Hi there !I exported this video once and noticed that had no sound, so when I tried to export again this started to happend: trying to export a 16min long wedding video - without any crazy effects or color grading - and premiere stops at 100% encoding, or sometimes even at 0%. It doesnt show any errors, it just stops and then when I cancel and try to exit the app it crashes but also without showing any errors.I've tried doing a copy of the project and even create another project with the same sequence and files but the same thing keeps happening. I've also unninstalled both versions of premiere (pro and beta) and keep having the same problem. I've cleaned media cache already.I have a macbook pro m1 from 2021 - never had any problems with this.

Just bought a new computer, downloaded creative cloud / premiere pro, latest versions. Made a new project and imported .MTS video files which I have used in premiere pro on my last computer only days prior. There is no video attached to the files once they import. Latest version of Premiere installed, Windows 11 HomeI have tried the following:Renaming file extensionUsing Media BrowserImporting 1 file at a timeImporting multiple files at a timeDownloading / Installing QuicktimeClearing and moving Media CacheNothing is working and this makes no sense. I am almost ready to change programs if I keep having stupid problems with Premiere...
I’m applying a mask to a clip to brighten a face. I have correctly done the tracking to follow the face during a zoom, and I’ve brightened the face, but the area outside the mask, the one not affected by the adjustment, remains completely blacked out. There is no way to restore the normal view and display the clip in its entirety. Can anyone help me bring back the blacked-out area? Thank you.
I'm trying to download Premiere Pro for a school project, but my iMac (late 2013) is too outdated for the current version of Premiere Pro.For some reason, it's also locked me out of installing previous versions; the option isn't in the dropdown menu where it is for other apps (see the attached photo). Is there another way I can download an older version of Premiere Pro (preferably 2023)?
I have been editing videos for about 10 years now and this is the first time I have encountered this issue.I work for a production company and we recently recorded some videos for a client, when exporting the videos in Premiere Pro (and in any other software) and playing them back on our phones, the audio does not work. Inside the Premiere Pro sequence it works perfectly and playback on computers (PC and Mac) it works perfectly as well. I have tried everything I can think of and looked everywhere online but since it is such a specific problem I havent been able to find any solutions, hence this post. Here are the raw footage specs And my export settings (although I have tried almost every export setting) Would really appreciate any help!
Hello. I could really use your thoughts on how to fix this problem. In the timeline, there are clips that are marked "media offline" with a red bar on the bottom. I haven't chanced the location, name, anything on these clips. My project file was acting squirrely during playback, and one fix I saw was to delete the media cache. I've been working on this project for awhile, so it made sense. I closed the project, reopened Premiere, and deleted the all the media cache. I have tried right clicking the clip in the timeline, opening the Link Media box to locate and relink the clips (the clips never moved) - and I get the "The importer reported a generic error" message.I've been working really hard on this project for a very long time. I hope all is not lost.I am using a PC windows 11, if this is useful.Thank you.Chris

I had issue with transcription in premiere 2025. Thetranscription rendering is showing & its taking a lot of time with no result. How to solve this? My laptop is windows with 16 gb ram & Nvidia rtx 3050 4 gb graphics
Hello, its Friday, I have a project due on Monday and Adobe agents are unable to solve this issue, in fact have only made it worse. Has any competent humans out there encountered these errors and come up with a solution?
Hi Close Captions made in Premiere Pro 25.1.0, exported as .SRT sidecar file. - this on Mac Studio running Sonomo 14.2.1 SRT file named the same as the video file / in the same folder Video file (ProRes 4444, 25fps,) has same QT timecode as SRT file. PLaying in VLC, Track 1 appears in Subtitle list, but after selection no close captions are displayed. Have uploaded it separately as external subtitle file and this makes no difference. The .SRT file has extra information on position and colour and I am wondering if that is causing the issue?Or is it in the way that the captions were first created in Premiere? An example section from SRT is below. Any pointers gratefully received. Thanks. Hi guys...I'm looking for either a document or a web site where I can view all the vid effects and transitions available in Premier Pro?
I have been testing the Media Intelligence with "Visual Search" on both Premiere Pro Beta and production version 25.2 since December 2024. The visual search functionality just does not work at all for me. I've tried virtually every variation of configuration of the Media Intelligence & Transcription settings. Everything works for transcription and the media search finds transcribed material in the clips without problem. The Media Intelligence Analysis appears to properly analyze each clip in the project. But the visual search never returns any results whatsoever. I've tried a wide variety of content in my test clips. I've also tried various types of searches including simple and detailed, obvious and less obvious. The search never returns any results from visuals, not even once. Please help. I am running premiere pro on a Microsoft Surface 7, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1065G7 CPU @ 1.30GHz 1.50 GHz, RAM 16.0 GB (15.6 GB usa
the photo above describes my issue. Every video including the sample given by adobe have these black horizontal lines when paused. Once I start to play the video it goes away. I am so confused what is happening. How do I get rid of it? I am on a HP ENVY 3n1 Laptop with 8gbs of ram
I have been using PrPro on Mac Sequoia fine for a couple months. Sequioa got buggy, adobe wouldn't open. Wiped hard drive - new install of Sequoia 15.4. reinstall PrPro (etc.)open ongoing prpro project. some of the files won't load. Link media, find the files (in the correct file path), get a generic import error. - clear cache- disable plugins (I don't use any except maxon, buy hey)- reset preferences- check permissions on diskIMPORTANT POINT - all files are on a hard drive with cloud backup - dropbox. All of them are downloaded to the hard drive (not virtual) 90% of the files link fine - it is only certain folders (and the files in them) that do not. This has happened a couple times in the past 4-5 years, and I always figure out how to get access to the files on the cloud/disk. I am hoping to save myself the trial an error to figure out what I did to make it work.thanks!
