I can't toggle on or off the Time Remapping function in the effects panel. I can still manipulate things through the timeline functions, but I much prefer using the Effect Control panel for efficiency and accuracy, its also handy to choose the type of speed ramping effects like bezier through that interface. I've tried rolling back to older versions of PP, all the way back to 2019, AND I've held down the Option key while booting up PP to reset my preferences, and neither of these methods have resolved my problem. This appears to be a glitch from Adobe. Has anyone found a way to solve it? (Also, it appears that the Panner function is victim to the same issue, but I just don't use that tool).

Hi All, I recently discovered the FrameIO login for Premiere, love it and how it ahs streamlined my workflow. The problem is that the latest project I sent to a client would not download for them, and I ran into the same thing when I viewed the link from another account and tried to download it. The files do not download as mp4s and open up as a bunch of code. Has anyone run into this? Is it a setting I have inadvertendly checked? 

I was making a few small changes to a text graphic when suddenly both audio tracks stopped being audible. I have confirmed the tracks are not muted and my computer audio is working. When I play back in the audio workspace (photo below) it is clear that the audio is there. When I move new audio tracks into the project they also don't have sound. I have opened other projects and the sound in those projects works fine. I've attempted restarting the program and my computer, but still the audio isn't audible in preview or when I export the final project.

Hi there, I'm trying to export a 1080p (24 fps) 90 second video in h264. I've done this hundreds of times before but for some reason the encoding window gets stuck on 0%. This is the first time I've tried to export with the latest update of Premiere Pro 2020 (14.0.1). Here are some quick notes:(running on Mojave OS) I have cleared media cacheI have tried render all previewsI have tried exporting in different formats to different locationsI have tried exporting through Media EncoderI have not experienced any issues with exporting from this project before. This is the first time encoding in this version of Premiere Pro 2020. Most recent successful export was in Premiere Pro 2019. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you!

Sometimes the audio in timelines dosent play, but if we re start the software the audio works.

The Program Monitor only displays the sequence that opens with the program. When I switch to a different sequence, the screen goes black. I’ve cleared the cache and reset the program, but the issue persists. How can I fix this?

  In, out frame information, I checked the API, but something seems different, so I need to check if this API information is correct. The attached picture is the activated 29.97 drop sequence.   The timeline time view was set to frames.   The picture is the value moved by using the go to in context menu. in point    out point   I checked this and called it from the API. var activeSeq = app.project.activeSequence; var in_point_time = activeSeq.getInPointAsTime(); var out_point_time = activeSeq.getOutPointAsTime(); var inFrame = inTime.ticks/activeSeq.timebase; var outFrame = out_point_time.ticks/activeSeq.timebase;   The results are as follows.   in frame: 82out frame: 137   Just in case, I tried the logic of processing it with getFormatted.. When I upload the a video only the auido seems to be working. Also when I drag a video to the preview section the video doesn't appear also. I tried restarted my computer. Cleared the catche section. Any help would be greatly apperciated. Thanks,Omar.

Hello, I'm having trouble with imported MTS files in premiere pro 2025 Build 61. After importing the file, I notice that the audio is out of sync. This only happens in PP. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi, I am having an issue ALT/OPT replacing updated Mogrt files in Premiere.I have read that you can alt/option drag a new version of a mogrt onto the old version and it should keep the changes from Premiere. It even worked for me once during testing but has now stopped working and I can't figure out why.If I alt/option drag a new version of the mogrt onto the old version it resets all the peramiters that were edited in premeire. This happens even when none of the peramiters were changed in AfterEffect.Any ideas would be greatly appriciated!Thank you in advance.

Hi, I could see the  Properties of my Captions but I could only edit a few things like font and alignment. I didn't see where could I edit the font size or other settings to modify my captions properly! Then it took me a day but I finally found  a solution to the problem:  In the Caption Track Settings, it was set to 'Australian OP-47.' When I changed it to 'Subtitle,' the missing settings appeared. Such a weird bug... Please report it, as it could be happening to other users and it is definitely tricky to find!

