving to local drives (eg PC HD)/ changing network settings. Or long term: invest in department-only RAID. Is anyone else having this? Apologies for vagueness. I can fill in exact specs if required.

I'm working on Ventura 13.2.1 (22D68) using Premiere Pro 2024.6.1 I noticed a clip was slightly out of sync in my multicam, I went into the sequence, muted the top track to see/fix it, but when I unmuted the track, that portion of the file I've been editing with in multicam is still appearing as "black" and muted? When I match frame back into the multicam, the B Cam will appear again, but only slightly before this section I've edited with, then it suddenly turns black, then reappears....in the middle of a single video file. I've tried enabling/disabbling the clip. Muting/unmuting the track. Restarting Premiere, restarting my computer, deleting all my media cache files in hopes that this will fix it. Why can't the multicam feature ever just work with Adobe....this is the most basic of functions and the inadequacy makes me want to pull my hair out. I think I'm going to just migrate over to Avid if this isn't an easy fix....

Hello,I have set PP to open in the last recent project, but when I open PP it opens all the time with the "media explorer ". Why ? So I am obliged each time to select the project manually by clicking on the little arrow in the same panel. 

I have exported my sequence on the desktop, and PP says me that the export is OK, but I see that my video does not appears on the desktop. Finally, after a moment, the video appears on the desktop.So it did not appear immediately on the desktop after export. Why ?

If I squeeze the audio with the Rate Stretch Tool in the last two versions of Premiere Pro (24.4.1 and 24.3) and export the sequence, the audio will sound crackly throughout. I don't hear any crackling when playing back from the sequence immediately after squeezing the audio. But if I close the Premiere and reopen the project, I will hear the crackling also from playing back from the sequence.I re-installed Premiere Pro version 23.0 and there is no crackling issue. I'm using Windows 11 Pro. Version 10.0.2263 Build 22631 But now all the work I've been doing the past several months seems all crackly now. And the older Premiere won't let me open projects made from new versions of Premiere. I feel like you should change that and allow that to happen, even if some functionality might not work.

Operating environment: M2 Macbook Air (macOS: Sequoia 15.5) Premiere Pro 25.2.3 (Build 4)   In a Timeline panel, you can change the height of the screen by grabbing the thick border between the audio and video tracks. Grabbing the thick border between the caption track and the video track doesn't change the height on the screen.     This means that if you are using multiple caption tracks and you add a third or more tracks, they will be hidden in the top border of the Timeline panel. Is this considered a bug? Is there another way to change the height on the screen?

Since January I've had increasing problems exporting video with corrupt plabyack at one or more spots.My export settings are HVEC .265 at Full HD (1920x1080), VBR, 1 pass with a target bitrate of 16 Mbps. First the video will go blocky and then totally smears of confusion followed by the audio cutting out.After 10 to 30 seconds playback returns to normal. I try to scrub back and forth to check quickly in quick play mode. If it seems good, I upload to Vimeo where the client reviews (this is where we started having clients complaign about the glitches). Before I send Vimeo review links now, I try to watch every episode in the 20 part series in 2x time to scan the entire series and catch problems so they can be re-exported if needed.I export animation projects which will feature Apple ProRes 422 .mov source video plus some graphics, an adjustment layer & PNG watermark. Episodes are usually five minutes or less.We've been releasing animation series like this for seven years. I don