Issue - Laptop is freezing up within premiere in my nested multi-sequence timeline. It's taking a VERY long time to load. Sometimes 10 minutes just to get the "media pending" off my screen.. I am using 4k files and even make proxies but it will still freeze up at random points when I try to skim the timeline. I tried restarting my computer & clearing some cache already. Ive run into the dreaded Playerhead issue where want to play through the timeline doesnt show the playheard moving and pausing it will cause it to jump to the time it stops on. So far Ive found a temporary solution to fix this for me to where undocking the timeline will let the playhead moving again or keep the lumetri scope panel open. In the end, both of those temporary fixes should be required as something like this should be fixed at this point. Has any found a perminate fix this this? Ive uninstalled, deleted media cache, revert to saved layout to no avail besides the two "solution" Ive found works for me. Adobe is truly amazing on being unable to just have a solid version at this point. Whats funny is that it was working just fine yesterday and then all the sudden just doesnt work.
Hi, Sometimes the audio waveform just does not show up even thoug there is audio...I tried selcting the tracks, muting, unmuting, nothing seems to work. How to fix?
Hey, I often try to find solutions to my Premier Pro problems on YouTube. But for some reason, my YouTube quest for answers is simply not working. I've been having this issue with the colors in Premiere Pro. A little bit of background on my setup: I use a Sony ZV1 and oftentimes an iPhone to shoot footage. The issue that I'm talking about specifically now, though, deals with the Sony ZV1 camera. I use the auto setting mainly when using this camera for video. For some reason, the colors look different for my footage when I look at it in QuickTime versus when I look at it in Premiere Pro. Everything is fine in QuickTime, but the second i drag the footage into my Premiere timeline, the colors change slightly. In Premiere Pro, the colors are darker and look a little bit off. I believe the highlights are skewed aswell. For some reason, they don't look exactly like QuickTime. This forces me to color-correct every single time, and it's quite irritating. I just want my footage to look li
I have 4k footage of a talking head on green screen. I brought it into Premiere to get the multiple takes edited, in this case really just four segment for a total of 90 seconds. Dynamic linked it into AE for keying and color correction. Then back in Premiere added a lower third, logo on front and back, and music. All of this works perfectly and exports in 4k just fine. I need to deliver in 1080 h264 though, and now the problem. Every export is glitchy and blocky. I've exported from Premiere and Media Encoder, tried every preset for 1080, upped the bit rates, rendered the AE comp and then brought into Premiere to avoid pulling it through Dynamic link. No matter what I've tried, the export has is filled random glitches and blocky artifacts through out. This is a brand new Thinkpad P16 Gen 2. Windows 11, 96GB mem, i9, Nvidia RTX 5000 Ada, all Adobe software is freshly downloaded latest versions.I'm kind of at a loss at this point having never had this issue in the past. Any ideas why this
Hey there,I'm working on a project with multiple footages (music video) and since the beginning I've been doing the step-by-step default scheme to be sure that I won't have issues with this project.I've created a multicam sequence and made all the cuts i wanted: check! Now, i'm beginning to color correct each of the footages that are inside of this multicam sequence.BUT whenever I color correct it, when I get back to my main sequence, the Program Monitor only shows one camera (the camera that was choosen for the particulary cut) and not all the cams that I have. When I go to the wrench icon to check the Multi-camera status, it shows a small circle, instead of checked or not. This keeps happenning, all the time. Any valuable and pertinent inputs here will be greatly appreciated.
Hello, A rectangle appears every time I press either the Ellipse or Polygon tool button in Premiere Pro. How can I fix this problem?
25.2.1 Build 2 on Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1 When trying to customize my setup via Premiere Pro / Settings the "Cancel / OK" buttons do not react to either mouse click or pressing return on the keyboard. That means that none of the settings customizations will apply. Example: Label colors. When trying to change from "default" (sorry, who designed this set? they are pretty much indistinguishable) to "classic" the change will not be applied. This is true for ALL other settings. On top of that the only way to get rid of that floating "Settings" window is to randomly click into differenct points on the UI until at some point "settings" will disappear.