I have licensed the movie and need to remove the title page and edit some text throughout it. How do I do so whilst keeping the background intact? It was sent to me as a .mov file and I am using adobe premiere pro.Thanks

Such a trivial thing, but honestly the most annoying thing on Premier Pro right now, because I often use it for quick edits. 1. When I create a video, I select a project folder for it - great.2. When I export a video from that project, it doesn't export it automatically to the project folder but to the last exported project - which is the previous project.  Any way to set this up to be selected automatically? If not, can this be implemented as a feature? It's super annoying for quick edits. Premiere pro version: 24.6.4, iOS

Hello,I keep getting this error message in my video. I know it has something to do with the text as deleting the text removes the error but I can't seem to find a fix for it, my suspicion is that it has something to do with the new essential graphics panel as I have never seen this when using the legacy title. Below is a screen grab of my screen showcasing the error.The error first appeared on a colleagues PC, it originally opened fine on but today it has come up with the same error. I haven't installed any new fonts recently and everything is up to date. Reinstalling premiere also didn't work. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciatedCheersBen

Before the last update (October 2024) it was real simple. Go to the graphics panel, click edit. Insert a square, oval, or text, and there it was. Size, color, borders, shadows, fonts, outlines, was all RIGHT THERE in the panel. Now it's all gone. Text is managable through the properties window, which sucks. It's not streamlined, it's not convenient, but at least it's possible. I cannot find how to add a simple shape anywhere. The help section is worthless, can't find the answer anywhere else on the internet, so asking directly is the last option I have. Does ANYONE know where these simple controls have gone??

Hi folks,I've been struggling with this issue for about a year, and I’m out of ideas. After 20 years of exporting videos from Premiere, I’ve never encountered something this persistent.No matter how I export (via Media Encoder, straight from Premiere, different drives, using lower bitrates) my exported videos consistently contain chunks of black screen + no audio gaps. These chunks are usiually 5 seconds and sometimes there's only one of them, other times there are multiple gaps.I’m on Premiere Pro v25.1.0 (build 73), as a CC subscriber; I'm running on an M2 MacBook Air with 8GB RAM. I know 8GB is an obvious issue but for two solid years, this exact machine exported flawlessly. That’s why I’m hesitant to believe RAM is the only cause. I'm hoping there's something I can do despite that limitation.Would really appreciate any insight, especially if you’ve seen or solved something similar.Thanks in advance.Thierry

Hi All, I use the Edit Original feature to bridge the gap between Premiere and After Effects as a fundamental part of my work flow. It's great as it allows me to edit in Prem and very quickly make any VFX changes in After Effects then re-import without having to worry about opening the original comp from AE. However, where I used select the clip in Prem / click Edit Orignal and let AE automatically open up the spourec project for me to adjust it now opens the clip itself in VLC Media Player. It's a real pain and I can't find how to change the settings back. Anyone got any advice? Many Thanks in advance, Will

The graphic on this timeline should be only 15% opaque at the playhead... but it isn't. How come? Can anyone explain why this very common video editing feature is more complcated than just this, in Premier?     Thanks!     - As a side note, what is up with this irritating "feature" just to post a question? These have Nothing to do with my issue, but I have to choose one? Again, why? And why can't I just paste an image into this editor... but have to save the image as a file and then upload it here?     

This is an animated video I created in Firefly. I extended the last frame using frame hold. But it looks too still compared with the rest of the video which has a painterly-animated-movement to it that I'd like to continue as the last frame continues for a few seconds. I'm very new to Premiere Pro and not sure how to do this even after searching online. Thanks for any tips!

Hello, I'm currently working on a documentary and after updating Premiere to the latest version (25) some clips are out of sync and shifted in time. Looks like its interpreting some footage at a different frame rate or sample rate, although the image is also shifted. I can hear audio bits out of place and weird cuts start happening here and there.I've downloaded the old version of Premiere 24 and opened an old auto save made also in Premiere 24, there I can see the sequence is identical to the one in V .25 and works perfectly. Once I try to open that old project into the new Premiere 25 the problem shows again. I have a ton of work done by now on the new version of Premiere and my project is now a mess after the update, what can I do to fix this?I'm working on proxies on a laptopMacBook Airm224 gb ramSonoma 14.0  

Hi guys...I want to create a singer's highlight reel by picking sections from the main track of the whole performance to a separate track selected using In/out. I'm ok defining an in/out section. What I can't figure out is how to select the in/out section and copying (not cutting) just that in/out section to a separate track using paste.Thanks

I'm reaching out to Mathias Moehl at Automation Blocks. Mathias, I'm trying to use the New Project from Template Folder script. I think I'm following the workflow pretty carefully but I keep getting "Make sure the template folder contains the placeholder" error. I'm sure it's something on my end but is there a simple common error that users run into before I send more info to you?  I'm attaching a screenshot of the error message which shows the folder structure. If I'm understanding this correctly, the PP template project should be in this folder.
